We are a small floral design studio located in historic Greenpoint, Brooklyn that specializes in intimate events with a touch of modern whimsy! We love to innovate with creative installations and symbolic details.

We take pride in our radical approach to floral design using bright colors, funky textures, and a mixture of fresh and dry botanicals. Work one-on-one with me to create a wedding that is both contemporary and unique.

We had the most amazing experience working with Milk Weed Botanical for our wedding. The process was seamless, easy and fun. Aria worked with us and she was so warm, professional, and talented. Throughout the process she actively communicated with us around our vision for the florals (including when she came with us to walk through the venue), and she consistently sent inspiration photos during the planning process to help us hone in on color scheme and style. The final floral presentation during our wedding completely exceeded our imagination of what it would look like. Somehow she captured EXACTLY the floral vibe that we wanted, and it fit so seamlessly into the space and added such a unique, beautiful, special element, that I was really taken aback. It was so gorgeous. I received multiple compliments throughout the event at how beautiful the flowers were! I am so hopeful that the photographer got ample photos of the flower arrangements because they were stunning (still waiting to get photos back otherwise I would post them here!). I am so grateful to Aria for making our wedding so beautiful. I cannot recommend Milk Weed Botanical highly enough!

Cant recommend the team at Milkweed Botanical enough!! They perfectly captured my clients vision for her wedding day and went above and beyond in creating some stunning arrangements and ceiling installs. The florals were stunning!! They're great communicators too even when we had some design changes as we got closer to the wedding date. I highly recommend Aria and the Milkweed team!

Aria is an absolute gem! From the minute I spoke with her on the phone I knew she was the one I wanted for our wedding. She is thoughtful and intentional in her creations, and is just an overall joy to chat with! She was so accommodating when my ideas changed, and even included a special and personal little surprise on my and my husbands flowers. It looked like what dreams are made of. I still cant get over how whimsically gorgeous it all was, from our ceremony flowers, bud vases, my bouquet and my husbands boutonniere. Seriously perfection. xoxox Michelle (and Nick)

Aria and the Milk Weed Botanical team were incredible from start to finish. Firstly, Aria is a true a professional. From setting up calls to speak live and listen to really what I was looking for, to following up with mood boards and formal proposals she was able to give me the confidence we were aligned on the vision. She even included a walk through at the venue with me that solidified my trust in her. Aria helped me decide the best type of arrangements for the space, my needs, and budget. For the small wedding I was having I didn’t think I’d ever get such an amazing personalized customer experience, but I did and I’m so grateful for that. Then to talk about the flowers and arrangements themselves. I am not a big flower person and originally I wasn’t even sure I’d have a florist. Except when I stumbled on Milk Weed Botanical and saw pictures of the different arrangements from past projects, it opened my eyes to new possibilities. We wanted bright and colorful arrangements that were funky, with varied in shape and direction and that is exactly what Aria delivered. When I walked in and saw the vision come to life I was beyond happy. It was actually perfect. Every arrangement was different and visually interesting, and even the smaller bud vases made the space they adorned come to life. Gorgeous. I couldn’t stop talking about beautiful they all were and everyone agreed. On top of it all, I needed some extra help with the setup. Because of the nature of her business, flexibility and genuine care, Aria worked out with me a way to do that. She and her team not only setup the flowers, but also helped with some additional decorating. I can’t recommend Milk Weed Botanical enough for not only being great to work with but for also being true floral artists.
