I’m Magalie, a NYC-based wedding photographer documenting weddings, elopements, and celebrations throughout New York, New Jersey, and beyond. My work blends documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, capturing the genuine emotions, beautiful details, and in-between moments that make each celebration unique. Using both digital and film, I create imagery that feels timeless, intentional, and true to the people in front of my camera. At the heart of my work is a love for honest moments and photographs that bring you right back to how your wedding day felt.

I believe your wedding day should not feel like a photoshoot, but your images absolutely can. My approach gives you the space to be fully present while I document the real moments unfolding around you, stepping in with gentle direction when it’s needed and fading into the background when it’s not. Beyond the photographs, I’m known for bringing a calm, supportive presence to a wedding day.     So nice we hired her twice!

    We hired Magalie a year ago for our city hall elopement. From our first Zoom call, we knew she was the perfect fit. We spent the day together galavanting around NYC, got pizza and she even came back with us to Jersey City to make sure we could get photos with our beloved dog. She’s so easy to get along with and she captured amazing photos of us - with film too! When we decided on having a reception on our 1-year anniversary, hiring Magalie again was a no-brainer. Once again, she was an absolute pleasure to have with us, our coordinator and families loved her, and we love the photos from our sneak peek. We are constantly told how beautiful our photos are and she is seriously such a lovely person. We would recommend her to anyone!

    Wonderful engagement photographer !

    We couldn't be happier with our engagement photos! From our very first email, she was incredibly responsive and easy to work with, every question was answered quickly and thoughtfully. She was also wonderfully open to our feedback and revisions along the way, and the final images are absolutely stunning. These are photos we know we'll cherish for the rest of our lives.     MVP of our Wedding Vendors!

    Magalie was the MVP of our wedding day! Normally we feel awkward in front of the camera, but she made it so easy and natural. She was so organized, especially in family formal portraits that we breezed through so seamlessly. Magalie went above and beyond throughout the day and getting us so many sneak peeks so quickly. She delivered the final photos ahead of schedule and they are absolutely phenomenal. We love her true to life color and the way she captured our essence so perfectly. Magalie was a delight to work with- I wish I had another occasion to work with her again! I'd recommend her to anyone and everyone. Truly our #1 vendor!!

    We loved our wedding photographer

    We absolutely love Magalie and couldn't have asked for a better photographer for our City Hall elopement in NYC.     Amazing Wedding Photographer!!

She was so organized about gathering our ideas and turning them into a real plan that gave our wedding day direction. On the day itself, Magalie stayed flexible when our guests started arriving early and adjusted everything seamlessly. What really blew us away was opening our photos and finding she'd included 35mm film shots as a surprise—those images added a creative touch we didn't expect. Her storytelling through the lens is intentional and captures not just moments, but the feeling of the day. Looking through our photos lets us relive such a special time, and we're grateful Magalie was there to document it all.

You can expect to receive the final gallery within 2-3 weeks for an engagement shoot. For wedding photos, the timeline varies: during the off-season (November to April), the gallery will be ready in 6-8 weeks, while during the peak season (May to October), it may take 8-10 weeks.
For the wedding, you can expect approximately 75-100 edited photos per hour of coverage, including both color and black-and-white images.
If you don't see a package that fits your needs, I'd be happy to work with you to create a custom package tailored specifically to your vision and requirements. Please let me know what you're looking for, and we'll craft a solution that perfectly suits your special day.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
I don’t charge travel fees for weddings within 125 miles. For locations beyond that, I’m happy to provide a custom quote based on the distance.
