We’ll effortlessly increase the energy throughout the day with curated music selections and timelines, setting the scene for the dance party you’ve always imagined by playing the right songs at the right time. Whether your dream venue is hosting your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception inside, outside, or a combination of separate rooms, we’ll have them all covered on your special day, all while staying in perfect sync with all of your vendors.

Full spectrum music. From DJs, to ceremony musicians, to live DJ/Musician fusion, we are truly all about the music. Enjoy a live violin and cello rendition of your dream song while walking down the aisle. For dinner or cocktail, experience your own personal live sax or piano solo performances. When it’s time to dance, enjoy the non-stop music of a DJ partnered with the energy of a live drummer or electric guitar. Our wedding would not have been the same without DJ Jay Murch and onthebeatfx! He was truly incredible from start to finish! He kept the energy up all night and knew exactly how to read the crowd—every song flowed perfectly, and the dance floor was packed the entire time. He was professional, fun, and so easy to work with. From our first conversation, he really listened to what we wanted and tailored the music to fit us perfectly. The transitions were seamless, the sound quality was amazing, and he added such a great vibe to the entire evening. So many of our guests told us it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding, and that’s all thanks to Jay! If you want your reception to be unforgettable, he’s the one to make it happen. We cannot recommend him highly enough! We love you Jay!

Jay was hands-down one of the best parts of our wedding! A friend recommended Jay to us, and he did not disappoint!! Starting from our first virtual introduction, I knew we had made the right choice for our DJ. Jay took the time to learn about me and my spouse in order to curate the perfect selection of music for the night. The app we used to pick our songs, arrange the timeline, and communicate our preferences was user friendly and made the planning process as smooth as possible. In addition to having the best DJ on our wedding day, we also had a saxophonist and uplighting as part of our package. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the music was, including the saxophone solos, and how incredible the energy was on the dance floor. I would HIGHLY recommend Jay to anyone looking for a DJ who takes the time to understand your vision and puts that into action. Your dance floor is guaranteed to be a party all night long!!

DJ Jay and his team were so phenomenal all leading up to our wedding day and made the reception dance floor everything we dreamed it would be!! Their planning app made the whole process seamless and was a huge help on the wedding day because every song/announcement/ order of events was exactly how we wanted it. Jay’s ear as a DJ is fantastic and his mixing one song into the next was so fun and surprising and kept everyone dancing and engaged. The icing on the cake is his energy- so friendly and fun and overall was a huge part of our perfect joyful day!!

Yes, we can bring and build multiple audio systems for a single event. Mics for your officiant and live musician(s) are offered as well.

Yes, we are fully insured through RVNA with a 1 million dollar policy per occurrence.

We mix songs together to avoid dead-air (spaces between songs) and to keep the energy consistent on the dance floor. Like DJs you've seen at the bar or club. We'll even sometimes blend your favorite songs together to make an old favorite fresh and new! We're also very diverse in the music we can DJ. In a single party, we've played everything from Trap to Country music. We're here to have fun!

This varies based on service, however, on average we're 3.5 hours early for set-up.

Dance floor lighting is always included. We can also provide up-lighting, bistro lighting, and photo booths.

We have an app that organizes all your music requests!

Most definitely. Our DJs are musicians and our full-time musicians give us access to a large network of professional performers and artists across the spectrum. We'll either have ready or effortlessly find the vibe you're looking for.

DJs with the perfect mix, live musicians, or a combination of both are available for your ceremony and cocktail reception.

Capture incredible moments with your guests using the 360 Photo Booth or the Touch Screen Photo Booth. Instantly send captures directly to your phone, email, or text. At the end of the night, using your included personal digital photo album, view every memory that was captured.

If allowed by the venue, we like to arrive 3 hours before the event. Giving us plenty time to be on-time for your day.

We like to party. So we make sure we listen to your requests, read the room, and build up the energy throughout the day.

We travel to any of the following states: New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware.
