    Bailey is the BEST!

We cannot recommend Bailey highly enough! More than a year since we got married, and we still look back at photos and say “thank God we went with Bailey - these are perfect.” Not only did she make the process feel seamless, making us feel at ease leading up to the wedding and during, but she also delivered on exactly what we were going for. We wanted more dynamic, natural-looking photos that captured the emotion and overall vibe of the day, and she did exactly that. To this day, all our guests ask us who we hired for photos and give endless compliments on the shots she took. HIGHLY recommend for everyone, but especially for queer couples and anyone planning a Brooklyn wedding.

Maddy, you're going to make me cry! Thank you for this sweet note! I'm truly obsessed with the images we created together, and so happy you're satisfied with your experience reflecting a year later. You & Alex were so fun to work with, and I'm wishing you the absolute best!!

    10/10 can’t recommend Bailey enough!

It’s safe to say choosing Bailey as our wedding photographer is truly one of the best (and easiest honestly) decisions we could’ve made. She knew our vision and how important the city and our people are to us and she really made capturing our photos look and feel easy and comfortable. We also got to work with Leah who took some amazing film photos throughout the day and they were such a kind and comfortable addition. We can’t thank them both enough for capturing all of our favorite moments with all the love, respect, and joy. We really felt like some of our old friends were capturing our day!

Thank you Katy! I wish we could do it all again! Trust me, I cherish those photos almost as much as you do! I'll never forget your sweet, emotional first look with Rachel, and the endless bubbles at your party! Wishing you all the best <3

Best Photographer Ever and a Wonderful Person

I found Bailey through a friend and am so glad I did! Bailey is thoughtful, detail-oriented, organized, and a wonderful person - all traits that helped our wedding day go smoothly and left us with the most perfect photos to remember our day. Bailey took the time to understand our vision and the best places for photos. She was a great person to bounce ideas off of before the wedding and I appreciated the time and attention she put in to ensure the day went smoothly. We didn't have a formal wedding coordinator because we did a very small ceremony and then a dinner with friends afterwards, but my husband and I felt like Bailey was a wedding coordinator and photographer all in one because she was THAT organized! For someone like me, who likes to be organized and gets anxious around schedules and keeping guests waiting, Bailey made a huge impact in alleviating my anxiety before and during our wedding. We also used Bailey for our engagement photo shoot and couldn't be happier with the results. She has an eye for lighting and a vision for how a photo could turn out. There were times for both the wedding and engagement photo shoot where she spontaneously suggested a particular pose or a spot and the result was incredible and captured our love for each other and Brooklyn. Bailey is the best photographer for your special day and we plan on using her for future photoshoots for our family!

Oh my gosh Grace, you're the sweetest! I'm so lucky we connected, and it was such a joy getting to know you, Charles & your loved ones. I'm so glad you felt at ease throughout the process, and thank you for trusting my artistic eye! Wishing you the best!!

    A dream to work with!

We cannot recommend Bailey enough! From the moment we booked her, she was communicative, patient, and genuinely excited about our wedding. Her warmth and professionalism made us confident we'd made the right choice. One of the best decisions we made was also having Bailey cover our welcome party the night before the wedding. She captured the relaxed, joyful energy of our friends and family gathering for cocktails and an open mic on the deck at our venue. By the time our wedding day arrived, Bailey already felt like part of the group: a trusted friend rather than just a vendor. This made such a difference, especially since we're both pretty camera-shy and were nervous about feeling awkward or stiff in front of the camera. Bailey completely put us at ease. She has a gift for making you forget you're even being photographed. Her approach is so calm and unobtrusive that we could just be ourselves and enjoy our day. Bailey was incredibly patient with our large family during portraits, managing group shots with grace and efficiency while keeping everyone relaxed and happy. She has a real talent for making the photo-taking process feel natural and easy. The photos themselves are absolutely stunning. The ceremony shots in particular—the sunlight is captured exactly as I remember experiencing it in the moment, which is such a gift. Every image feels warm, authentic, and true to the vibe we wanted: natural, fun, and full of life. Bailey didn't just document our wedding, she captured the feeling of it. Now that our wedding is over, we can say with complete certainty that the photos were worth every penny of the investment. We love reliving the day through her work, and we know these images will be treasured for years to come. If you want a photographer who will blend seamlessly into your celebration, put your families at ease, and deliver beautiful, candid photos that feel like you, book Bailey immediately.

    Wedding & Engagement Photos Review

Working with Bailey was incredible. Her organization, her amazing ideas while we were shooting, how personable and lovely she is—she immediately made us feel like we were in good hands and that we could trust her completely with our big day. Getting the final photos and reliving our wedding day through her lens was amazing because she did such a phenomenal job capturing every moment, the vibe, and the emotions of that day. Still brings me tears of joy! We cannot recommend Bailey highly enough!

Thank you so much for this sweet review, Denise! The feeling is mutual- you're such sweet thoughtful people, and I'm so grateful for our friendship to this day!

I fell in love with photography (and coincidentally, my husband) in 2011 while I was in college. I learned how to develop and print in the darkroom, and have photographed film & digital ever since. In 2016 I began working as an apprentice shooting & editing for an extremely prolific wedding photographer, and then started my own business in 2018. I’ve been full time since then, and like my mom said I can “never have a normal job again.” I’ve shot HUNDREDS of weddings over the years- I’ve lost count. In that time, I’ve learned SO much, and have worked to hone my skills & style to be most authentic to myself & my couples.
My photography style is also photojournalistic- I look for candid and intimate moments. I am always inspired by what I find to be beautiful or meaningful in the moment. How the light falls, someone's reaction to a really emotional speech, the way a branch hangs down to frame the couple as we walk together during portraits. I like to feed off the energy of the day without being obtrusive, so that the pictures highlight what makes you and your wedding day so special.
I am based in Brooklyn, NY & available for travel to the Hudson Valley, Catskills, Berkshires, Montauk, & select locations in CT, NJ, MA, & RI. Travel fees only apply to locations over 150 miles round trip from Brooklyn, NY. Travel fee = $200/night for overnight accommodations + federal mileage rate of $0.67/mi
Yes! I love shooting both digital & film at weddings- what we in the industry call “hybrid.” I love the process of slowing down, and the images tend to be more creative & experimental, which allows for some fun surprises in your final gallery. But when it comes to documenting a wedding, I primarily shoot digitally, since it allows me to take a huge volume of images, in order to thoroughly and efficiently document your day without getting stuck in a scenario where I need to re-load my film camera, and potentially miss a really important moment. Therefore, I offer film as an add-on to compliment my digital work.
Weddings: Sneak peeks within 2 weeks, full edited gallery within 8 weeks of the wedding. Elopements/microweddings: Sneak peeks within 1 week, full edited gallery within 4 weeks of the wedding. Engagement/Couples sessions: Full edited gallery within 2 weeks of the shoot date.
YES! It’s a beautiful way to bring your digital images to life, and interact with them on a daily basis. They’re also great as thank you/holiday gifts for your wedding party & parents. PRINTS: Prints are super easy to order directly through your online gallery! All you do is select your favorites, the size/paper/quantity, and get it shipped directly to your door. ALBUMS: I like to think of an album as a storybook of prints. You select your favorite images and I lay it out in an artful way to tell the narrative of the day. The albums I offer are meant to be heirlooms- they are extremely durable and archival, and stand the test of time.
Up to 18 months in advance. But some couples reach out within weeks of their elopement- everyone’s different, and I’m happy to connect wherever you’re at in your wedding planning journey. It’s worth noting, I can only confirm my availability once you have a date & location locked in.
Yes, I recommend including a 2nd photographer in your package if you’re planning on a large guest count (100+). Having a 2nd photographer there allows for more candid shots of guests, and guarantees that everyone at the wedding will be documented in some capacity throughout the day. One of my favorites things about my job is being able to share moments the couple WASN’T there for, and a 2nd photographer can help document your day more thoroughly. Having 2 photographers shooting for the entire day provides you with twice as many photos to choose from, as well as alternative angles of portraits and key moments.
Yes! Here are some reasons I recommend all my wedding clients book an engagement session with me: It gets you more comfortable in front of the camera (even if it's just a teeny bit!) so that when it comes time for your wedding day, you'll know what to expect out of the portrait session, and photos will be a breeze. It gives us all a chance to get to know each other in the flesh before the big day, so it feels like I'm another friend at your wedding rather than a total stranger. If you book it far enough ahead of time, you can use the photos for save-the-dates, or a fun party favor or guest book.
Don’t worry- literally everyone says this (unless they’re actually a model or actor.) But trust me, I have plenty of ways to help you let your guard down and be present so the images reflect YOU. And it doesn’t hurt that your favorite person in the world is right there next to you to enjoy the ride. And again my photography style is as candid as possible. The most authentic photos are the ones where you’re fully wrapped up in the moment, and you forget the camera is even there.
It might sound cheesy: one partner stands alone in a garden, the other approaches from behind, taps them on the shoulder, and catches them by "surprise." They spin around to face each other, meet eyes *GASPS* and they embrace lovingly. If being so staged that isn't your style - no worries. A first-look can be a casual moment together - one of the few you'll have all day to connect before the big ceremony. Also consider, if the first time you see each other on your wedding day is while you're walking down the aisle, there's so much emotion in that moment that it can be really overwhelming! It's not for everybody - so no pressure!
I usually dedicate about 30 min for family portraits, and 30 min for wedding party portraits depending on how many combinations you choose. My take is: the longer the shot list, the less time I have to capture more natural moments amongst your loved ones. We can make them quick and painless- and even fun & creative! The way it works is: about a month or 2 out from the wedding we will have a final planning phone call to come up with a list of combinations of family members and wedding party that you want photos with. That way we have a solid shot list we can bang through smoothly & efficiently, so you can get on with the party!
