About Katie Osgood Photography

Katie Osgood

Owner/ Photographer

I've spent an unrealistic amount of time in college studying both the art and business of photography, graduating with a BFA in Photography & Imaging from Art Center College of Design in California in 2008. At which point, I decided to join my friend crew out in NYC and boom! — the most adult version of my business was born. In total I’ve been shooting weddings since late 2006 and working within the wedding industry since 2003. I swear I'm younger than that makes me sound. Yikes!

As soon as you have your date and venue locked in you should be booking your photographer and other vendors. Fall and Spring dates go first so the sooner the better if you want your first choice. Clients usually book at least 12-18 months in advance but sometimes as late as one month if they get lucky with an open date.
Sometimes. 80% of wedding I shoot are solo. If guest lists exceed 175 or I need to be in two places at the same time then I recommend a second photographer.
I will edit all deliverables which is about 40-50% of all images captured.
6-8 weeks and sometimes a tad longer if you're getting married during peak wedding season (Sep-Nov).
700-900 but this number depends on total hours photographed and number of guests.
Of course! 2 Million Liability.
In my 14 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to shoot your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
