I’m Magalie, a NYC-based wedding photographer documenting weddings, elopements, and celebrations throughout New York, New Jersey, and beyond. My work blends documentary storytelling with an editorial eye, capturing the genuine emotions, beautiful details, and in-between moments that make each celebration unique. Using both digital and film, I create imagery that feels timeless, intentional, and true to the people in front of my camera. At the heart of my work is a love for honest moments and photographs that bring you right back to how your wedding day felt.

I believe your wedding day should not feel like a photoshoot, but your images absolutely can. My approach gives you the space to be fully present while I document the real moments unfolding around you, stepping in with gentle direction when it’s needed and fading into the background when it’s not. Beyond the photographs, I’m known for bringing a calm, supportive presence to a wedding day.     You need Magalie!

    I’ll let the photos speak for themselves and these are just the sneak peeks… Magalie made our day run absolutely seamlessly, in addition to her incredible talent, eye for detail, creativity and organization. Having her be apart of our wedding day was a decision I am so happy I made and I can’t express how grateful I am.     Working with her was the best decision!

    Magalie was an absolute dream to work with! We were lucky enough to shoot not only our engagement photos but our entire wedding weekend with her. Choosing to work with her was one of our first and best decisions! Magalie was not only a joy to work with as the couple, but also as a vendor - we have heard nothing but glowing feedback from the other vendors we hired. She made the entire process so easy, making us feel comfortable, guiding our entire family and wedding party to make sure we got all the shots we wanted, and ensuring the entire process was stress-free. Her genuine kindness and exceptional talent showed through every minute of the day and in every single photo! Our photos have exceeded every single one of our expectations and have blown away everyone who has seen them.     Let's make it simple: Hire her!

    We LOVED working with Magalie! She handled so many details and had so many great ideas it made our wedding day easy. Her energy is infectious and her ability to adapt is nothing short of wonderful. Oh! and her photography is amazing! We're in love with our photos. Magalie brings her own perspective and style to the day and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She met with us a few times before the event to really make sure she was able to deliver and she did. I thought a photographer would be another thing to have to manage on our wedding day, and instead her guidance made the day effortless.

On our wedding day, she had an incredible gift for fading into the background—we barely noticed her working, yet she captured the most authentic moments of us together. Her eye for detail showed in every shot, and the final photos exceeded what we imagined. Magalie kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed, and somehow made posing feel natural instead of awkward. She wasn't just our photographer; she felt like part of our wedding party.     So nice we hired her twice!

    We hired Magalie a year ago for our city hall elopement. From our first Zoom call, we knew she was the perfect fit. We spent the day together galavanting around NYC, got pizza and she even came back with us to Jersey City to make sure we could get photos with our beloved dog. She’s so easy to get along with and she captured amazing photos of us - with film too! When we decided on having a reception on our 1-year anniversary, hiring Magalie again was a no-brainer. Once again, she was an absolute pleasure to have with us, our coordinator and families loved her, and we love the photos from our sneak peek. We are constantly told how beautiful our photos are and she is seriously such a lovely person. We would recommend her to anyone!

You can expect to receive the final gallery within 2-3 weeks for an engagement shoot. For wedding photos, the timeline varies: during the off-season (November to April), the gallery will be ready in 6-8 weeks, while during the peak season (May to October), it may take 8-10 weeks.
For the wedding, you can expect approximately 75-100 edited photos per hour of coverage, including both color and black-and-white images.
If you don't see a package that fits your needs, I'd be happy to work with you to create a custom package tailored specifically to your vision and requirements. Please let me know what you're looking for, and we'll craft a solution that perfectly suits your special day.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
I don’t charge travel fees for weddings within 125 miles. For locations beyond that, I’m happy to provide a custom quote based on the distance.
