Sean gave us an incredible experience with stunning results. He was punctual, professional, and gave very clear instructions for his shoots. He also was very excited to be a part of the process and involved in our special day. When it came time for the ceremony and reception, he was sure to stay out of the spotlight and took incredible pictures without us having to remember that he was there. 10/10 experience and 10/10 quality on the final photo results. We would highly recommend him for any event you may have coming up!

Our approach is a blend of nostalgic and romantic moments mixed with playful, honest, and down-to-earth ones. The final collection is a kaleidoscope of images that feel uniquely and wholly you, allowing joy to radiate through your entire gallery. For the modern, unconventional couples who wanna party with their people & marry the love of their life!

Awarded Best of Zola
Words can't express how much we loved working with Wandermore! We had 2 sets of friends who used Wandermore for wedding photography, and one couple had Michelle photograph and the other had Rachel. We absolutely loved their pictures, so knew we wanted to go with them as well. Price-wise, they are reasonable and on par with or less than many other photographers. We really loved their style of photos -- they're fun, playful, honest, natural, and really capture energy and feelings so beautifully without feeling posed, static, rigid, or overly edited. After a bit of discussion, we chose to have Rachel as our photographer. She did an engagement shoot with us which was really helpful. We got to know her a little bit and vice versa. She was soooo sweet and made us much more comfortable being photographed, and encouraged us to just be ourselves, which resulted in some of the most beautiful photos. On our wedding day, Rachel was equally wonderful. She was organized and made sure to check in with us to be sure we were getting photos with groups that we had wanted, and again she did an amazing job of capturing our love and our amazing day! Cassidy was also great. We were definitely a little nervous not only having our picture taken, but doing so all dressed up, and they made it comfortable and fun and everyone told us how much they liked Rachel and Cassidy as people! We 10000000% recommend Wandermore to anyone looking for a photographer!

Steph Smith Photo
Rating: 5.0 (23 reviews)
Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000

I started learning photography in my high school's darkroom. I was there so much, they gave me my own key so I could come in on weekends. In the mid-aughts, I brought my art kid sensibilities to Brooklyn, and here’s been home ever since. In true New York fashion, I’ve had many jobs— but photography's been my full-time focus for more than a decade. Just me, a concerning number of cameras, and my cat. I'm going to take photos anyway, so some of them should really be of you. And if film photography is your inclination, this was especially meant to be.

Awarded Best of Zola
We truly had the most amazing experience with Steph as our wedding photographer. From the very beginning, she understood exactly what we wanted — candid, intimate, in-the-moment photos that felt real and unposed. And that’s exactly what she delivered. Looking through our gallery feels like reliving the day. She captured all the little moments — the quiet glances, the bursts of laughter, the in-between seconds you don’t even realize are happening — and somehow froze them in time. Nothing feels staged. Every photo feels alive. Her style is artsy and fun without ever trying too hard. She completely captured the essence of our Brooklyn wedding — from our backyard ceremony filled with those who are closest to us to the most fun party that followed at our favorite dive bar. The photos feel like us. If you’re looking for someone who can document your wedding in a way that feels authentic, emotional, and effortlessly cool, Steph is it. We couldn’t be happier.

Natura Collective
Rating: 5.0 (12 reviews)
Brooklyn, NY
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,500

Hey there! My partner Emilio and I have been shooting together for over TEN years (wowee). I personally shot my first wedding back in 2010! We're an LGBT owned company and we are so so so passionate about making sure everyone feels represented in a sometimes white-washed straight appearing industry, we love inclusivity. Our main goal is you having the best stress-free and FUN wedding photo/video experience.

I want to emphasize how grateful we are for Christian & Emilio at Natura Collective, who did the most gorgeous and unique photography for our engagement and our wedding (we also did a video for our wedding which we haven't seen yet but are very confident it will be incredible). It took us a while to find photographers/videographers who had portfolios we loved and were affordable. Additionally, as a queer couple, we felt it was important to hire queer (or queer-friendly) vendors, so we were really excited and proud to support Natura Collective. Christian and Emilio are very personable and easy to get along with. Their process of figuring out what we wanted and communicating our preferences was straightforward and seamless. The preview gallery we have is dreamy; they delivered beyond what we were looking for, and when I look at the pictures, I feel like I'm transported right back to our wedding night, which I'm already feeling sentimental about because it's over. Thank you!!!! Book them!!!! You will not regret it.

I'm Karen, a wedding and portrait photographer based in New York City but can travel anywhere! I've been working as a photographer full time for the last 10 years and in that time have managed to photograph over 200 weddings or something like that. I'm from Virginia originally and was always interested in photography and got my first big break at a friend's wedding! I moved to NYC in 2011 and live in Brooklyn with my partner Austin and our two dogs Blanca and Bort. We have a very large record collection and love trying natural wines!

Karen and co were really great to work with! I find some photographer ignore the timeline and are soooo hard to get a response from. Not Karen she was professional from the beginning to the end. The best part? Her work is beautiful! I’ve gotten so many comments on my social media. I’d work with Karen again in a heartbeat!

A Parisian transplant based in Brooklyn, I fell into with wedding photography very randomly on a New Year's Eve and it was an instant match for me. Since then, I've shot weddings in all sorts of venues from massive mansions to art galleries in New-York, Paris, the French Riviera, Scotland, and Portugal. When I'm not shooting weddings, you'll find me at home with my cat and husband, or travelling across the world. 30 countries and counting!

Carole was great to work with over the course of our engagement shoot and wedding day. She is organized, thoughtful and has great suggestions to get the right kind of photos that will make your day memorable. Love her style and would highly recommend!

We can’t say enough good things about them! From the start, they felt like part of the crew, super chill, easy to work with, and just fun to be around. On the big day, they somehow managed to be everywhere without ever feeling like they were in the way. They caught all the laughs, happy tears, and little moments we didn’t even realize were happening. And when we saw the photos/video? Absolutely blown away. It’s like they bottled up the whole feeling of the day, and now we get to relive it forever.

Seeing and envisioning the way things will appear photographically for the past 20 years, is a finely tuned skill that I have made into my career.  With every wedding and photoshoot all of my experience with light, composition, and how surroundings and subjects will translate in a photograph is intricately woven into every shot. Weddings are my creative playground combining three of my favorite types of photography into one:  portraiture, lifestyle, and photojournalism.  I love jumping into your day armed and ready to capture the most extraordinary fleeting moments in real time.

Stephanie captured the best moments of our wedding. Our photos came back better than we ever could have imagined - very natural, real, and effortless.

Anthony was the absolute best photographer for our wedding and he will be for your event as well. He arrived really early, accommodated our budget and was overall super professional. We spoke several times over the phone prior to the event so he could get a feel for exactly what we had in mind. He captured every moment exactly how we want it to be remembered. Anthony was super easy going but very hard working and managed to capture everything! The photos are super high quality (both in the moments he captured and the actual quality of the photos) and they were delivered to us in a timely fashion after the wedding. Photos as fun as your party! Your wedding will feel like your dream dinner party turned up to eleven. Great food and drinks, killer music, entertainment…and most importantly: all the people you love gathered around you. As the ultimate hosts, you want your guests to feel comfortable and have an incredible time—and this is exactly how you’ll feel in front of my camera on your wedding day. I’ll quickly put you at ease so you’ll spend the whole day doing the only thing that matters: having the time of your lives.

Hiring Sarah was one of the first and best decisions we made about our wedding! We first found Sarah when we were looking for a photographer for engagement photos, and as soon as the shoot was over we both agreed we wanted her at our wedding as well. Sarah has an exceptionally warm and kind presence which makes the process of posing and taking photos easy and comfortable, and our photos feel like they showcase our authentic personalities. She was a joy to have at our wedding, and several members of our wedding party specifically commented to my wife and I that the process of taking portraits was more fun and easier than they’d experienced at any other wedding. Everyone should hire Sarah, and especially if you’re a person who typically doesn’t like having their picture taken. You are in the best possible hands with Sarah!

Before we even met, Ryan and Tatiana had 10 years experience as wedding photographers, and Ryan had been named one of the Top 10 Wedding Photographers in the World by the two top industry magazines, American Photo and Rangefinder. We didn't mean to fall in love with the person whose style and experience fit most neatly with each others', but it happened. Now we manage our business and creative passion with our other passion … parenting our Tasmanian Devil of a toddler, Gavin, in our happy place of Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.

Hire the Brenizers! They are incredibly professional, talented, warm and dedicated. Within days of our wedding, they sent us a sneak peak of highlight photos from our wedding day. Their style is very personal; there is nothing "staged" about their photos. We truly felt like we had made new friends by the end of the day and would gladly work with them again! Strongly recommend.

I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors of the horses always have been inspiring to me. I’ve always wanted to recreate them, but was never really able to. Honestly, my painting/drawing skills were and still are terrible, and that’s when photography came up in my life. I would create imaginary cameras out of my toys and would ‘photograph’ the horses and my neighbors. Photographing people became my passion and then evolved into my work in editorial and wedding photography.

We cannot say enough amazing things about 98 Wedding Co. ! Gui and Joe went above and beyond in every way, capturing the most stunning, editorial-style photos of us, our family, and our bridal party. The vision we had in our heads of what our wedding photos would look like truly came to life - and then some. Meaghan here - I’m the one from which you’ll hear a lot of “Fuck yeah!!!” and “You guys look so hot!” My inspiration comes from our lord and savior, Janis Joplin, and my style is free movement and honesty. Howdy! I'm Brendon, a quiet Mid-Westerner turned East-Coast loud-mouth who happens to have a knack for photography, editing, graphic illustration, and all things creative. My background comes from shooting fashion shows and exclusive events for BFA.com around NYC, which made me appreciate the avant-garde.

We had a terrific experience working with Meaghan and Brendon of “Far Out Feeling.” If you’ve made it this far, you already love their style – their ability to capture both candid and staged photos artfully – and we are happy to report that the photographers have personalities to match. We loved meeting them for drinks months in advance of our wedding, which gave us a nice context for one another when the day finally came (we cannot imagine, now, not knowing our wedding photographers when they arrived to take pictures of us!) We perhaps didn’t consider how crucial this feeling of comfort was, but when you think about, you do spend a tremendous portion of your wedding day with your photographers. Meaghan and Brendon felt like friends, which made even the parts of the wedding that we don’t like (posing!) feel easy, natural, and fun. Meaghan and Brendon were incredibly responsive, from first to last. They always got back to us the day we had a question, and even weeks after our wedding, they were responding to our technical difficulties within minutes. And the photos themselves turned out great! Again, you’ve probably seen evidence of this already. We cannot wait to print them, frame them, and, in all likelihood, post them relentlessly to our Instagram stories. A huge thank you to Meaghan and Brendon, who we recommend whole-heartedly.

When I'm not shooting weddings, I’m a total beach bum. This might sound like an oxymoron coming from a native Montrealer, but I adore the ocean (and very much dislike winter). I swim and surf whenever possible, and I get out to the Rockaways as often as I can. I do a ton of beach photography, including a series about couples at the beach, and I’ve been published a few times, including here and here. If you see me at the beach, come say hi, and let’s have a frozen drink together.

Erica was absolutely the best, we chose her because we liked her style and that her shots looked very natural. As someone who is very uncomfortable in front of the camera, this was important to me, and on the day I felt very relaxed and was able to truly enjoy the moments with my partner while she captured them. She took the time to meet with us months before the wedding to make sure we were comfortable the day of, and captured our day beautifully (while also helping make sure we were organized and didn’t veer too far off schedule!). I highly highly recommend her!
