Hiring Chrissie Sue was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding at the Boston Harbor Hotel. I genuinely cannot imagine going through the planning process without her. From day one, she was incredibly professional, organized, creative, calming, and FUN to work with. I was a stressed and overwhelmed bride, constantly emailing with random questions and overthinking every little detail, and she handled all of it with so much patience and kindness. Every single call with her left me feeling calmer, more excited, and reassured that everything was under control! What made Chrissie Sue so special was how well she understood our vision. We would describe the vibe we wanted, and then every recommendation she gave us fit it perfectly. From vendors, to design ideas, to timelines, to little details we never would have thought of ourselves — every suggestion was spot on. She thought of ideas we never would’ve thought of! She worked so closely with all of our vendors to make sure every detail was exactly what we wanted, whether it was flowers, decor, transportation, entertainment, or overall flow for the weekend. I loved how closely she was in communication with all of our vendors! She also went above and beyond in ways I still cannot get over. She helped design our dance floor monogram, found shawls for guests at the last minute when the weather turned cold, reminded bridesmaids to cut hanger straps off their dresses, had special gluten free appetizers waiting for me before I entered the cocktail hour to make sure I could eat, and thought through every tiny detail that made the weekend feel seamless and elevated. Nothing was ever overlooked! The actual wedding weekend was unbelievably smooth because of her. I was able to fully relax and enjoy every moment because I knew Chrissie Sue had everything handled. She coordinated all of the vendors flawlessly, kept everything on schedule, solved problems before we even knew about them, and made the entire weekend feel effortless. When we finally saw the ballroom fully set up, it honestly felt surreal — she brought our vision to life even better than we imagined. Beyond all of that, she became someone I genuinely looked forward to talking to throughout the process. By the end of the year, it felt like planning with a friend. I honestly miss talking to her every day! If you are considering hiring Events by Chrissie Sue, do it immediately!!! She is truly amazing and was invaluable to us and our families throughout the entire process.

The Best Wedding Decision We Made
Chrissie Sue was one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. From the start of planning all the way through our wedding day, she was there every step of the way guiding us, supporting us, and helping bring our vision to life beyond what we imagined. Planning a wedding can be overwhelming, but Chrissie Sue made the entire process feel organized and seamless. She always knew what needed to happen, kept everything on track, and made sure every detail was handled at the right time. Her industry knowledge, experience, and vendor connections were invaluable. She connected us with incredible photographers, content creators, stationery vendors, DJs, florists, and more — and every recommendation was amazing. Having someone so respected and experienced in the industry made such a difference throughout planning. Most importantly, our wedding day itself was absolutely flawless. I didn’t have to answer a single question, worry about logistics, or lift a finger the entire day. Chrissie Sue handled everything behind the scenes so perfectly that I was truly able to just enjoy the best day of my life completely stress-free. We are endlessly grateful for everything she did and truly cannot recommend her enough.

Amazing Experience
Events by Chrissie Sue was amazing! Hiring Chrissie Sue Coutu, owner of Events by Chrissie Sue, to help me plan my only daughter’s wedding was the best decision I made. Chrissie Sue was a joy to work with over the past year. Her energy, professionalism, creativity and incredible fountain of knowledge were invaluable to my daughter and me. We shared our vision with Chrissie Sue at our first meeting and she ran with it. When we got crazy, she was there to help calm us down and we all had lots of laughs throughout the year! I would also like to comment that Chrissie Sue was a pro at staying within our budget and showing us how to spend our money wisely. Chrissie Sue was incredibly helpful with choosing vendors and securing contracts. For example, Chrissie Sue assisted us with florist recommendations and then she and the florist, Petal & Wren, compiled a Look Book for us to review and have a super productive zoom meeting to nail down the details. My daughter lives in NYC so holding zoom sessions was important and Chrissie Sue always showed up with a detailed agenda and answers to our endless questions. Chrissie Sue was creative with all the table designs for the rehearsal dinner, the welcome party, and the reception at the Boston Harbor Hotel. She also worked incredibly well with Amanda, the event planner at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Chrissie Sue secured contracts for all of our transportation needs (buses, trolley, Rolls Royce) and assisted with the band contract. I could go on endlessly with all that Chrissie Sue did for us but you can see how helpful she truly was to an involved planning process. On the actual weekend, Chrissie Sue was on site for all the events. She supervised all of the vendors and there were NO hiccups at all. Chrissie Sue was truly invaluable to us that weekend – we never dealt with a single issue. Chrissie Sue is a leader and that was exactly what we needed to direct the endless vendors for that weekend, ranging from the band to the florist to the photo booth, etc. She also had an incredibly detailed timeline so the weekend would flow smoothly. Finally, I will say that when she opened the doors to the ballroom for my daughter and me to see our vision finally implemented, it was incredible. Chrissie Sue brought to life my daughter’s dream wedding and for that, I will be forever grateful. Hire this woman NOW!!!

Phenomenal!!
Chrissie Sue was my event coordinator for my wedding and she was absolutely phenomenal! She knew exactly to do and when. She was 20000% prepared for everything she had to tackle and all of my wedding staff commented that they were impressed by her work. 11/10 recommend her for your next event!

Working with Chrissie Sue and her team at Events By Chrissie Sue was an absolute dream. From the moment we hired Chrissie Sue, we knew we were in good hands and she was there to guide us through the planning process and answer any questions we had along the way. Chrissie Sue's experience and deep knowledge of the wedding industry were evident as she seamlessly brought our very specific vision to life, making it even better than I could have imagined when we walked into the venue the day of our wedding. She also checked in on us throughout the night to ensure everything was going well. Chrissie Sue and her team were detail-oriented and organized, executing everything flawlessly to ensure our wedding day was absolutely magical. Even though Chrissie Sue was technically our "day of" coordinator, she was there for us throughout the entire planning process, flagging things we hadn't yet thought of and keeping us 10 steps ahead so our day would be as smooth as possible. We owe so much of the success of our wedding day to Chrissie Sue and her incredible team!!
