Choosing Christy Clark Photography to capture our wedding day was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! My new husband and I have been using their photography services for over 6 years and they never disappoint. They make you feel 100% comfortable in front of the camera from the moment the photoshoot begins. They have found the perfect balance of professional and fun, which is extremely important to catch the documentary style shots that they so effortlessly do. You feel so relaxed around them, like if you’re just hanging out with old friends. Christy and Alex each have this beautifully creative eye that makes for incredible pictures and special life long memories. She made us feel like we were her only clients and was always available when we had questions or needed advice. On the day of the wedding, her and Alex’s work was phenomenal - they captured every moment we wanted without us having to think about it, and the photos feel so personalized to our love story. The whole experience felt effortless, and honestly, working with them was just fun. We loved having Christy and Alex capture our special day. They were very thorough and helpful during the entire process making sure they understood us as people and our vision. There was great communication and we had multiple calls to go over timelines, expectations, ideas… My husband has worked alongside them previously and had no doubt that he would want them to be the ones to capture these precious memories. I followed them on instagram for years and loved the simple beauty of the moments they captured but also their creativity. Working with them wedding day was a breeze! They followed our lead but also provided cues and direction. I absolutely hate taking pictures but my husband lives for the drama. So they did a wonderful job balancing our personalities and comfort levels. Our friends and family also felt comfortable and had a great time during portraits. They were so amazing with the kiddos! Christy was so great with my sisters and helping them manage my dress and Alex was great with suggesting really fun poses and kept everything fun. Now for the photos…. OBSESSED. I cannot even express how happy we were with the photos. They look amazing, which is a testament of how talented they are. But I was even more impressed with how they captured our day. The photos are such an honest representation of our experience that we were transported back to that day going through the gallery: the colors and magic of the day; the love of our family and friends; the beautiful moments we shared as a couple; and the loads of fun we had at the end of the night. There are no words to state how much that means to us. There are also many moments that surprised us looking through the photos. Like seeing our first kiss at the end of the ceremony, little fun ideas during couples portraits, and the shots of our details!!! I especially appreciated all the pictures of us and our loved ones throughout the day that we didn’t plan but will cherish forever. Weddings can be a lot to take in with all the stress of planning and the emotions of the day. We are so grateful to have had such a smooth experience. We truly appreciate people like Christy and Alex who honored the things that were so important to us and lent their talents to capture this amazing day.
