While I offer planning services for all types of events, weddings are my absolute favorite. I love working with people. I love making them laugh. I love love and I love watching each event unfold. This is literally my dream job and I am so grateful that I get to work in this amazing industry.
You can call me the logistics queen behind RS Event Co. I have been told I am as effervescent as a bottle of Champagne. I hug big and hold the people that are closest to me in this world VERY close. My passion lies in all things detail - after all, each event is made up of a million little ones!

If you invest in anything, let it be Raquel!
Where do I even begin. Not only is Raquel exceptional at her job, she's just an amazing person. Raquel was recommended to us as a day of coordinator by our photographer and upon first meeting her, I was instantly impressed. She made me and my now husband feel like we could truly trust her with one of the most important days of our lives. Raquel is extremely organized, asks vendors all the questions you don't think to ask, and is always a text away. We met with her each month for a check-in starting a few months out from the wedding which was so helpful with knowing what to do next and staying on track. She also came to our tastings with us as well as a tour of our venue. On our wedding date, we were scheduled to have a Nor'easter. Raquel helped keep everyone in my family calm, reached out to vendors to confirm we were all set without me even asking, answered texts from both my mom and mother in law directly and always offered reassurance. She kept us in our little bubble the week before, which is so thoughtful. She also created separate, detailed timelines for us, vendors, and our bridal party so everyone was on the same page. On the day of the wedding, she was there whenever either of us needed her - whether it was using eyelash glue to make sure my necklace didn't move, setting up our decor at the church and reception, getting on the floor to bustle my dress, helping my husband's grandmother get into her wheelchair, putting boutonnieres on the guys, getting behind the scenes pics, giving our bridal party a pep talk or making sure we ate and drank - she is simply the best. She communicated with every vendor day of and weeks (even months) before the wedding, so we were fully able to enjoy the day. She had worked with/knew most of our other vendors as well which was great. At the end of the night, we were so sad to part ways with her! All of our guests and family now love Raquel just as much as we do! If there is one thing you decide to invest in for your wedding, please let it be Raquel!! She is more than worth it. We love you, Raquel!!

The Perfect Coastal Wedding
We booked Raquel for our summer Mystic, CT wedding this year. As an out-of-state couple, getting married back near family, with a short 8 month timeline, having an involved wedding planner was a must. Raquel did a great job with early and steady communication, navigating us through finding vendors and vendor calls, and helped us build a spectacular team. My husband and I are both wanted the day to feel like us, and to have time built in to the day to enjoy the quieter moments too, and Raquel was great at helping us keep the vision of our wedding intact while also giving us times throughout the day to stay present and in the moment with each other. It was the best day of our lives, and our family is still reaching out to tell us how fun and beautiful our wedding was!

The First Vendor you Need to Book for your Wedding
Raquel is a rare gem in the wedding industry, where you genuinely feel you are getting the best possible service at an incredibly reasonable price. I am not sure how we would have made it through this process without her intense level of care, attention to detail, and wealth of experience. She met every curveball and panicked text with prompt and calm solutions that carried to and through a perfect wedding day. 5 stars simply aren't enough! She started as a bridal bestie, but has turned into a friend for life 3

Raquel was amazing! She was very helpful and professional throughout the entire wedding prep/day of and was always willing to chat/help out anytime we needed. She did a great job of coordinating the vendors and was a life-saver the day of the wedding - don’t know what we would have done without her! Can’t recommend her enough!!
