“We hired Carin to coordinate a complex wedding with a lot of custom elements designed by us and our friends and family. She did an incredible job - our guests all told us what a great time they had, and how much they loved our choices - but the execution was all Carin. Before the wedding, she listened to what we wanted and made sure to ask us everything she needed to know. Then, as the day got close, we didn't have to worry even a bit. Carin handled it all and we were able to concentrate on the ceremony. She did a great job reading the room and figuring out the logistics at the same time, so that from arrival to ceremony to cocktail hour to dinner, to dancing, the evening had a flow that felt organic and natural. Us newlyweds and our guests barely had to think at all. But it was because of Carin's thoughtful and sharp coordination that it felt this way. She was keeping it running behind the scenes, making all the right calls as things came up, like a trusted general in the field. It's hard to express how happy we are with how it all turned out. We'll remember this wedding the rest of our lives, and we got to do it our way, but with a level of professionalism and execution we never could have achieved by ourselves. There's not a lot of coordinators who can do that - who can honor the vision entirely but put all the pieces together. Carin made it happen. (PS - we also hired Carin's partner, Jacob, as our wedding DJ - he did a great job too, reading the room, keeping the party going, and working seamlessly with Carin to keep the flow of the party. “I highly recommend Charissa and her team if you're looking for a wedding coordinator/planner! She is so professional, organized, and just the nicest person ever. We had so many questions and worries but Charissa helped us feel at ease throughout it all. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND on the day of the wedding... literally hauling extra chairs with her throughout the botanic gardens so we could get our photographs!! LOL! You can just tell how much she cares about her clients and we so appreciated the effort. We also had Kevin on her team set-up the decor at the venue and they did an amazing job -- we were blown away when we arrived! We got tons of compliments from our guests at how lovely the entire wedding was and I know we could not have pulled it off without Charissa / Simply Loved Weddings!!”
