First of all - the end product was just beautiful. Everything from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony flowers to the table styling was exquisite and super unique. Shannon did a great job incorporating my favorite color (yellow) and a whimsical, organic wildness into the design exactly as I had hoped. From our first meeting to the written proposal, Shannon interpreted my thoughts and ideas exactly. I was so impressed that she took my ramblings and half ideas and pulled them together into what I was seeing in my head. Shannon’s GORGEOUS color palette informed the entire wedding design and gave me a jumping off point for invitations, bridesmaid dresses, other decor, etc. Unfortunately, the process of working with Shannon was a bit challenging. She struggled with nailing down details: incorrect number of tables, inconsistent accounting of candles/bud vases, etc. It took a number of incorrect proposal drafts until we got it right - just weeks before the wedding. We were honestly quite disappointed by Shannon’s flexibility and communication. She self-describes as being highly collaborative, but that was not our experience. First, as beer nerds, having hops in the design was super important to us, and while she flagged early on it could be an issue to source real ones, we discussed using fake. While we all agreed that she shouldn’t use fake hops if they looked bad, we were sad to see on the day of that they didn’t make it into the design. It would have been nice to have heard a heads up from her that she didn’t plan to use them - even if it was just a brief mention on the day-of. Second, when our cake plans fell through at the last minute, we asked Shannon if she could possibly supply a few flowers for our small 6” cutting cake. She told us she would try, but later we heard from the bakery that she had given them a flat no. She never communicated her decision to us. Thankfully, the bakery pulled something together for us (shout out to Zest Pastry!). Third, the Monday before the wedding, Shannon sent an alarming email with the subject line “Head Advisory, Oh No!”, asking us what our plan was. Getting any email titled “Oh No” isn’t fun to receive less than a week before your wedding. Further, as a trusted wedding vendor, we would hope that she would have plans for weather or unexpected events rather than looking to us during a very stressful period. Lastly, (and most disappointingly) despite having a run of day schedule, Shannon was nowhere to be found when it was time to put on boutonnieres and corsages. Our photographers and party thankfully jumped in to help to avoid major delays to portraits (shout out to Katie Slater!). Fundamentally, the product Shannon provided was beyond compare - everything was beautiful. That said, the communication, coordination, and organization were lacking from our experience.

Hi Sarah, The team and I want to extend a huge "Thank You" for allowing us to help create floral designs for you and Austin. There are a few concerning notes here that I believe need context. Adverse Weather: Rain and heat plans are the responsibility of the party planning the event. I apologize for not asking about this sooner. The goal was to understand what the plan you two had made in case of adverse weather. Cake Flowers: The contract had a 06.01 deadline for any flower additions; cake flowers were requested on 06.15. Given the additional planning necessary to source food-grade flowers, the less-than-week deadline to order them was not enough. This was expressed to both parties. - Boutonnieres: The personal flowers were handed off at the designated time. I did place Austin's boutonniere on his suit. After handing off your bouquet, I visited the ceremony space to install your flowers. Inside the venue were three additional team members, all in identifying clothing, who would've happily helped with boutonnieres and corsages if asked. Decor Counts: Weddings often do not have final decor counts until the last 6 - 4 weeks before the wedding. Moving factors such as guest and table count and last-minute details often get finalized in those weeks leading up to the wedding. I apologize if that was not well communicated. Again, we appreciate the thoughtful and constructive feedback and will use it to continue enhancing our client experience. - Shannon E.B.

Shannon and her team were beyond amazing to work with from start to finish. I showed Shannon a few pictures of what I liked and let her work her magic - and I am so glad I did. She gave me everything that I wanted and more. She exceeded my vision. All my guests commented on the florals and thought the arrangements were fake they were that good. Aside from the gorgeous florals, Shannon was a breeze to work with. The perfect amount of check ins and communication. The day would not have been the same without her and her team!! Thank you again!!

The flowers Shannon and her team crafted and created were an absolute summer dream. From seeing her previous work, I knew I could trust Shannon to take the lead and boy, I was not disappointed. Her dedication to her business and sustainability through prioritizing American grown flowers distinguishes her from other floral companies and brought me joy to support an admirable business like hers. I still cannot get over how beautiful her creations were - flower crown, centerpieces, bouquet… I highly recommend her to anyone looking for one of a kind florals for their wedding or special event.

Working with Shannon was a breeze. Being someone who is rather indecisive, Shannon took the lead, and without hesitation delivered truly beautiful flowers for our day. She was honest and upfront and even talked me out of spending more than I needed to. I see someone who loves their business and takes pride in what they do and it absolutely reflects in the product she delivers.
