While I offer planning services for all types of events, weddings are my absolute favorite. I love working with people. I love making them laugh. I love love and I love watching each event unfold. This is literally my dream job and I am so grateful that I get to work in this amazing industry.

You can call me the logistics queen behind RS Event Co. I have been told I am as effervescent as a bottle of Champagne. I hug big and hold the people that are closest to me in this world VERY close. My passion lies in all things detail - after all, each event is made up of a million little ones!

Our most extensive planning package covers the planning logistics, full design and styling, and complete vendor communication and management.

    The First Vendor you Need to Book for your Wedding

    Raquel is a rare gem in the wedding industry, where you genuinely feel you are getting the best possible service at an incredibly reasonable price. I am not sure how we would have made it through this process without her intense level of care, attention to detail, and wealth of experience. She met every curveball and panicked text with prompt and calm solutions that carried to and through a perfect wedding day. 5 stars simply aren't enough! She started as a bridal bestie, but has turned into a friend for life 3

She kept us on track throughout the entire planning process, helping us navigate contracts, timelines, and countless details while making everything feel manageable and stress-free.     Raquel was amazing! She was very helpful and professional throughout the entire wedding prep/day of and was always willing to chat/help out anytime we needed.     If you’re a bride on the fence about hiring a coordinator—trust me when I say you will want Raquel, in your corner. She is truly a saint dropped on this earth for brides everywhere! As a Type A bride, I knew I needed someone who could match my level of organization—but what I found in Raquel was so much more. From the moment we signed with her, she stayed consistently connected and fully invested. She never missed a beat when it came to vendor communication, design details, timelines, or logistics. More importantly, she took the time to truly understand us—our vision for the day, our personalities, and even our family dynamics (the good, the bad, and everything in between). Raquel is calm, collected, and incredibly organized—exactly the energy every bride needs. On our wedding day, she was essentially our stunt double: always in sync, always one step ahead! She greeted and managed every vendor, kept the day moving seamlessly, and allowed me to fully enjoy special moments with my bridesmaids without worrying about a single detail. She came prepared with her own wedding-day emergency kit—something I didn’t realize the value of until it saved the day multiple times. From reinforcing my bustle (more than once!), lint-rolling my husband’s jacket before photos, to literally sewing a groomsman’s ripped pants —Raquel handled it all effortlessly.     We’ve been wedding photographers for 18 years, and we'll say that Raquel is on a whole different level. We have never worked with a planner like her. Super organized, incredibly efficient, and always magically there when you need her… yet never in the way or in a single shot. It’s honestly impressive. She goes above and beyond in every possible way to make the day perfect both for the couple and for the vendors. She kept everything running smoothly, made our job easier, and brought such a positive, calming energy to the day. Raquel is a total gem, and we’d jump at the chance to work with her again. Yes! We're open to collaborating on other events in addition to weddings! In the past, we've also worked on bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, and community events.
We only take one event per day. We also try our best not to book back to back event days. We want each client to get that undivided attention as their day approaches.
Absolutely! We love to travel and are happy to pack our bags and plan events in new places. Travel is included within 50 miles of New Haven, Connecticut. We do charge for accommodations and any travel outside of that range. We’re happy to give you a customized quote for these services!
This is a great question - and our answer 99% of the time is YES! We absolutely love working with venue coordinators. However, our role and their role is usually quite different. While venue coordinators will handle venue aspects of the day - room layout, sometimes catering, etc. - they won’t be creating a day-of timeline for you or attending to your floral meetings or calling your transportation company to make sure they are on time. We like to think of it as a partnership between our team and the venue - you benefit by having every aspect of your day covered!
Events come in all different shapes and sizes--and planning is definitely not one-size-fits-all... and you wouldn't want it to be! Our services are completely custom based on your unique needs, the size of your event, location, venue, design preferences, all the things. Because of this, we provide a personalized quote for you, which is why our website lists the base price (aka the number after 'starting at').
