Hi, I am Patricia! East River Photographer is my Brooklyn based photography servicing NYC. I specialize in multi-cultural weddings, micro-weddings & elopements. As your wedding photographer, I want to tell your story in beautiful, vibrant images that capture poignant moments, with a touch of drama, whimsy & lots of feels in a modern way. You will find that I will celebrate your day with you and offer gentle guidance when needed. If you are nervous about not knowing what to do or how to pose, I have you covered! My goal is to help you feel comfortable, relaxed, looking your best while allowing you to enjoy your day.

What can I say??!? Working with Patricia was honestly one of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of our engagement season, aside from the ring itself (: From the start, she made us feel comfortable and at ease. My partner is not naturally someone who loves being in front of a camera, but Patricia has this calm, warm presence and gives just enough guidance without anything ever feeling stiff or overly posed. The whole session felt natural and low pressure, more like spending time hanging out than doing a photoshoot - even with me badgering my partner to comb his hair for the camera. She made it all look good. Her style really is the best mix of everything you would want. We got classic portraits our families immediately loved, some more editorial shots that feel polished and artistic, and candid in between moments that actually feel like us. She has such a good eye for the small, quiet things you do not even realize are happening, like the glances, the laughter, and the subtle moments that tell the real story. She also gave us sneak peeks right away. It made the process even more exciting and honestly reassuring! We knew we were in good hands and when the full gallery arrived, it more than delivered... Bottom line, she is incredibly attentive and detail oriented in addition to very human and people forward. She remembered little things we mentioned, even our cats, which made everything feel personal rather than transactional. Communication was clear, and the gallery arrived right on time, which made the entire process feel smooth from start to finish. We would absolutely recommend Patricia to friends and would happily work with her again. Beyond being talented, she is simply easy to be around, and that makes a big difference on a day when you are being photographed for hours. We are really grateful we chose her to capture this time in our lives.

Patricia at East River Photography was absolutely wonderful in capturing our proposal and engagement photos. She photographed the exact moment of the proposal and then took plenty of time for beautiful, romantic shots in Central Park. From the start, her communication and planning were excellent, and she worked closely with us to capture all the special moments we’ll look back on forever. We can offer sneak peaks within 48 hours. If it’s the busy season, editing will take 6 weeks. If it’s not the busy season, editing will take 4 weeks or less. If you really want your pictures soon, and pay a surcharge of $200 so we can get the help needed to edit them sooner.

Upon contract review, I request a non-refundable retainer fee of $800 to save your date. The balance is requested in 2 installments thereafter. Complete payment is expected before the release of any pictures or printed materials.

I would suggest you select a package and I can add an hour as needed. If you have something in mind, I'd be happy to discuss. I also offer print options and print packages as well.

I have video partners that I trust and can contract if you have a need.

Unless it's an elopement, I frequently work with an assistant and they are already included in the price. If your wedding is more than 100 people, I suggest we add another assistant or a second shooter at an additional fee, depending on the size of your guest list.

Absolutely! Every image is fully edited in my fine art style. I make sure skin tones are natural, and you look your best. If something is distracting or unflattering, I will take care of it - so the focus is on your love and the beauty of your day.

You can expect about 70 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

In my 5 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll will offer you the option of refunding your money and letting you choose your own photographer or I'll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant.
