    Don’t go anywhere else! The best!

    We had DJ Herbert Holler at our wedding and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From our first conversation, he was caring and easy to work with, listening to what we wanted while being flexible about our budget. Herbert took our song selections and built on them in a way that kept everyone dancing all night—he really understood what would get our guests excited. His dedication to making our day special showed in every decision he made, and the quality of his work never suffered even though we were mindful of costs. He brought a personal touch to the whole event that made it feel uniquely ours. We'd absolutely recommend Herbert to any couple looking for a DJ who truly cares about their celebration.

    Best DJ EVER

    TLDR; You simply must hire DJ Herbert Holler if you're looking to have the dance floor of your dreams. When planning our wedding we knew hiring an amazing DJ would be our top priority. We interviewed several highly qualified contenders but none compared to Herbert! From our very first conversation, Herbert stood out. He was professional, organized, and genuinely curious about who we are as a couple: what music we love, the moments that mattered most to us, and the kind of energy we wanted in the room. Every email and call leading up to the big day was thoughtful and prompt, and he made the planning process feel collaborative instead of transactional. By the time we walked into our reception, we knew our vision was in the best possible hands. And then he absolutely delivered. Herbert has an incredible gift for reading a room. He knows exactly when to drop the song that takes the energy from a 7 to an 11, and exactly when to pull back. Our dance floor was packed from the moment it opened until the very last song, and the vibe was pure high-energy party from start to finish. Guests kept coming up to us all night asking who our DJ was. His mic presence is smooth and charismatic without ever being cheesy or overbearing; he hypes the room without making it about him. If you want a wedding where people are still talking about the dance floor weeks later, hire Herbert. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!!

    DJ Herbert Holler gave us everything we could have asked for in a DJ. We gave him direction on the vibe we were going for and he took over from there, executing a perfect dance set that got the crowd really hyped up! He also kept the evening on track with his emceeing.     Amazing Vibe-Curating DJ

I can provide music for any part of your occasion. (Except the honeymoon. That would be weird.)
Yes. I not only take them, but welcome them. It gives me a great sense of what your guests want to hear, and when added to my improvisational abilities, makes for one heckuva dance party!

"Open format." I will work with you on the music you expect to hear for each section of your wedding production, follow your vision, take note of songs you "must hear" and song you'd rather not, and then I'll put it all together into one magnificent mix of music that will keep you and all your guests happy and having fun!
Usually, a button-down shirt, sport jacket and pressed pants, but I'm happy to wear a suit and tie, or tuxedo, or whatever you request.
My sound man is usually first to show, about two-to-three hours before go time, then I'm on site shortly thereafter, leaving plenty of time for sound check and pre-wedding meeting with planner and venue captain.
I can also provide uplighting, dance-floor lighting, smoke/haze, MC-ing, dancers, live musicians, and probably whatever else you need, at an additional cost.
My travel fee depends on how far I need to travel from NYC, but I'm negotiable and happy to work within your budget if I can. (There is no "break-down" fee.)
I don't charge sales taxes.
I send you a simple, one-page contract, and once it's fully executed, and I'm in receipt of the deposit (half the total amount specified in the contract), the date is yours.
