I found my passion for art while growing up surrounded by horses in a small town in Brazil. The shapes, textures, and colors of the horses always have been inspiring to me. I’ve always wanted to recreate them, but was never really able to. Honestly, my painting/drawing skills were and still are terrible, and that’s when photography came up in my life. I would create imaginary cameras out of my toys and would ‘photograph’ the horses and my neighbors. Photographing people became my passion and then evolved into my work in editorial and wedding photography.

    We cannot say enough amazing things about 98 Wedding Co. ! Gui and Joe went above and beyond in every way, capturing the most stunning, editorial-style photos of us, our family, and our bridal party. The vision we had in our heads of what our wedding photos would look like truly came to life - and then some. The lighting, the perfect use of flash, and their ability to make every shot look like it belongs in Vogue absolutely blew us away. From our first virtual meeting to our engagement photoshoot, to our final walkthrough before the wedding, Gui made us feel so secure throughout the entire process. His patience in answering our questions and ensuring every detail was understood was so appreciated. On the day of, Chris and I felt completely at ease in both Gui and Joe’s direction and guidance, their calm energy and professionalism made all the difference. Thank you, Gui and Joe, for your partnership, attention to detail, and for truly listening to what we were looking for - you absolutely surpassed any expectations we had.     Working with Gui and Zach was everything!!! Their warmth, energy, and creativity made us feel so comfortable and cared for. On our wedding day, you not only captured beautiful photos (despite the rain) but also created such a joyful experience, and we genuinely had so much fun taking pictures!     Gui was the perfect photographer for our wedding and engagement shoot. He made two people who feel awkward in front of the camera feel immediately at ease with his helpful and kind direction. Working with him felt like hanging out with a friend. We wanted a photographer who truly captures the feeling of a moment - and we absolutely got that with Gui. He was a perfect fly on the wall at our wedding and captured everything with his amazing documentary style exactly as we dreamed. We cannot imagine our wedding with a different photographer!

    I can't post enough praise about Gui from 98 Wedding Co, and I'm SHOCKED there's not more reviews here. We recently had our engagement shoot with him and let me tell you-- we were blown away by the photos. We were looking for an editorial style that screamed NYC, and Gui captured it perfectly. All my family and friends were amazed at the shots and could not stop raving about how well he captured us and our vision. It looks like a spread out of Vogue! My fiance and I are also pretty awkward in front of the camera, and Gui's calm and relaxed presence was a breath of fresh air. He knew all the right spots and best places to get the perfect lighting and framing, a true expert in his craft! I can't wait to see how perfectly he captures our wedding and will be sure to update this review when the photos are inevitably stunning as well. Thank you Gui!!!
