We first learned about Oso Events in the summer of 2022 while remotely planning our California wedding from the East Coast. From the very first introductory call, they blew us away with their professionalism, punctuality, warmth, organization, and excellence. Without them, our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing as it was! They found us fantastic vendors in the Bay Area like the food, HMUA, DJ, and server staffing company, organized our wedding day schedule, held regular video calls with us, got quotes from vendors, kept track of our budget and payment schedule with weekly updates, arranged set-up of the ceremony and reception venue, made sure our vendors got day-of tips, and more! The only thing that could be improved is that there was a specific deadline for event liability insurance that I and the planning team all missed initially. No harm was done though! The mistake was caught in time before it affected the event, and all went well! Michelle and Raymundo excellently identified what our energy levels as a newlywed couple would be like in the week leading up to the big event, and the day of the actual wedding. Raymundo directed our impromptu ceremony rehearsal, helping our officiant and party mark their places and signaling where/when we should stand and walk. Michelle checked in with the bride and the groom consistently throughout the night of the reception, asking if we needed water, food, or other drinks since we were often distracted by the festivities. They maintained effective communication leading up to and on the day of the wedding. Their decorations at the ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. At the end of the night, they managed takedown, and made sure all of the personal decorative items and remembrance photos we brought were conveniently all in the same box for us to take home. Through the yearlong process of planning, they dealt with last-minute logistical changes with incredible poise, and truly grounded us, allowing us to enjoy the day with free minds. The team even accommodated two of our guests who tested positive for COVID last-minute by setting up a separate table for them in the outdoor venue. We couldn't recommend them more highly. Not to mention, their BobaHolics boba bar was a huge hit and the photo booth was a lot of fun. We got a lot of mileage out of the sustainable decor inventory, which prevented us from having tons of wedding stuff on hand that we'd accumulate and need to resell after. The entire range of services offered by Oso is incredibly helpful and will make any event an absolute hit. We have loved working with the team and we’re so grateful they decided to take us on as clients at the start of their wedding planning journey.

We felt so well taken care of throughout the entire process, and especially the few days up to and including our wedding day. We were so thankful to not have to worry about anything day-of and had a wedding making amazing memories! We worked with Yoko from Two Perfect Events, and her team was on top of it every step of the way. Yoko made sure to get to know us and took every step possible over the year we worked together to make sure that we were prepared for the big day. She was in touch with our vendors, and our families and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We never felt behind schedule or rushed because Yoko and team were so organized and on top of it. They really took care of us throughout the entire process. Something we appreciate is that they anticipated we'd need breaks during the day and scheduled those for us as well, they also made sure we were fed and hydrated throughout! Our families could not stop talking about how efficiently the entire day was managed. 11/10 want to plan another wedding just to hire them again.

Perfect set up and break down: For our wedding, we had a lot of detailed DIY set ups and fragile arrangements which Julia and her team were able to oversee, set up, and break down for us which was incredibly important to us – we didn’t break or lose one of our items, and finished all within our allotted hour time frame. From DIY centerpiece florals, to DIY acrylic everything – to our own slideshow and long bar set ups – it was exactly to our vision. 2. Above and beyond with our fur-children: You can count on Julia to also take on all sorts of requests for your big day. We had our 5 dogs in the ceremony which was a critical part for us and her team was able to make that happen despite the extra logistical lifts and practice. 3. Timing: the dress rehearsal Julia led was incredibly helpful to the wedding party and officiant that it set us up for success that on the actual wedding, we started ON TIME and had buffer time for any set backs or emergencies. She was also great at guiding our guests in a swift manner to the ceremony and then the reception room despite the open bar 4. Fun: Although we hired Julia and her team for only the day-of, we felt like when they were with our families, wedding party, and guests, that they were part of our group – they were friendly, social, polite, and incredibly professional. We needed Julia and her team on the day of our wedding, we just didn’t realize and appreciate it even more so until the day-of. Thank you Julia and Kim for everything in prep and on the day of our special day. We’re grateful to have you had on our side to make the wedding of our dreams come to life.

As parents of two married children, we have used Saskia twice and it was the best money we spent! They were both dream-come-true events! One was much bigger than the other and every guest I spoke to raved about the attention to detail that was evident. Though I am an organized, detail-oriented person I had NO IDEA what a Herculean effort it would be to execute a 285-person dream wedding without her and her team's help. It is invaluable to have someone who understands what is necessary and has worked in the wedding industry to help you navigate the many elements needed to stay sane and within your budget! We had 14 months to plan a wedding 2 1/2 hours away and at every turn she was there...asking questions I wouldn't know to ask, offering other cost-effective alternatives if I was nervous about a quote, walking the property with us so she could visualize the day and be the intermediary so we could relax and enjoy the day with virtually no worries. We chose to use Saskia's "full-design" option and it is worth EVERY penny! She created an amazing vision board presentation that took every element the bride and groom were hoping to experience. She connected us with other professional, affordable and reliable vendors and was such a calming, yet bad-a** advocate when we needed her as the to-do list started ramping up in the days before. She even brought to life my daughter's dream for a tequila specialty bar that was so creative and fun! I have told everyone about her and am sure she will get even more business from the guests who attended and were blown away by such a perfectly executed event! She is a first class, wedding-executing super hero!!

It goes without saying that when it comes to event planning, Andrina gets it! She's insanely creative and at the same time refreshingly collaborative. When I contacted her about organizing a romantic marriage proposal, she made it a priority to understand my vision and then build off of it. Given that I wanted to propose in Big Sur but couldn't come up from LA without getting caught, Andrina scouted several locations, took photos and videos, and kept me updated on all our options as they developed. She was transparent in all our communications and was always conscious of our budget when giving suggestions. The execution of this proposal was flawless and exactly what I imagined. There was a beautiful picnic arrangement waiting for us as at a secluded, picturesque spot where photographers were inconspicuously pretending to be tourists until I popped the question. After an intimate photoshoot we proceeded to a surprise dinner with the rest of the family at a local restaurant, where the table had been pre-arranged with flowers and custom menus. It was such an incredible day and I can't thank Andrina enough for making this important moment happen. Cheers!

Meshawn and the team at Perfection Unlimited were our Coordination team for our October 2023 wedding. We could not have asked for a better team to coordinate our unique wedding ceremony that was a surprise to our guests. After connecting with PU via Thumbtack back in mid-2023, we spoke with Matthew who immediately understood the importance of our vision. Our wedding was held at the New Parkway Theater in Oakland, Ca. It started off as a friends and family screening of a short film (the Bride was the director, the Groom was a crew member). Then, during the post-film Q&A, we revealed to our guests that we were getting married right then and there in the theater. Not only did PU coordinate a film screening complete with red carpet, step & repeat photos, food, drink, DJ and more, but they helped transition into a full wedding ceremony. Meshawn ran point on everything: rehearsal, procession, recession, cake, etc. Stellar team members, Angel and Rakisha, executed everything flawlessly. Angel acted as the special events coordinator, making sure our tech was on point (sound, picture, graphics, everything!) and she even made a reel for us to post on our socials. PU was up for the challenge of our 2-in-1 surprise wedding/film screening, and they rose to that challenge with much aplomb. For what we asked for, they could've up-charged us greatly. PU made us feel heard and seen throughout the process. We wanted our wedding to be a collaboration between BIPOC businesses and creators celebrating what we can achieve when we work together. Thanks to PU for what they promised, perfection.

While working an event, by the end of the night, everyone was calling me "Mom" because I was there for whatever they needed and it made us all laugh. In looking back at these moments and the feedback from my past clients and colleagues, it makes me proud to think that "everyone needs a Bradie." Everyone needs that person who will support them, hype them up, keep them on track, and be your advocate. In life, that person is likely your partner.

Bradie is an absolutely incredible wedding coordinator! I had not even hired her yet and she was helping me find vendors (who we also hired). Even our photographer, who had never worked with Bradie before, said she was the best he had ever had the pleasure of working with. Bradie works with you early to make sure you are on track and helps with any questions that come up. As the wedding got closer, Bradie took on communicating and organizing with my other vendors. Any bump in the plan that came up, she was on it to make sure it was resolved. If any detail was stressing me out, Bradie, took it on no problem. She was usually already working on it by the time I asked. The day of coordination was flawless. I didn't really have to think of a thing, I just got to have fun and enjoy the big day. It's 8 million percent worth it to have Bradie as your coordinator.

I was able to easily communicate my priorities on the special day and even share my wedding pet peeves to avoid. Christina was excellent at brainstorming ideas and suggested plenty of ways to approach a situation. When we worked on building the timeline together, she was very thorough and insightful. I sent her so many timeline revisions (as timing means EVERYTHING and it definitely matters), but Christina took them and made it look seamless. On the wedding day, Christina and her team (thank you Heather and Leanna!) made sure we were happy and stress-free. Our morning started with Heather running the errands of the busy morning and was the go-to person for myself and the wedding entourage. Heather was also able to help us create a floral bouquet we used for our ceremony offering. It turned out so beautiful! She did a terrific job. I was always reminded to take a bite of food and to stay hydrated while we were getting ready. Christina helped us execute the ribbon wand exit after our church ceremony. It turned out to be one of the highlights of the day. Everyone had so much fun doing it. As for the reception, Ingobo was able to help set the table decorations- centerpieces, candles, name cards, order of guests, etc. Leanna was at our side making sure we were well-fed and no one pulled us away from the sweetheart table. She was able to give us reminders of the timeline and was very sweet. Overall, Christina and her team orchestrated our wedding day perfectly. We received many compliments from our guests stating they noticed how smooth the day went. Ingobo's Day of Coordination services made a huge impact on how we were able to enjoy our special day. My husband and I are truly grateful for hiring them as part of our wedding team.

Hillary was our day-of coordinator and she ensured everything went according to plan and helped with any bumps we encountered. Talk about making the impossible, possible! I had worked with MVW Events to plan a surprise engagement picnic for my then girlfriend, now wife. Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there. We are now coming on a year happily married and I would not have had the confidence to execute such a plan on my own. THANK YOU Morgan & Team!! 10/10 Recommend!

If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. If you see this same review on multiple sites, it is because I will never stop copying and pasting how amazing this woman and her business is. Wishing you all as great of a wedding as we had.
