Mind of Mo Photography offers classical, elegant, personalized Engagement and Wedding Photography. With multiple photographers on staff, we have the experience and availability to make your wedding day unforgettable. Our family run business aims to treat your wedding with as much love, devotion, and care as you do. Our style continues to be relaxed, laid-back, and candid - our edits are natural and we believe couples take the best photos when they are relaxed and having fun! We offer affordable options, & payment plans with flexible deposits are always available. We bring a good energy and calming presence to the weddings we photograph.
We are a team that truly focuses on what is best for our couples, no matter what. We pride ourselves on being photographers who also double as wedding planners. We also understand that wedding planning is stressful and expensive. Because of this, we offer custom packages as well as (complimentary) payment plans, and we pledge to work with all couples, regardless of their budget.

Megan Swanson was an excellent photographer! Super flexible, accommodating, and go with the flow. She organized all of the photo-taking well, showed up early, and even got me a Pepto Bismol from her car when I wasn't feeling well. Would recommend to anyone!

LOOK NO FURTHER! BOOK MIND OF MO!
Maurissa was without a doubt the BEST DECISION we made for our wedding day! I literally cannot say enough good things to do her and her services justice. Even our whole wedding party and family that interacted with Maurissa throughout wedding day have also shared how awesome she was. She was fantastic from the moment we had our first introduction – she was so communicative and reassuring and worked with us to make sure we knew everything about Mind of Mo services prior to booking. That first impression is what helped us make our choice with booking her, and boy-oh-boy did she follow-through more than we could have imagined! Maurissa was also extremely patient with me - as a Type A Bride, I had sent her a lengthy list of desired photos prior to wedding day. I joked that it was a lot and she made me feel like it was totally normal. I know now that I never had to do this because her vision was magical - our favorite and featured photo is from our Sneak Peeks and was all her! What you want in a photographer is not only someone who will capture amazing photos, but also someone who will guide you through your wedding day. This is the person you will have the most interaction with all day long. Maurissa made the day fun, breezy, and even when we did have those anticipated mishaps occur (we knew there’d be at least one) she swooped in and literally saved the day. I am not being dramatic – my false eyelashes fell off not once but TWICE. The first time was right before my first look with my husband which caused a delay in our Timeline, and Maurissa flawlessly pivoted to make sure we stayed on track with time while they were re-glued onto my face. Then the second time the eyelashes came off, it was Maurissa herself who stepped up to the plate to make sure those babies were glued on right before I walked down the aisle. In this moment of panic for me, Maurissa had a confidence and calm demeanor that quickly put me at ease (and those eyelashes didn’t move again the whole night). On top of everything, our wedding was also on the far East side of Michigan, and Maurissa is based in Minnesota. We are extremely thankful that her services were offered at this distance! Our Sneak Peek photos are STUNNING and we are so excited to see the rest of them when they are ready!

Wedding photos made simple
Working with Mind Of Mo Weddings & Events for our wedding was a fantastic experience. They were incredibly responsive to our needs and questions throughout the planning process. The quality of their work was excellent, especially given the great price they charged. They made our wedding day fun and comfortable, even when they were holding a camera right in our faces. We actually added videography just 2 days before the wedding, and they were able to accommodate that last-minute request seamlessly. I would highly recommend Mind Of Mo Weddings & Events to any couple looking for a talented and professional photography team for their special day.

Wedding photography
Allie was our photographer for the day and she did absolutely amazing. She fit right in with my family and friends, and guests thought Allie and I were long time friends. With our wedding being a bit unique with timing and events, Allie did not hesitate to give direction, help where needed, and kept me cool calm and collected. She even jumped in the bounce house with us, truly going above and beyond! The sneak peeks of the photos were breathtaking and brilliant. She did a marvelous job of capturing the moments, stolen kisses, and my loud eccentric faces.
