Jesse and Justin have been playing music together since they met performing in a band at Disneyland in 2001. After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley. One thing they love about playing music for weddings is the variety that is required of them. Every gig is different and they all happen on one of the happiest days of the clients' lives!
Jesse and Justin pride themselves in their broad repertoire of styles from classical, to pop, to folk, to jazz. Between the two of them they play piano, guitar, banjo, sax, clarinet, flute, ukulele., and Justin is a great singer. Justin also loves stepping into the DJ/MC role for receptions, so they can provide music for the whole day. Also, their clients don't have to pay or deal with an agency. This makes them able to provide direct communication and lower pricing to all their couples.

For the Best Vibe for a Magical Evening
My partner & I went back and forth about having a band or a DJ for our wedding. So when we encountered Skylark with instrumental music for cocktail hour followed by DJ services through dinner & the after party it was the perfect solution! Throughout everything, the guys were great. Justin was super helpful in offering suggestions and guiding us on how things would best flow throughout the night. They were super flexible and accommodating when our outdoor wedding had to be moved indoors last minute due to weather. We had a great night and got so many compliments from guest about what an awesome group we found for music. We can not thank Justin, Jesse, & Rich enough for being a part of our magical wedding!

Amazing DJ!
Justin was such a pleasure to work with, and I am so glad we found him! He was very informative and helpful in giving us the rundown of what to expect. We were able to give him our own playlist, and he was so good at making adjustments on the fly and keeping the momentum going. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, he and his partner played beautifully, and we got so many compliments about them. During the reception, he brought out a saxophone!!! It was such a cool and unique experience for our guests and us, and everyone absolutely LOVED it. I can't express enough how perfect he made our day!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with our wedding music with Skylark from start to finish. Justin and Jesse played live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and Justin DJ’d our reception. Justin was great at communicating with us both before the wedding and throughout the reception, which made everything feel easy and well organized and was wonderful to work with. It made everything feel seamless and stress-free and we knew everything was under control. Justin has a great attention to detail. We had a smaller wedding of about 50 people, and Justin did an amazing job keeping the energy up all night. He gave helpful suggestions during the reception that kept things flowing smoothly and made the night even more fun. We would absolutely recommend them!

Absolutely wonderful! It was an absolute joy to have them. The mixture of live music and dj was a great way to elevate our wedding and bring something extra to the table.
