BÁNH BAKERY is a cookie-focused bakery, offering small-batch cookies inspired by nostalgic Asian flavors alongside beloved American classics. While “bánh” translates to “cake” in Vietnamese, it’s also a broad term used for many foods—from dumplings and pastries to sticky rice treats and baguettes. We chose the name for its openness and versatility, even though our offerings are exclusively cookies. Rooted in tradition and shaped by our experiences, we bake to honor family, build community, and create second chances—one thoughtfully crafted cookie at a time

Every flavor is crafted with intention, balancing richness and subtlety so each ingredient has a purpose. We take a thoughtful approach to recipe design, creating cookies that highlight Asian flavors alongside timeless American classics. By keeping our sweetness levels in check and letting quality ingredients shine, we deliver cookies that feel both familiar and refreshingly different.

    We are a high end stone restoration company. I hired Banh to provide sweets for a networking event I hosted. We communicated about my budget, the expectations, and what the options were. Needless to say, they exceeded all expectations. The great food and drinks we already catered were topped off with some amazing desserts. I know our guests enjoyed the cookies because many were pocketing them for later or to share (which we allowed). Because of the high quality and taste, we are now starting to implement their sample packages into our marketing campaign and providing them to our high end clientele as a thank you treat for using our services.

    Bachelorette cookies

    Sf Bay Area bride to be. Recently had my bachelorette in Cabo with a handful of girlfriends, and had Bánh’s Bakery cookies part of the decor and welcome gift! Such a sweet touch (I’m a cookie loving bride). They were individually wrapped in a nice box with a bow. They present well and are delicious. You can taste the high quality ingredients. We got to try all their flavors and Pandan was a favorite! (For those who don’t know, Pandan pairs well with coconut—delish!) As a chocolate chip cookie snob, I appreciate the large chocolate chip chunks used in their cookies. Love that they offer catering for small and large bridal family gatherings.

    Unforgettable Wedding Cookies!!

    BANH BAKERY absolutely killed it!! We ordered cookies from them for our wedding, and they were truly PERFECT (and their customer service cannot be beat!). We chose the banana walnut chocolate chip, coconut pandan, and double chocolate chip, and every variety was balanced beautifully, with the ideal mix of sweetness, soft chew, and just-right crunch. Our guests raved about them all night (and still do!), and we couldn’t have asked for a better treat to share on our special day. We can’t wait to share photos once our photographer sends them! Thank you so much, BANH BAKERY!!!

    You won’t be disappointed

    Bánh honors traditional Asian flavors with a new modern twist. They have perfected their sweetness level; not too much and just enough. I’ve ordered variety boxes and dozens of cookies for events such as corporate team offsites, birthdays, baby/bridal showers and bachelorette parties. Every single person at each event loved the cookies and there were no crumbs left behind.

    A Crowd Pleaser!

    Banh Bakery brought their cookies to our dealership’s Cars & Coffee event, and they were a total hit. The texture is soft enough to melt in your mouth, and the balance of sweetness is spot-on, while being rich without being overwhelming. I could have eaten five in a row and still wanted more. The Banana Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie is the star. It’s comforting, elevated, and truly a crowd favorite, which is something guests of all ages will rave about long after the reception. What also stands out is the packaging. It’s polished and elegant, with clear ingredient labeling, making it ideal for gifting or as a memorable wedding favor. Even at 5 a cookie, they’re absolutely worth it for the quality and presentation. Cheryl and Charlie responded quickly to my request, and it was easy to plan out exactly what we needed for our event based on their recommendations. When dealing with a diverse crowd, you want treats that accommodate all palates. In this case, we literally ran out of cookies before the event ended! I don’t usually splurge on cookies, but I bought a separate box to send to my aunt on the East Coast just so she could experience them, too. That’s how good the cookies are!
