Velvet Valley Cakes specializes in vintage style buttercream cakes. I study old school cake decorating books and bring this style back to life while maintaining a modern twist. My flavors are inspired by the eclectic mix of food I have been lucky enough to enjoy during my upbringing in Queens, NY.

I don’t operate like a traditional bakery. I pay close attention to every detail and focus on a limited number of cakes per week. I have made cakes for celebrities like Harry Styles and SZA. My mojito cheesecake won “The Great American Dish Off” featured on Fox, judged by Gail Simmons and Daphne Oz. I have been featured in blogs from NK Bride and Over The Moon.

    Planning a wedding on your own is no. piece of cake! Blair made the wedding cake. The decision process is seamless. I had a till-death wedding, and the black heart layered cake couldn't be perfect. Not only did she help me through and helped me with the cake testing (the bonus is samples got shipped right to. my apartment). She helped create a red velvet sponge cake that was a custom option. The cake was wowed by myself and all the guests. Thank you, Blair, for making me—my dream wedding cake.
