While I offer planning services for all types of events, weddings are my absolute favorite. I love working with people. I love making them laugh. I love love and I love watching each event unfold. This is literally my dream job and I am so grateful that I get to work in this amazing industry.

You can call me the logistics queen behind RS Event Co. I have been told I am as effervescent as a bottle of Champagne. I hug big and hold the people that are closest to me in this world VERY close. My passion lies in all things detail - after all, each event is made up of a million little ones!

Description	From the moment you start planning the very first details, until the last bottle of champagne is popped, we will be by your side - your event planning bestie! Our most extensive planning package covers the planning logistics, full design and styling, and complete vendor communication and management.	Hire an event coordinator to manage flow and logistics. You're on top of things, but entrust us with the details so you can fully relish your celebration. We handle tasks like vendor coordination, timing of toasts, and flawless decor display—leaving you free to enjoy every moment!	You’ve done most of the work and now your feeling stuck or you just need someone to help bring it all together. We've got you! We just got married on Nov 1st and the day/night was absolutely seamless thanks to RS Event Co. Everything went perfectly and it was truly one of the most wonderful days of my life. When I first started planning our wedding I didn’t think I would need a day-of wedding coordinator- until the months got closer and I realized how much work would actually go into making the day flow the way I envisioned it. We had heard of Raquel through a family friend, so I decided to give her a call. Raquel was personable, proactive and thought of everything I never even thought to consider. She helped us maneuver the months leading to our special day, checking in often and answering every random text. Whatever hiccups there might have been the day-of my husband and I didn’t notice because she was on top of even the smallest detail. We adored working with Raquel and her team. Our wedding was an absolute blast, which I owe to RS Event Co ensuring our vision was exactly what we wanted it to be. My only regret is not calling her sooner!!!!!!

I would 10/10 recommend Raquel and her team at RS Event Co. to plan your next big event! I knew from our first meeting that I could put my trust in her to coordinate everything for the day of my wedding. From answering all of our questions throughout the planning process to coordinating with vendors month of, and handling the elements day of, she did an exceptional job. Her professionalism, organization, and friendliness put us at ease and we were able to enjoy a perfect day without worry. From the moment my (now) husband and I met Raquel, we knew she was the right person to help us make our dream wedding happen. We selected her "partial planning" package and I cannot begin to explain how grateful we are that we did! She is extremely responsive (near instant text replies!! I could never!), open minded and willing to brainstorm, but also an important (yet patient) force in guiding important decision making and keep everyone on task / deadline. Best of all? Raquel is such a wonderful human being, that over the course of the year we became genuine friends. She CARES, and I think that's one of the most incredible things about her (aside from the very obvious talent she has for planning and coordinating weddings).

Yes! We're open to collaborating on other events in addition to weddings! In the past, we've also worked on bridal showers, baby showers, birthday parties, and community events.

We only take one event per day. We also try our best not to book back to back event days. We want each client to get that undivided attention as their day approaches.

Absolutely! We love to travel and are happy to pack our bags and plan events in new places. Travel is included within 50 miles of New Haven, Connecticut. We do charge for accommodations and any travel outside of that range. We’re happy to give you a customized quote for these services!

This is a great question - and our answer 99% of the time is YES! We absolutely love working with venue coordinators. However, our role and their role is usually quite different. While venue coordinators will handle venue aspects of the day - room layout, sometimes catering, etc. - they won’t be creating a day-of timeline for you or attending to your floral meetings or calling your transportation company to make sure they are on time. We like to think of it as a partnership between our team and the venue - you benefit by having every aspect of your day covered!

Events come in all different shapes and sizes--and planning is definitely not one-size-fits-all... and you wouldn't want it to be! Our services are completely custom based on your unique needs, the size of your event, location, venue, design preferences, all the things. Because of this, we provide a personalized quote for you, which is why our website lists the base price (aka the number after 'starting at').
