“We could not speak more highly of Luvdup DJs! Gemma and her team were amazing throughout the entire process. We needed DJs for three events throughout our wedding festivities. The vibes and music/genres were very unique for each event, but Gemma and the DJs we had for each event knocked it out of the park, far exceeding our expectations (shoutout to Ty, Kelton, and Kevin!). We appreciated how much care and thought was given during the discovery and planning part of the process. Gemma and the DJs took the time to understand our vision and fill in their expertise to whatever degree we wanted, without ever being pushy. This was important to us because for certain events we had a clear and specific vision (pretty much “play this playlist”) and for others we only had a high-level vision of the music/genres. We have to give a special nod to DJ Ty, who was the DJ through the main wedding reception (first dances, speeches, dance party): Ty went above and beyond in all ways. Beyond a superhuman sense of music and DJ’ing, he was humble, helpful, and keenly aware. He anticipated and proactively helped multiple members of the wedding party throughout the evening, and always focused on making it our best day, never drawing unnecessary attention to himself. “From the moment we first spoke with Matty at MD Music & Entertainment, we knew we were in good hands. You learn quickly in wedding planning how important communication is and Matty is excellent in this regard. He was quick to respond, helpful and reassuring every step of the way. The quality of Matty's work and his value was truly exceptional - Matty took the time to understand our taste in music and the vibe we wanted for each aspect of the night, and then spun that into absolutely perfect playlists. Our guests were on the dance floor until the final minute, raving about how incredible the music was. I should note, we requested what was basically a 4.5 hour dance set and Matty didn't bat an eye and our guests never wanted to leave. I think it's worth noting that Matty's style is to let the music shine and he won't overpower that with too many announcements or call outs. Also, I know he got requests from guests in real time but he protected the work we'd done together in advance and made sure not to stray from what we communicated that we wanted as a couple in those moments. Matty also went above and beyond to help organize live music with a family member, demonstrating his professionalism and commitment to making our day special. We cannot recommend MD Music & Entertainment highly enough!”

“Marcus DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and he was the best DJ we could ask for! We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. Later, he played a great set of 2010s-2020s EDM and hype guest favorites that got the dance floor lit, and with great mixing and transitions too. Highly recommend Marcus if you're looking for a wedding DJ who's very skilled/experienced and just really knows music (not your average wedding DJ)!”

From the very beginning, Chris and the entire 4AM team (Janice included!) were incredible to work with — thoughtful, organized, and an absolute pleasure throughout the entire process. “Ana & Jimmy were in a different league from the moment we met them. On our first Zoom, they listened to everything I said about our taste and our vibe… and then gently told me that our beloved saxophonist idea didn’t match anything we had described. They recommended a guitarist instead— and thank goodness, because they were absolutely right. Their planning process was incredibly thoughtful.. and for me, hilarious. Their music surgery? Thorough and genius, and apparently visible to them before you hit submit. Which meant they saw me type things like “Haed pass,” “No thank you,” and “What even is that??” Live. Thankfully, they have incredible senses of humor. They checked in multiple times, did a full site visit, and showed up with a sound team who stayed all night to make sure everything was flawless. They even coordinated our private outdoor first dance with our violinist while sending the music inside to guests — seamlessly. But the reception is where they catapulted into untouchable territory. They don’t just sing and DJ… they perform. Including: * the full, committed N’SYNC “Bye Bye Bye” choreography * A Blink - 182 elder millennial scream-along that transported us back to 2003 * Coming onto the dance floor to hype everyone * Interacting with guests like they’ve known us forever. I don’t dance— and I was on that dance floor all night. Our guests are still texting us about how unreal the band was and we’ve heard “best wedding I’ve ever been to” on multiple occasions. He has toured all over the world and his drumming can be heard on various National TV Commercials, and is featured in the 2024 release of Paramount Pictures’ Mean Girls movie. Since even before leaving the touring life in 2015, Jon has been a fixture in the New York private event/wedding band scene and has been a drummer, band leader, talent booker and event producer for the biggest agencies and bands in the area.

“Alex was a total hit at our wedding! We had some specific songs we wanted to play - and he did - but we mostly trusted him and had a saying leading up to the wedding: "let Alex cook." And cook he did. A good dance floor was important to us (my wife LOVES to dance) and he couldn't have delivered a better dance floor vibe. Alex is a total pro from start to finish but doesn't have that generic, sometimes cheesy "wedding DJ" vibe. He picked up on our taste and played exactly what we had in mind. We also booked a saxophonist through Alex and WOW was that a hit. The sax player (also named Alex) was a high energy, high vibes addition. Totally recommend asking AE about that.”
