    Perfect fit for our wedding!

    Kenny was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding. From our first meeting, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly organized. He took the time to meet with us multiple times before the wedding and really got to know us as a couple, which made all the difference on the big day. One of my favorite things about working with Kenny was how well he understood our vibe. My husband and I love Afrohouse music, but we had a very multicultural, multigenerational guest list. Kenny found the perfect balance between incorporating the music we love while keeping the dance floor packed and making sure guests of all ages and backgrounds had an amazing time. It never felt like he was playing a generic wedding playlist; everything felt intentional and tailored to us. His setup looked beautiful, and the uplighting completely transformed the reception space. It created such an incredible atmosphere and brought the whole room to life. Throughout the night, he kept everything running smoothly, from announcements to transitions and dancing. If you’re looking for a DJ who is professional, experienced, and truly takes the time to understand your vision, Kenny is the one.     We were sore the next day from dancing all night!

    Kenny and Nathaly were my favorite vendors from our entire wedding weekend. We hired him to handle the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and everything worked seamlessly. In the days after our wedding, our guests were raving about our DJ. A handful of our friends are DJs themselves. From our first correspondence, he was so professional and accommodating. We knew we could trust him with all the intricate details of our wedding day. He spent a lot of time with us so he could understand our vision and expectations for the day which was no small task! Our wedding day brought together a midwestern, Black American family and an Italian American family from New Jersey. Love disco and pop music, My husband loves hip hop. The majority of our guests are millennials but our oldest guests were in their 80's and the youngest was 6 months old. Everyone heard a song they knew and loved and everyone was dancing. Additionally, our timeline got off the rails (as they tend to do at weddings) and Kenny handled it all perfectly. Even as the bride and groom, we didn't fully know what issues occurred until after the wedding day. I could honestly rave about this duo for days but I'll wrap by saying Kenny knows music and has a lot of technical skills (transitions were cleannnnn, he had amazing energy on the mic, sound was fantastic all day!) but his real gift is his ability to connect with his couples and at the end of the day, that is what has meant the most to us!

    A Memorable DJ!

    Today is my first wedding anniversary, Kenny was my DJ and I remember the music as one of the best elements of our wedding day. Kenny is not only a DJ but a caring human being who supports you throughout the very stressful time that is wedding preparation. We knew we wanted a bilingual DJ who could understand and communicate with our Colombian family and friends, and he nailed it. Everyone kept telling me how great the music choices and transition were; the party and afterparty reflected a marriage of cultures. Kenny guides you to the process by scheduling relevant meetings, sharing playlists, and understanding your vision. He takes time capturing your style as a couple and translating your personality into the big day. He is also so kind, friendly, professional, and very well dressed! Don’t hesitate to hire him for your event. It took me a year to write this review but as you can see, it’s impossible to forget his work!!

    The best bilingual DJ in NYC!

    We cannot recommend Kenny enough - our wedding was an absolute sensation and topic of conversation for decades to come, and a large part of that is due to Kenny's dedication. From the very beginning, Kenny's professionalism, organization, and willingness to collaborate with us meant so much. First, contact me. We can schedule a consultation via Zoom / Teams / WhatsApp Video / FaceTime / Duo, in person at my Manhattan location or by phone call. If we're a good fit, we sign a contract, you make a deposit, and I lock in the date of your event. Then we plan together, using forms to help you collect information, forming a timeline for your event and organizing your vendors and venue. On the day of, we'll have prepared so you can have fun as I work.
Your unique event is all about you and your music tastes, and no past playlist would be the right fit. If we converse, and collaborate on a few short playlists (dancing and non-dancing, like cocktail hour / dinner music), I can get a feel for your style, and be ready to play to your crowd. Regarding genres, there are no rules, and no judgement. I respect your "Don't Play This" songs and will honor your "YOU HAVE TO PLAY THIS!" songs. If you allow select, trusted guests to make requests at the event, I'll be sure to play the right ones at the right time. It's worth repeating that you choose the vibe, it's your day!
In addition to the equipment listed next to the services to choose from, I bring professional, custom built DJ furniture. My equipment is insured, as am I.

It's possible, but not guaranteed, and additional charges vary.
I'm proud to MC your event, in a style that you feel is best. If you want a formal speaking voice, a hype MC or something in between, I'll be sure to read the room and honor your request. At minimum, I'll make announcements in English or Spanish, at the appropriate and indicated times. I'm bilingual, fluent, and understand cultural and grammatical subtleties in both languages (I'm not going to call Abuela "tu").
I bring backup audio gear, and several copies of the selected music for your big day to every venue I am booked at. In extreme situations (health events, transportation accident, etc.) I communicate with you to go over options ASAP. In my 20+ years of DJing, I am proud to say I have made every event I've been booked at. I've also built an extensive network, and am in touch with DJs that are ready, willing and able to serve as an emergency replacement.
I wear a suit. If you prefer dress shoes, formal shirt and tie, I'll be wearing that. If you think tailored t-shirt and luxury sneakers accompanies your vibe better, I'll have that on. (If you have other needs, let's talk!)
