City Winery offers the romance and unique style of a rustic winery wedding with the ease of a full-service wedding venue, located on the outskirts of the small village of Montgomery, NY, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Wallkill River with the Shawangunk Mountains in the distance, and near numerous art and architecture attractions like the Storm King Art Center, Dia Beacon, and Bannerman Castle. With the ability to host everything from a small intimate rehearsal dinner to an elaborate wedding for up to 350 guests, our goal is to help you create everlasting memories. Enjoy exclusive access to all of City Winery Hudson Valley! For larger parties and events, a full venue buyout will allow you to host over 1,000 people comfortably on our 22-acre property, overlooking the Wallkill River and a stunning waterfall. Spend time on our multi-level patios, then head to the Barrel Room and Wine Bar, and finish off your experience in our largest space or Private dining, The Falls Room or The Gallery. Our Restaurant, Gallery, Boiler Room Bar, Patio, and Lower Patio can be used separately, or in conjunction with our Falls Room (main space) for weddings and much more. Please note there is an additional buyout fee for the exclusive use of the property spaces.

Vineyard Package
For $200 per guest, the Vineyard package includes a selection of four tray passed hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour, a two-course seated dinner comprised of one first course and two entrees + silent vegetarian option, as well as the Chef’s selected assorted mini desserts. Our beer & wine bar counts with four City Winery wines (one white, one red, rose, cava) and three craft beers.

Waterfall Package
For $230 per person, the Waterfall package includes one cocktail station and a selection of six tray passed hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour, a two-course seated dinner comprised of one first course and two entrees + silent vegetarian option, as well as the Chef’s selected assorted mini desserts. The five-hour open bar offers four City Winery wines (one white, one red, rose, cava), three craft beers, and the City Winery Classic Liquor Package.

Mill Deluxe Package

The five-hour open bar offers the City Winery Reserve Liquor Package.

Our guests were gushing about this place
We had an amazing time working with City Winery Hudson Valley. Lerika was a fabulous event manager and was incredibly responsive to every question we had no matter how silly. We picked CWHV because of the vintage industrial feel and how all-inclusive so much of it was. During our search we quickly realized a lot of places had no many add on costs and CWHV was up-front about the majority of their costs. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the place was and how good the food was. We loved the built in sound system as they regularly do concerts there. It was also amazing to have the bridal suite and a room for my now husband to stay in and get ready on the day. Saves a lot of time being on site already! I think the only challenge was that a lot of the spaces can be reserved by others almost up until the day-of. They won't have another wedding but they could have someone reserve the boiler bar and so you don't really have a promised space to wait for the ceremony or to keep your things until like the week before if nobody has reserved those spaces. The bridal suite is available either until 5pm or for the night if you've booked it for the wedding night, but it was chilly on our day and we were glad we could wait in the boiler bar/green room before the ceremony rather than having to walk across the parking lot right before. My only other small issue was the wait between salads and entrees. All guests choose their entrée in advance so I thought that process could have been quicker. They said we were ahead of schedule so they were waiting to catch up to the timeline which I didn't think made sense because a lot of people started to eat the cookies we had for dessert during the extended wait. I wished they had just gone with the flow regardless of the timeline. Despite those small things, I would definitely recommend this place, especially in the fall!!! The colors are beautiful with the leaves and there are so many cool spots to take photos with the river, the trees, the brick exterior, and the wine barrels and waterfall in the courtyard.

One reason we chose City Winery was they are an all inclusive venue. They provide everything, set up and take down. All I had to do was drop things off and pick things up afterwards. They truly were such a big help. The other reason we chose City Winery was because it is the most stunning venue ever. The industrial/winery theme was exactly what my husband and I were looking for on our wedding day. We had our ceremony by the water, and our cocktail hour in the Courtyard. We got so many compliments on the beauty of the venue and how great all the food was. We could go on and on about all the great things City Winery has to offer. Definitely the best choice to choose them as your wedding venue.

I cant even put into words how perfect our day was. From the day we booked our venue to our wedding day, working with City Winery was so seamless. Specifically Lerika was SO responsive, kind, attentive, and accommodating. My type A personality loved her responding to all my crazy emails in less than 1 day! The day of, we were beyond impressed with all of CWs teams professionalism and attention to detail. A few photos below outline how picture perfect our day was. It was beyond what we imagined, and cant wait to go back to celebrate many anniversaries to come!

The entire CWHV team approached our special day with such positivity and joy, which made all the difference. The quality of their work was truly elevated and experienced, providing an exceptional value that exceeded our expectations. We are obsessed with our venue and every person that had a hand in making our wedding day so special.
