    My fiancé and I were very close to not hiring a DJ for our wedding, until we were recommended Lucas, and now I can't imagine how we could have had our party without him! He was fun, easy to work with, and most importantly played the music we wanted to hear! He curated the vibes perfectly of every segment of our wedding from the ceremony to reception, and we had so many guests tell us he was the best DJ they'd ever experienced at a wedding! I danced all night and that was my goal! Can't recommend him enough

    Lucas knows his stuff but also makes a point to know your stuff just as well. He sees the big picture of your wedding day and is beyond generous with his knowledge. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. We had several video calls and he was always calm and confident as we dished him all the stress we could manage. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. It was a perfect day beyond my wildest expectations, and Lucas Walters was a huge part of that.

    Lucas took our wedding reception to a whole different level with his DJ skills and selections! His friendly and calm demeanor made communication very easy and stress-free. We also felt that he genuinely cared about and understood our vision, and then executed it perfectly. The highest compliment is that countless wedding guests told us during/after the reception that Lucas was "the best DJ they've ever heard at a wedding" -- we couldn't agree more. Do yourself and your guests a favor, book Lucas.

    We knew we needed to hire Lucas after our first call with him. He immediately understood the disco-funk music style we wanted at our wedding and his enthusiastic energy was contagious. I had told a friend of mine in the NYC music scene that we hired Lucas and he said that he is the best and we were in good hands. He was absolutely right. Lucas knows how to control the dance floor! Each song blended into the next so smoothly. People were avoiding going to the bathroom and barely anyone touched our dessert because they didn't want to stop dancing. Everyone was feeling the music, from our 11-year-old cousin to our 80-year-old aunts. People were pulling out some impressive moves that I'm not sure they knew they had. I even crowd surfed! Definitely hire Lucas if you want your wedding to be an epic dance party. You won't regret it.
