Simply elegant, clean slate for any vision, a Hudson Valley treasure
Light, airy and serene, the River Room features floor-to-ceiling windows for stunning views of the river and access to alfresco decks and terraces, all with the same lovely views. Designed by internationally renowned designer Tony Chi, it is furnished in a palette of cream, mushroom and sage as a neutral background for your wedding décor. This spacious banquet space can accommodate up to 210 for dinner and dancing.

Surrounded by lush greenery and blooming flowers, our ceremony garden provides a peaceful and serene setting for exchanging vows. The stunning background of the Hudson Highlands creates a truly unforgettable experience for you and your guests. Constructed of interwoven bittersweet vines, the pergola can be left natural or decorated with flowers and greenery. With the Hudson River and surrounding Highlands as backdrops, the north-westerly facing garden frequently has unforgettable sunsets.

Hudson Room

Connected to the River Room by a glass hallway, and situated between the Ceremony Garden and the River Room, the Hudson Room is ideal for post-ceremony cocktail receptions. Designed by Sharon Davis Design Studio, the space is fresh and uplifting, and accommodates over 200 people for cocktails. With glass all around, the building brings the outdoor greenery in and allows for a lovely visual flow from the Ceremony Garden all the way through to the River Room.

The Windgate Room is an intimate 832-square-foot venue for up to 72 guests, perfect for smaller weddings, showers, rehearsal dinners, or post-wedding brunches. With French doors opening to a garden-edged terrace and a deck overlooking the Hudson Highlands, it offers stunning indoor-outdoor flexibility. Enjoy a seasonal tented patio (May–October), indoor sound system, and private restrooms for a seamless celebration experience.

Absolute perfection from start to finish!
Choosing The Garrison as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made. The setting is stunning, but it is the team and the service that truly set this place apart. On our wedding day, the weather didn't exactly cooperate, and we had to pivot due to rain. The team at The Garrison didn't miss a beat. They seamlessly rearranged our plans and set up a beautiful indoor ceremony that felt just as intimate, romantic, and breathtaking as we had always dreamed. Their ability to handle the change of plans so effortlessly completely took the stress off of our shoulders. Our guests are still raving about the day, and we have received countless compliments on how incredible the food was. From the cocktail hour to the main course, everything was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. What really blew us away, though, was how attentive the staff was to us as a couple. They supported us throughout the entire course of the day, making sure we were actually fed, hydrated, and completely taken care of at every transition. We felt so deeply supported and cared for from the moment we arrived until the last dance. If you want a venue that offers top tier hospitality, delicious cuisine, and a team that will flawlessly handle whatever the day throws at you, look no further than The Garrison!

The perfect wedding venue
We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this venue and the entire team. Our wedding day was genuinely the best day of our lives, and that is largely thanks to Annie, Fatmira, and everyone who worked so hard behind the scenes. From the moment the day began, they made everything feel seamless and stress-free. Annie and Fatmira went above and beyond to ensure every detail was handled, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy each moment. Their professionalism, kindness, and calm energy made such a difference. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. The views were breathtaking and created the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Both we and our immediate families stayed at the Inn on-site, and the rooms were perfect, comfortable, clean, and such a special part of the overall experience. Our guests also loved staying in the Inn rooms. The bridal suite was perfect for getting ready; it was spacious, beautiful, and a relaxing place to spend the morning with my bridesmaids. We have received countless compliments from our guests not only about the gorgeous venue, but also about the incredible food and the outstanding service. Everything truly exceeded our expectations. We are forever grateful for the care, effort, and heart that went into making our wedding day so special. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with an organic, natural light-filled space that felt warm and open.
