Hello, my name is Daniel Martinez and I thank you for taking interest in my work! Photography and I go way back! I discovered my passion for it when I was fourteen years old. From the first moment I picked up a camera, I knew that this career was the one that I wanted to pursue. I have worked within the wedding photography industry for 10 years and have experience working with publications such as ESPN, PDN, and The New York Times. My Photography style is documentary based as I aim to capture natural candid moments.

My approach to photographing weddings is based on making the couple feel as comfortable as possible. I pride myself in capturing honest moments between the wedding couple & their guest. I'm always a student of life and my photography will continue to grow and evolve the same way I do.

    We hired Danny to take our engagement photos and we couldn't be any happier with how they turned out. Danny's eye is unmatched. We took the pictures on Danny's referral at beautiful Rockland Lake State Park around sunset. His knowledge & usage of natural lighting was truly impressive. Danny's communication throughout the shoot was flawless; he knew what to say and how to say it to catch the most amazing photos. We're beyond excited to have him shoot our wedding next September in Lake Placid, NY!

    Danny was such a pleasure to work with. He checked off all boxes of the traditional shots of us and the whole wedding party, and portrait shots of us during first look's, but also captured moments and journalistic style shots throughout the night that really showed our personalities. When we showed interest in doing "light painting" effect photos for some of the fun late-night shots, he dove right in. The first set of photos that he delivered to us the day after the wedding were awesome - I can't wait to see all of the final shots. Danny is an artist and it's clear in his work.
