Nicolas Perez Castelblanco, a New York-based photographer, specializes in documenting weddings and other memorable occasions. An alumnus of the New York Film Academy, Nicolas is driven by a love for preserving heartfelt emotions and timeless moments that highlight the essence of human connection.

I believe the most meaningful photos are captured when the camera goes unnoticed. No awkward poses, no rehearsed expressions—just genuine moments, your love, and the pure happiness of your celebration. Nicolas Perez was extremely professional from the moment I contacted him. He responded to emails and calls promptly and listened to our vision for our wedding over a zoom call. We were drawn to Nicolas journalistic style through his great website and instagram. Nicolas even went beyond his photographic role and helped us find a wedding coordinator and videographer when I asked if he knew any recommendations. We really appreciate him meeting me at the wedding venue a few weeks before the wedding to get a sense of where we would take photos. My guest commented how kind and considerate Nicolas was during the wedding and loved the final photos. We highly recommend Castelblanco for your special events as we loved our wedding photos!

Nicolás was a dream to work with. Communication was easy from the beginning and he was always very responsive and patient with our questions and asks. Nicolas has an amazing eye and captures intimate moments that are easily missed with the overwhelming nature of a wedding. We loved that he documents the special day rather than forcing people to pose. We received the pictures in a couple of weeks after our wedding and were ecstatic of the results. Nicolas is truly an artist! We HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding day. He will deliver amazing intimate and warm images.

We initially hired Nicolas to capture our intimate wedding reception, but when my "wedding coordinator" aka my sister stepped up, we had him shoot our couple and family shots. Nicolas didn't disappoint! He was able to capture our intimate and candid moments. We're glad to have met Nicolas and hired him for our event — he's been professional all through out. Highly recommend!
