Founder & President

I'm a native New Yorker and the 2nd eldest of 7 children. I graduated from Cornell University with a business degree and prior to founding Bride & Blossom worked in finance, PR and TV news production. After planning and designing my wedding in 2008 I was inspired to pursue floral design and event decor professionally. I received many compliments on the flowers and the venue coordinator referred brides that were interested in “my florist”! With my combined business acumen, production experience, and flair for design, I saw the perfect opportunity to start my business, and B&B was born. I live in NY with my husband, little girls and pups.

    Amazing Florist!

    We worked with Rachel and her team for our wedding and we were so happy that we worked with them! We had a lot of confidence in Rachel from our very first discussion onward. She made us feel heard, and provided very insightful and thorough responses to the unusual ballroom setup we had in mind. What won us over is that she was quite transparent with her proposal, providing a great amount of detail and examples, and she made very thoughtful changes to the proposal when we provided feedback. On the day of, we were so happy with the final outcome! The flowers looked very healthy, our chuppah was to a tee as described in the proposal, and the look of every centerpiece was consistent. Her team even offered to make some small additions to the chuppah on the day of that looked amazing and, when we had to add a table for our guestbook last-minute, they proactively found a way to decorate the table. The overall service we got from the whole Bride & Blossom team made us feel confident about what we considered one of the most stressful parts of our wedding planning. We cannot thank them enough and highly recommend them!

We have a 5,000 minimum for all days of the week and months of the year except Saturdays from May to October we have a 7,000 minimum.
Consultations last approximately 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. After your consultation, we will draft a detailed proposal with prices along with a design board.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery and set up.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide a complimentary mockup, typically a table centerpiece for budgets 10k+. For budgets below 10k we charge the cost of the arrangement and you are welcome to take the flowers home. We generally create samples between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal is due.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
Yes! We offer a variety of decor items including draping, arches, chuppahs, mandaps, candles, mirrors and candelabras. We also provide complex installations likes flower walls, suspended elements and more. Get in touch to see our full list.
We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services for venues within a couple hour's distance of New York City. Our setup and breakdown fees will be clearly listed on your proposal.
