Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book me about 9-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Q: Will you edit and retouch our pictures?

Yes. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also include retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening at NO additional charge.

Q: How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to start seeing photos upload online about 2-4 weeks after your wedding. All images will be edited and uploaded to your online gallery within 4-8 weeks. You can also expect to receive a USB (or a Dropbox link to download your images) with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 70 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Q: What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In my 17 years of experience as a professional wedding photographer (and over 400 weddings), this has happened only a couple of times. In the VERY rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of our other photographers at the studio.

It's amazing how one day someone walks into your life, and suddenly you can't remember how you ever lived without them! It's been my life's mission to beautifully capture every couple's love story along with every new chapter in their lives (from proposals to growing families). Studio Delphianblue was founded in 2013 and is a fully woman-owned company based out of Burnsville MN. We DO travel outside of the Twin Cities metro area! I absolutely LOVE photographing proposals, engagement sessions and weddings, and my passion is reflected in my photography work.

My extensive experience as a wedding photographer is an asset I bring to every wedding! I have photographed over 480 weddings since I photographed my first wedding in 2005! From the first time we spoke, Danielle at Studio Delphianblue demonstrated her commitment to capturing our wedding perfectly. She was very easy to communicate with, and answered any questions we had.
