What It Looks Like When the DJ Gets It

Music has always been my way of connecting with people. I’ve spent years DJing weddings and private events where the right song changes the whole room. I love working with couples who care about how their night feels and want their guests to feel included and alive in the moment. I do this because there is nothing better than seeing a room full of people celebrating together to music that feels like it was made for them.

I do more than just show up and play songs. I take the time to learn what feels right for you and your guests so the night has its own flow. I work with your planner and vendors so everything runs smooth without you having to think about it. When the party starts I am in it with you, dancing behind the booth, singing along, and reading the room so every shift in energy feels natural and keeps people on the floor.

August 2026 NYC Wedding
Peter DJ'ed our wedding this past August 2026 in NYC and our guests are still talking about the music! We were blown away by Peter's ability to mesh our music tastes across the many generations of our guests. Aside from the actual talent, Peter is kind and funny, a pleasure to work with!

Energetic, fun and genuine to us
From our first conversation, DJ Peter Piper was fun, open and honest about what he could bring to our wedding. He really listened to what we wanted and stayed responsive throughout the planning process. During the planning process, we threw some curveballs at him, including have him dj the offsite afterparty. On the day of, Peter brought so much energy and made great decisions about song selection for each moment of the celebration. He has an impressive range of music knowledge across generations and genres, which made all our guests feel included on the dance floor. What impressed us most was his willingness to go the extra mile—including the afterparty (a total of 8 hours of DJing..) He even brought his partner to help ensure everything ran smoothly. We didn't want a typical wedding DJ experience, and Peter absolutely delivered that, bringing a genuine party atmosphere to our day.

Highly recommend! Hire Pete!
DJ Peter Piper was fantastic and such a perfect fit for our wedding day. I spoke to quite a few DJs before choosing Pete, but for whatever reason from our first intro call I just got a great vibe and knew we had to go with him. He did an excellent job incorporating a wide variety of genres from indie rock cocktail hour to pop, hip hop and dance for reception, and some mellow easy listening and classic type songs for background music during dinner. And when we realized we had some space during the final lead up to our date he was even able to hook us up with a photobooth on short notice, as well. Hire Pete!!!

Fun, Energetic Party - All Thanks to Peter!
We booked DJ Peter Piper for our wedding reception last summer and I think it's the best decision we made. From our first meeting, we were put instantly at ease by his level of organization and flexibility. From acting as an emcee during dinner and toasts to keeping the dance floor lit all night long, we were absolutely blown away by his high energy and attention to detail on the day. Thank you, Peter!

DJ Peter Piper Rocks!
Simply put, DJ Peter Piper rocks. We are still riding the high from our wedding weekend — and Peter played such a pivotal role in why that was the case. He brought the beats and the energy, he understood the vibe we were going for and we instantly trusted him. He kept the party going all night — and read the room so adeptly to keep the hora going early in the evening! Perhaps most importantly, Peter is deeply kind. His thoughtfulness and care shined through every interaction we had with him. We cannot recommend him enough!!
