Hey there! My name is Marilyn. I live in New York City with my sweet partner, and our orange cat Maple. I’m an introverted, soft-hearted mush with an insatiable need to document the beauty in life. Practicing self-portraits in middle school eventually led me to pursue my photography degree from New York University, and I have been joyfully creating photos of wedding days ever since. To me, weddings are a magical display of the human spirit. It’s my biggest honor and joy to create imagery that captures that human magic - especially in a way that breaks the boundaries of historically gendered traditions.
I want to photograph as a witness, not an orchestrator — I believe your day shouldn’t feel like a staged shoot. For me, documenting means that if I’m not capturing group photos, I am blending into the background and capturing moments as they happen, in the most candid way possible. Group photos are timeless keepsakes, but most posed photos can be consolidated into about 30 minutes-1 hour of your day, leaving the rest of the time for you to act natural. So if you’re looking to forgo the strict shot list and long list of posed portraits, let’s work together!

This package is my main bread and butter. It's ideal for those looking for a full day of celebrating, with no fear of rushing through any of the photography aspects. Regardless of how early you begin your day, or how late your festivities run, I will be there to capture things naturally, and will work to create a timeline that flows easily for you.

Full Day Elopement Package
Peak pricing $4,500
My Full Day Elopement package is ideal for those having a celebration with multiple locations involved. If your ceremony is outdoors, or at City Hall, we have enough time to capture phots before, portraits following the ceremony, and a possible reception to follow! Similar to my larger wedding packages, this full day coverage is intended to take the pressure off of you with creating a strict timeline, and just let the day flow more naturally.

Weekend Wedding Package

The most perfect photographer in the world
From our first conversation, Marilyn made us feel at ease with her kind and calm approach to planning. She was with us every step of the way, answering questions honestly and helping us feel like this was going to be fun and easy (we don't often get photographed). On the wedding day itself, Marilyn captured every moment and detail so we could actually enjoy the experience without worry. Her eye for documentary-style photography really shined when she captured our most intimate moments—especially the raw emotion as we shared our vows which was totally planned on the spot and she ran with it! She has a thoughtful perspective that feels both romantic and authentic, and when I saw the preview images I knew she had captured us as we are! We're so grateful for her and her talent. Best decision we made!!

Best Wedding Photographer EVER
Marilyn made the entire experience of finding a photographer for our special day seamless. She was responsive and flexible, and her pricing tiers allowed us to work within our budget. Day of, she was amazing. She made my husband and me feel super comfortable and at ease. The portraits of us are outstanding! She got amazing candids at our reception and blended in with the other guests, making it easy to capture off-the-cuff photos. 10/10, recommend for your wedding, engagement photos, etc!

Dream Wedding Photographer!
Marilyn was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. When we began looking for the right photographer for us, our primary criteria was someone who would photograph our day in a way that looked like art that could blend into the artwork in our house, and that’s exactly how we feel about Marilyn’s work. We are still struggling to pick which images to hang on our walls. Marilyn’s offering of both digital and film was also so fun and unique, and we chose to add folm onto both our engagement shoot and wedding day- totally worth it. Beyond her work being beautiful, she’s also incredibly communicative, quick to answer, and very organized. She always made herself available to us and was the perfect choice for two people who hate being the center of attention. We also did a pre wedding engagement shoot which Marilyn designed and chose the locations for, and it was epic. We love the photos from our engagement and wedding, and would definitely hire Marilyn again if ever we have an occasion for it! In terms of cost, of course that’s all going to depend on your specific budget, but my wife and I felt that Marilyn’s cost for her services was incredibly fair and appropriate, and we definitely would have spent ever more because we were passionate about working with her. When it came to the actual day of the wedding, Marilyn was super flexible and easy going! We absolutely recommend her, especially if you’re having a smaller wedding and love photos that are authentic to the day!

Perfect experience
Marilyn is such a warm and welcoming person. She was so approachable and encouraging throughout the entire process. During our home photo shoot and on our wedding day, she stuck the perfect balance of directing us to look our best while allowing us to be ourselves.
