Jocelyn is the best wedding photographer you could ask for. Beyond talented, amazing personality, and overall a wonderful human being. From our initial communication, I knew she was the one. She is fun, organized, communicative, and truly made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day. We were able to fully express ourselves around her and you can really see our happiness and silliness emanating in the pictures and memories Jocelyn captured. My partner and I weren’t sure what our courthouse wedding would look like until we saw Jocelyn’s photography and what a NYC elopement could look like. Intimate, simple, elegant, beautiful. Before the big day we talked about places and routines that held meaning and shared references. We both love film and asked if there was a way to get some photos that evoke the color and atmosphere of a Wong Kar-wai movie. Jocelyn’s idea? Chinatown after sunset. On our wedding day there was an equal balance of spontaneity and planning. It wouldn’t have been the day that it was without Jocelyn. She walked us through the courthouse process, took us to a secluded area of Brooklyn Bridge Park for a private vow exchange, and met us at night to get photos that were more cinematic than we ever could’ve imagined. Jocelyn honored who we are as individuals and as a couple through her artistry. She instilled trust from start to finish.
