About Louis Photography

Louis Photography

Husband and wife photographers, John & Sha'Pella Louis, created Louis Photography in 2017. Both share a passion for photography and the creative arts. John is a fashion photographer that has worked with top modeling agencies across NYC, for television shows, tv personalities, and actors. He enjoys shooting high fashion portraits, beauty and lifestyle portraits and telling a creative story through his lens. Sha'Pella is a talented artist whose unique perspective allows for capturing the most memorable moments on camera. With years of working within the art, fashion and beauty industry, her experience has trained her to have an amazing eye.

As a married couple ourselves, we have a great artistic synergy that is felt by our clients. Our ideas and chemistry work together to ensure that we get "The Shot." everytime. We also know exactly what to say and do to make clients feel at ease and comfortable in front of the lense. It's this secret that leads to an amazing customer experience and even better photos.

    I was very particular when looking for wedding photographers because I work in media and have experience running editorial photoshoots, so I wanted a team that had a keen eye for details as well as artistic flair. Louis Photography fit the bill — they had a background in fashion and beauty (like me) and delivered exactly what I was looking for. They were extremely easy to work with and were great at providing direction to capture creative and beautiful shots.     We're thrilled with our photos and experience We cannot say enough about how beautiful our photos are! We are beyond thrilled with how they turned out and how they feel like we felt on our wedding day. I will say, though, that we and our families all agreed that even if the photos didn’t turn out as we hoped, we would still be happy because of how great they were to work with. They made even the more camera-shy among us feel comfortable, never distracted from the important parts of our day, and were flexible and lovely to be around. We couldn't be happier with the final results and wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone getting married in the area.
