Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. From our very first email exchange to the moment we received our photos, every step of working with Rich was an incredible experience. He always responded quickly, answered every question with patience, and offered thoughtful suggestions I hadn’t even considered. His preparation before the wedding gave us confidence that everything would run smoothly, and it truly did. Richard was exceptionally professional, respectful, kind, and understanding. On our wedding day, he brought a sense of calm amid the chaos. He blended seamlessly into the flow of events—always present when needed, but never intrusive—and coordinated effortlessly with our families, bridal party, and other vendors. He was also incredibly organized with the shots we needed, keeping us on track without ever making us feel rushed. Richard delivered our full gallery exactly one month after our wedding and just before Thanksgiving so we could share the photos with our families over the holiday. It meant so much to us and we were thrilled to receive our pictures so quickly. Looking through the gallery felt like reliving the entire day, moment by moment. He captured the vibe and essence of our wedding perfectly. I especially appreciated his ideas and direction, and his artistic eye genuinely blew us away. He noticed angles, lighting, and emotional moments, capturing everything from the big highlights to the smallest in-between moments. The pictures he took of us, our families, and our venue were stunning—so much so that multiple friends texted us saying the photos looked like they belonged in Vogue. That is entirely to Richard’s credit. Choosing Richard as our wedding photographer was, without question, one of the best decisions I made in the entire wedding process. Photos that Tell a Story
We had the absolute joy of having Richard capture our wedding chapter yesterday (10.04.2025)! When we first met him, for our engagement shoot, we knew we were making the best choice! His kind, warm & funny personality allowed two people who were very camera-shy/awkward to come out of their shells & created the most beautiful photos we have ever seen. On our wedding day, we were confident that he would make everyone in our wedding party & family feel the same way. I speak for everyone, literally, when I say THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your photos will forever be a staple in our lives & the family. Your photos are not just incredibly shot…they tell a story. We can look at them and relive this night forever. I cannot wait to connect again for the next BIG life moments. Richard is the VIBE! I can't give enough stars! From the unexpectedly windy engagement shoot, to the magic of the 1st look, to the moody magazine worthy portraits, to capturing the best moments all night..he adapted and integrated himself into our day and our family with ease. He blended into the background and truly felt like he was part of the party! Richard is a true professional! He comes off super relaxed and casually says he "has some ideas" and then he turns on the magic. He plays with the lighting and the surroundings and the weather and adapts any moment and any backdrop into a canvas for his art. I really could go on for paragraphs over how spectacular he was to work with, and it brings tears to my eyes to write this after I relive our wedding day in each and every photograph he took that day.
