DJ Dan blew us out of the water from the very first call we had with him. His professionalism, communication, and positive, uplifting vibe was perfect for our evening. DJ Dan was absolutely amazing! My wife and I were very particular about our DJ as we wanted someone who could be collaborative but also highly skilled (particularly at transitions). Dan exceeded our wildest expectations! Our wedding day simply would not have been as perfect without him. Dan is an excellent communicator and made the entire process stress-free. You know he doesn't care only about the music but also the couple! 5/5 stars, highly recommend for any couples out there looking for an amazing DJ!

I wear a suit unless otherwise instructed or a more formal black tie event.

Absolutely! if your venue requires it, or asks for a "C.O.I." I can email it to them at any time.

I will arrive a minimum of two hours before guest arrival .

I do indeed. These services can be purchased as an additional add on from my A La Carte Menu.

Travel is $1 per mile round trip . Set up and Break down is included I am available for destination weddings, however there are associated costs involved. Please contact me if you have interest in using me for a destination wedding.

Sure, really up to you . My default policy is to only take requests that match your personal style and the style of music we are playing at the wedding, however I also like to only play songs that both you and your guests will know. Some couples prefer to give me full creative reign except for the formalities such as father daughter, etc and others tell me not to take any requests. Meanwhile, other couples tend to give me an entire playlist of songs they want to hear. Really depends on the couple.

Absolutely! Everything is all A La Carte so add things as you wish. I do have 3 separate sound systems to account for multiple locations such as Ceremony or cocktail outside in a different location than your main reception.

Taxes are included in the rate.

I have DJed at hundreds of venues. Each year I DJ at a dozen venues for the first time. In the event that I am playing at your venue for the first time I do the following things: I speak with your contact at the venue and ask any questions I have I arrive 3 hours before guests (rather than 2) I often make site a site visit before the wedding and even offer to be a part of your walkthrough at no extra cost to you.

Unfortunately, no. I would be afraid to bother my couple whose wedding it is. however I do have a bunch of mixes that I have recorded live on my mixcloud and soundcloud page. If you still do not see something you like let me know and maybe I can make a small mini mix just for you :-) Also I am the resident DJ at Raising Cane's in Times Square NYC. I am there 4-5 days a week during the day so you are welcome to come there to hear me play live, Just not at someones wedding.

If I had to cancel ( which has NEVER happened), I would give you a list of three DJs to choose from. If you decided to choose one, they would DJ your wedding on the same terms as we had agreed on. Same price. I would provide them with all the information you provided me. you would not have to provide it again. If you decided not to choose one of them, and to pick a different DJ, I would return your deposit and all funds paid and wish you the best of luck.
