    Timeless, honest, and profoundly beautiful

    We weren't looking for wedding photos; we were looking for tangible memories. The team at Darkroom Photography Collective delivered just that. Our wedding was at the New York Botanical Garden, and their approach felt less like photography and more like fine-art documentation. The final images are so much more than pretty pictures—they have a weight and a permanence to them. They managed to capture the quiet, unguarded moments between the bigger events: a shared glance with my father before walking down the aisle, the way the late afternoon light hit the conservatory glass during our vows. The composition is intentional, the editing is timeless, and the emotion is completely honest. It’s an investment in art that we happen to be the subjects of.

Yes! We can provide a COI if requested by your venue.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. We also provide retouching for blemish removal, teeth whitening, and background adjustment to provide the best photos possible!
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. Please keep in mind this estimate varies depending on the package, number of guests, venue, and other factors. We provide quality over quantity.
Turnaround time varies, but most couples receive their full gallery about 8 weeks after the wedding. Typically, sneak peeks can be expected within 72 hours.
For most cases, 2 photographers are highly recommended, and depending on the size of your wedding along with other variables we may also bring an assistant (we don't charge extra for assistants).
Typically, couples book us about 13 months before their wedding date. Since we are very detail-oriented, we do not accept more than 3 weddings each month and encourage couples to reach out as soon as possible about availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
