    Don't hesitate to book this band!!!

    Don’t hesitate on this band. Rich was the easiest to work with, the most meticulous and organized vendor we had. He stayed in touch, answered all our questions, and really cared about my vision for my wedding. The party was fantastic, more than we could have dreamed. Everyone commented that New York Edge was the best band they’d heard at any wedding. Thank you Rich for your extreme professionalism and most of all for the fabulous music!

    Phenomenal!!!

    Rich and the band were phenomenal!!! Just the right mix of music to keep the entire room up and dancing. Book them in a second! Thanks for the best night ever!!!

    We had a blast!

    We couldn't have asked for a better day or party! New York Edge just crushed it! Rich’s professionalism and attention to detail made us feel so at ease during the whole planning process and he really knows how to keep the dance floor filled. The band is so talented and all our guests had nothing but great things to say about the music. We just can't say enough good things and we had a blast!

    An amazing time!!!

    Rich, you and the band were absolutely incredible and we had such an amazing time!!! Everyone was coming up to us and saying how awesome you all were and asking how we found you. You even managed to get the non dancers out on the dance floor! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

    Fantastic experience!

    When we first spoke to Rich I told him that all we really cared about was having a full dance floor and someone who could read the room and keep the crowd going and wow did he deliver! The dance floor was always packed, working with Rich was so easy, and we just loved how the band kept the energy going all night! Thank you for everything!

Our band size is scalable from 6 to 14 pieces.
Yes! We play continuous LIVE music. We will DJ music upon request.
Our repertoire is HUGE! As professional, full time, schooled musicians we know a TON of songs and we constantly learn new ones :) Check our repertoire page for artists and styles performed. If there's something special that you'd like to hear just ask… chances are we know it! We stay completely current and we bring new life to all the classics.
We own all our own professional, state of the art equipment. We own several different sound systems because we perform at so many different venues and we tailor our sound to fit location and number of guests. NO rental stuff… you know how everyone treats that rented car :)
Weddings are unique because wedding guests are usually mixed ages. Guests have the most fun when they dance! We offer a big mix of the best dance music to span the generations. All the songs we perform feel modern and fresh from classic oldies to current top 40.
we always strive to musically surprise and excite guests with our music selections and the way we structure our sets. We always read the room and respond to it; and we never perform the same exact same set twice :) We LOVE to keep each wedding unique, and by learning your personal tastes we include your uniqueness in the music and dancing.
Yes! As a professional vendor we are fully insured.
Yes! We MC your night: announcements, toasts, special dances, invites, or anything you may require. We also coordinate with your venue.
Yes! Soloists, duos, trios and quartets are the most popular options for ceremony and cocktail music. Styles include: classical, jazz, pop, and traditional ethnic/cultural selections.
We treat it like a Broadway show... We have under-studies all set "just in case." We've almost never used them, but as professionals its like insurance… you have it and hope you never need it.
Jazz! Because trained Jazz players combine expert skill and musicianship as well as expert flexibility and spontaneity. The ability to be flexible and go with the flow of the crowd is crucial to an events success and improv is at the very core of Jazz. With our strong roots and our passion for music we are proficient in all the many styles and specialties that go into making a wedding amazing.
Unless you your request otherwise, we dress in formal wear. We feel your wedding is a once in a lifetime special event and our dress should reflect that. However, like everyone, we have closets full of clothes, and if your vision for your special day calls for less formal attire, or even "musician-like" attire rest assured we have that too… after all we are musicians :)
Yes! We will travel to where ever your wedding is being held :) We routinely perform all over the metropolitan area and we are also very experienced in all the details and logistics of performing beyond the metropolitan area too.
