I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Communications. I am a certified Wedding and Event Planner. My areas of expertise include event planning on small and large scales, including but not limited to Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. and Corporate Events. Yvonne Caole-Sousa launched UME in 2015 after years of management in the hospitality industry. Her career was launched while finishing her degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management at the University of Johnson & Wales. Following, she gained knowledge and experienced throughout her trade as a Banquet Manager, Food and Beverage Director and Social Catering Sales Manager for a Luxury Boutique hotel and a Golf Resort. Soon she realized working for a venue was limited and she craved more. With the support of past clients, UME was launched and has been growing ever since!
