Simply elegant, clean slate for any vision, a Hudson Valley treasure
Light, airy and serene, the River Room features floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning views of the river and access to alfresco decks and terraces, all with the same lovely views. Designed by internationally renowned designer Tony Chi, it is furnished in a palette of cream, mushroom and sage as a neutral background for your wedding décor. This spacious banquet space can accommodate up to 210 for dinner and dancing.

Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers, our ceremony garden provides a peaceful and serene setting for exchanging vows. The stunning background of the Hudson Highlands creates a truly unforgettable experience for you and your guests. Constructed of interwoven bittersweet vines, the pergola can be left natural or decorated with flowers and greenery. With the Hudson River and surrounding Highlands as backdrops, the north-westerly facing garden frequently has unforgettable sunsets.

Designed by Sharon Davis Design Studio, the space is fresh and uplifting, and accommodates over 200 people for cocktails. With glass all around, the building brings the outdoor greenery in and allows for a lovely visual flow from the Ceremony Garden all the way through to the River Room.

The Windgate Room is an intimate 832-square-foot venue for up to 72 guests, perfect for smaller weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, or post-wedding brunches. With French doors opening to a garden-edged terrace and a deck overlooking the Hudson Highlands, it offers stunning indoor-outdoor flexibility. Enjoy a seasonal tented patio (May–October), indoor sound system, and private restrooms for a seamless celebration experience.

September Wedding at The Garrison
The Garrison was the perfect choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, the team led by Annie was incredibly reliable, dependable, and responsive. They attended to every detail, ensuring the night ran seamlessly without a single hiccup. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an organic, natural light-filled space that felt warm and open. The staff went above and beyond to make us and our guests feel welcome, even accommodating my gluten-free meal requests. I would recommend The Garrison 10/10 to any couple looking for a stunning, stress-free wedding experience.
Have your Wedding at the Garrison!
We got married at the Garrison on 9/5/2025. We could not imagine having a wedding anywhere else, everything from top to bottom was phenomenal. The professionalism and attentiveness from the staff on the day of our wedding was unmatched, they were extremely accommodating and treated us like royalty! The staff was exceptional in setting everything up and preparing everything for us, and made sure everything went completely smoothly. The food was spectacular! The view was spectacular! Your guests will remember it. It was so incredibly easy working with everyone here and we would recommend them over any Hudson Valley venue! Thanks again to the Garrison for making our wedding so special and memorable
Highly recommend the Garrison!
Bridget and the whole team at the Garrison were incredibly professional and helpful with our wedding process. They answered every question, no matter how small, and helped make our day so special. We had to change to our rain plan the day before, and they made it so easy because we had talked through all of our options well in advance. We had the best day we could have asked for. The whole staff was so kind and went above and beyond to make sure our guests and families had a great time. I highly recommend the Garrison and the team there!
