Meaghan here - I’m the one from which you’ll hear a lot of “Fuck yeah!!!” and “You guys look so hot!” My inspiration comes from our lord and savior, Janis Joplin, and my style is free movement and honesty. Howdy! I'm Brendon, a quiet Mid-Westerner turned East-Coast loud-mouth who happens to have a knack for photography, editing, graphic illustration, and all things creative. My background comes from shooting fashion shows and exclusive events for (personal information protected by Zola) around NYC, which made me appreciate the avant-garde.

Photography is something near and dear to the both of us as it’s the hobby that developed our friendship into a relationship. One of our very first dates was walking around various neighborhoods in Manhattan with our cameras in hand. Now, we don’t even leave the house without our cameras. One evening after a couple of beers and too many weeks in quarantine, we were feeling brave and we said aloud “Why don’t we start a wedding photography business together?” We’ve been shooting them together for friends, family, and through word of mouth over the last couple of years. We fucking love it, so it was time to make it official.

    Best Photographers Around!

    We had a terrific experience working with Meaghan and Brendon of “Far Out Feeling.” If you’ve made it this far, you already love their style – their ability to capture both candid and staged photos artfully – and we are happy to report that the photographers have personalities to match. We loved meeting them for drinks months in advance of our wedding, which gave us a nice context for one another when the day finally came (we cannot imagine, now, not knowing our wedding photographers when they arrived to take pictures of us!) We perhaps didn’t consider how crucial this feeling of comfort was, but when you think about, you do spend a tremendous portion of your wedding day with your photographers. Meaghan and Brendon felt like friends, which made even the parts of the wedding that we don’t like (posing!) feel easy, natural, and fun. Meaghan and Brendon were incredibly responsive, from first to last. They always got back to us the day we had a question, and even weeks after our wedding, they were responding to our technical difficulties within minutes. And the photos themselves turned out great! Again, you’ve probably seen evidence of this already. We cannot wait to print them, frame them, and, in all likelihood, post them relentlessly to our Instagram stories. A huge thank you to Meaghan and Brendon, who we recommend whole-heartedly.

    The coolest duo!

    I didn't quite realize how many different styles of wedding photographers were out there until we started looking for ours! We knew we wanted cool and candid, and photographers who would make us, two awkward people who are never in front of cameras, feel at ease. ENTER Meaghan and Brendon! We met these two in a video chat and knew right away they were the ones for us. We loved having a Brooklyn couple our age be the ones to capture our day. And when we met for our engagement shoot, I knew we made the right choice! They just right away figured us out, and how to make us feel comfortable, get us laughing and relaxed, and somehow, thanks to their major skills, created pure magic. After that, I couldn't wait for our wedding day, just to see what they could capture! I can't say enough how easy they were to work with, how much we appreciated their hype and excitement, and how easy they made it all feel. We literally will never look cooler than in the pictures they have taken of us! You want magic too? Book these guys, you won't regret it!

    RUN DONT WALK!!!!

    I HAVE NO WORDS BUT AT THE SAME TIME ALL THE WORDS!! These people first off are just the most incredibly kind, down to earth and amazing humans. I would like to think they are my BFFs now. No but seriously, they are so easy to work with, organized, great with communication and most importantly their photography skillss are BANGING!!! Especially if you are looking for the more natural candid photos they slaaaayy. Meaghan and Brendon have my heart and my soul and I will love them till eternity for being amazing and also capturing our wedding day perfectly. They are quick, they don't linger and they get the job done and make it painless. BOOK NOW OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE. the end.

    The Best Decision!

    We are so grateful that we stumbled upon Meaghan and Brendon during our vendor search. From our first virtual meeting to the wedding day, we feel like we gained two new friends! After we decided to choose them for our big day, they sent us the most thoughtful box of goodies (even including sand and shells from the beach we got married on!). They sent us business cards for other vendors in the area and such a nice note. After that, they reached out periodically to check in, and helped us with a perfect timeline for our wedding day. Fast forward to our wedding day, they made us feel SO comfortable and were insanely creative/artistic. We had a small wedding, where every guest noticed how great they were! We were in awe over our photos (which we also received very quickly) and will cherish them forever. I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

    Amazing work, amazing people!

    If we could rate Meaghan and Brendon 10/5 we would! We feel so lucky we found them. From the very start they were so amazing to work with. Their personalities are awesome, they are so communicative, and so well-organized. When the big day came we were a little nervous because my husband hates taking pictures but somehow Brendon and Meaghan made him feel/look like a model. We had so much fun the whole night taking pictures with them. Our friends and family kept commenting that they thought we were already friends with them because of how at ease they made us feel. Our photos are GORGEOUS and the turnaround time was so fast. Our only problem now is deciding which pictures to print, Meaghan and Brendon captured so many perfect moments. Highly recommend hiring these two!!!
