Love is a wild thing and we believe that we were all created to love and be loved. We don’t mean that end-of-a-movie happily-ever-after-kind of love. What we’re talking about is the love that’s there at your worst. The love that celebrates the little things, and really really celebrates the big things – that is deep, raw, and lasts a lifetime. That’s the love we’re here for and the love we hope to leave traces of everywhere we go. We get to capture that love on display at every event.     We knew they were the one from the moment we met

    From the moment we first connected with 28 North Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Their communication style was exceptional, informative, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. On the day of our wedding, Sammy and Joel were a calming presence, ready to step in and solve any problems that came our way. The quality of their work is simply beautiful - they are such talented, genuine photographers who have a true passion for what they do. They even surprised us with a stunning wedding video that they had secretly shot and put together, knowing that we had not hired a videographer. It was such a wonderful gift. 28 North Photography are giving, kind-hearted people who are very well connected in the wedding industry - every vendor we worked with raved about them. We could not be happier with the memories they captured of our special day.

    Joel & Sammy made our wedding day!

    From the first interaction with Joel and Sammy, I just knew they were going to be the perfect photographers for our wedding. Joel and Sammy genuinely got to know not just my husband and I, but our families and friends. They both have such a radiant calm and positive spirit which is so critical on the wedding day. They captured such beautiful genuine moments, they are truly experts at their craft and it shows in their work. The photos they captured will be with us for a lifetime and it was the best decision we made was working with Joel and Sammy. They provided their support, guidance and insight leading up to the wedding and based on my Pinterest board style made me aware of new film photography add-on service they started to offer to capture film/ Vogue style photos and I am in awe over how the photos turned out.

    Wedding Photography

    Joel & Sammy from 28 North were incredibly amazing to work with. Ever since we met them during our engagement photos, we fell in love with their work and the people they were. They made us feel incredibly comfortable taking photos and just brought the fun energy. They were fantastic communicating everything we needed to do, so that our special day turned out perfectly. Their attitudes were genuine and professional it made us feel so glad and honored to have them a part of our day. We knew seeing their work through our research, it was a match made in heaven.     The best in the business

    28 North was absolutely incredible to work with. Joel and Sammy made us feel so comfortable. They quickly learned the names of family members and friends. Their communication skills made them entire process run so smoothly and the photos are amazing! They turned around the sneak peak in less than 24 hours and we have been looking at them ever since!

YES! We highly recommend looking at a full gallery of any photographer you are considering. It’s easy to post a few of the best photos online, but it’s another thing to be able to tell a complete wedding story in a beautiful and consistent way. Both a signed contract and a 50% retainer are required to secure your day. The remaining collection balance is due one month before the wedding. Simple as that!
We shoot on 3 Canon R5’s, which is currently the absolute best camera in existence for wedding photography (not to be dramatic or anything, but it’s true). We exclusively use top-of-the-line Canon brand-name lenses. Basically this means we have invested in the best gear for your best day.
Ah the question we’ve all been waiting for…We guarantee the delivery of your full online gallery within 3 weeks (yes we said weeks)! This is much faster than industry standards (just sayin!) On average we deliver 800-1000 unique photos from your day. Every wedding is different which is why we don’t have a set number of photos delivered.
C’mon, of course we do. We love to travel and have photographed all over the world. We’re the kind of people who are fine sleeping in grandpa’s spare bedroom, borrowing a car to get around and eating with your second cousins if it means we get to come and capture your wedding! We’d like to think we’re pretty low maintenance and travel rates these days aren’t so bad.
Would anyone really say no to this?! We are so happy to have you share your wedding photos with anyone and everyone (a little photo cred is always nice too). Our galleries allow you to download individual photos or all of them at once in full resolution. You can share these or have them printed anywhere, or order professional quality prints directly from your gallery.
Nope! We’ve been doing this a long time and we got you covered. We will document your day in a way that is entirely unique to you. We love getting to tell a different story with every wedding we photograph. That being said, we do get all the important stuff!
