So you can expect our band to always come "dressed to impress," which means suits for the guys & dresses for the ladies! If you are throwing a more casual affair or have a different type of vibe in mind, we are happy to dress accordingly. Just let us know and we will gladly accommodate.
YES! Rick Express is happy to learn 3 special songs just for you! We just ask that you submit your song request to us at least 3 months prior to your event so that we have ample time to review the song, learn our parts, and schedule any rehearsals needed so that we can have your song all "ready to go" by the BIG DAY!
YES! Rick Express always wants to know what songs you love most so we can try to include as many of your favorites as possible into our sets! We will also be sure to include loads of our tried-and-true "dance-floor fillers" into the sets as well, to ensure that you and your guests enjoy TONS of non-stop dancing at your celebration!!!
Yes we do! The musicians of Rick Express are not only highly trained performers, but many are also outstanding jazz musicians. Whether you’d like classical or contemporary music for your ceremony, we can provide the perfect soundtrack. For cocktail hour, we can also perform smooth jazz, easy-listening soft rock, or even acoustic pop and R&B favorites to create the ideal atmosphere for your guests.
As is standard, Rick Express typically arrives for gear load in 2 hours prior to the start of your reception. Then we conduct our set-up and do a thorough sound check in the performance area during that 2 hour time frame, before your guests ever even enter the ballroom or tent, to ensure that we are 100% fully set and "show ready" when doors open!l
