About this venue
Blooming Hill Farm is a farm-to-table wedding venue in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. For over 30 years, our family-owned farm has grown the organic produce that inspires the fresh, seasonal menus served at every celebration. Couples love the natural beauty: wildflower fields, rolling hills, cozy fire pits, a timeless green barn, and our premium sailcloth tent overlooking the farm. Indoor and outdoor spaces flow easily, creating a relaxed, idyllic atmosphere for you and your guests. The Barn
Have your cocktail hour in our Farmer's Market bursting with seasonal florals, farm-fresh flavors, and rustic charm.
Filled weekly with hyper-seasonal florals and plants from the farm, the barn is a vibrant, walk-in ready space perfect for cocktail hours or intimate receptions. Guests can grab a drink at the beautiful wooden bar or mingle near the long harvest table laden with cheese, charcuterie, crudité, farm pickles, and house-made dips. The bright, airy main room flows seamlessly into the secluded backyard, providing a storybook hidden escape for you and your guests.

The Tent
Our Sailcloth Tent is the perfect setting for your outdoor reception.
Our permanent reception tent is situated on a wooden platform beside a stream and fields of wildflowers, offering ample space for up to 200 guests. Enjoy picturesque views of rolling hills while your loved ones savor a farm-to-table meal and dance the night away. The temperature-controlled tent features handmade wooden bars, farm tables, vintage wooden chairs, and twinkly Edison bulb bistro lighting, while a cozy fire pit outside invites guests to enjoy s'mores under the stars.

Featuring floor to ceiling windows and six french double doors, the restaurant calls to mind a glass greenhouse with warm wooden fixtures and over a hundred potted plants. Perfect for intimate receptions and elopement dinners, or as an alternative cocktail hour, the restaurant can also host engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and showers.

Dream Wedding Venue
I truly cannot imagine a better experience with a venue. Kate and the rest of the team were such pros, so thoughtful and kind, and made the planning process fun and easy. The food is amazing, so much better than standard wedding food and we had a lot of compliments from guests. The venue is beautiful, the people are wonderful, and we had a beautiful wedding that felt perfect for us. Could not recommend more.

From our first conversation with Kate Bress, we knew Blooming Hill Farm was the 10000% right choice for our wedding. She communicated clearly throughout the planning process, understood our vision, helped us craft a vision when we didn't have one, and made us feel supported at every step. Kate is a golden human who KNOWS what she is doing, and she became a real friend in this journey; we're grateful to have worked with someone who genuinely got us. We were alway speaking the same language. I was so impressed and obsessed with her!!! 10/10 PRO and incredible human who made me loveeee the wedding planning process and am honestly so sad that it is over. On our wedding day, the entire staff executed everything flawlessly—the venue was gorgeous and spacious, the vibe felt organic but so thoughtfully orchestrated. We were able to truly relax and enjoy ourselves because the team works like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was so nice on top of being amazing at what they do. Give this place an award - an EGOT if you will!!!! The most INCREDIBLE place, people, food, everything. Book it book it book it do it I loved my time working with them!!!!!

Perfect venue
Blooming Hill Farm was the first and only venue we looked at for our wedding, and we couldn't have made a better choice. We had the pleasure of working with Caitlin and Kate throughout our planning process, and both were absolutely incredible to work with. They made our wedding planning go so smoothly, and we were amazed by the attention to detail they brought to all our planning calls. They were able to provide so much guidance and had such great recommendations for local vendors. When the weather forecast started looking rainy the week of, Kate was so comforting - walking us through the rain plan, keeping us in the loop on all rain plan decisions, and keeping everyone's spirits high. Even with the rain on our wedding day, the venue was somehow even more beautiful. Getting to hear the birds chirping and rain falling throughout the ceremony was absolute magic, and the staff was so quick with umbrellas on hand that no one had to worry about getting wet. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible - all our guests agreed that it was the best meal they've ever had at a wedding, and people were able to try everything since they offer family style dinners. We did bring a few rentals in, and Kate coordinated with those vendors as well as our band and photographer so that we hardly had any logistics to worry about during the wedding weekend. We truly cannot say enough positive things about BHF, Kate, and the whole team - and we're so happy that we can keep coming back for meals at the restaurant!!

Great venue, great value, a great time!
My husband and I got married at BHF in 2024. They made the process so seamless, they provide almost everything you need and for what they don’t have, they help you coordinate extremely well. Most importantly, we just had the best wedding! The atmosphere was dreamy, the food is delicious, and if you’re a cat lover like myself, this place can’t be beat as there are friendly farm cats about the property! Ourselves, our friends, and our family all had a wonderful time! We still have friends who talk about how much they loved our wedding and BHF! Highly recommend BHF to any couple looking for dreamy magical farm vibes and coordination built in to help manage the process and stress that comes along with wedding planning.

Blooming Hill Farm - A , Five Stars, No Notes
Basically everyone I have seen since the wedding who was there has privately told me it was the best wedding they've been to. We picked Blooming Hill because of the food and the location, but the best part may have been the staff. They run a tight ship. Everything went smoothly, everyone was a pro, and we always felt we were in good hands. And if there were any issues, I never heard about it, which is exactly how I would want it at my wedding. Our main point of contact Jordan was a rock star. I know you kind of have to say your wedding was the best day of your life but in our case it really was!
