The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).
Do you know how hard it is to plan a wedding when you live far away? It feels like you're missing out on something special; not to mention getting someone to talk to you in your time zone! What we do is eliminate the disadvantages of distance with concierge-level communications including prompt responses and flexible hours. Our clients can ease their FOMO and stay organized when planning their wedding flowers with electronic records, virtual walk-thrus and exclusive venue guides

Could not recommend more!
The flowers and décor from Fountainhead Floral Design brought our wedding to life literally and figuratively! We did not have a strong or clear vision for our florals but Katie took our jumbled ideas and created something we couldn't even envision. We wanted the flowers to be a part of the day but not overwhelming - she totally got our ideas! She brought us great suggestions and made our florals unique and dynamic. The flowers were so fresh and beautiful. We can't thank you enough!
MY DREAM WEDDING FLORALS!!!
The flowers by Fountainhead floral TRANSFORMED my wedding day look!!! My bouquet was everything I dreamed of!! It really tied in the moody, wine color of my bridesmaids dresses while also staying bright and modern. The cross florals were absolutely breathtaking and was the focal piece for our ceremony! In addition the center pieces were perfectly simple but also elegant. If you are considering booking Kate and her team for your wedding- DO IT! Kate was so sweet and without me being too specific about what I wanted, she delivered my dream florals. Kate is someone who knows the floral industry well as well as what is current and trendy. In addition, her prices were the most affordable after I priced out MANY florists in the area.

Kate did an amazing job with my flowers. Every centerpiece and bouquet and boutonniere was exactly what I envisioned and described during our planning meeting. She was communicative and I felt very confident going into the day. Everything was on-time and Kate herself was at the venue to make sure everything looked perfect before the ceremony started. 10/10 would recommend.
A True Partner!
Our wedding was in a refurbished hat factory and the flowers and candles helped transform the space by making it feel more intimate/romantic. Kate is very easy going and great at brainstorming ideas to help bring your vision to life! We worked together over a year and a half of planning our wedding so our vision evolved and she helped us adjust our proposal accordingly. Kate also helped us find opportunities to repurpose florals throughout the event - she was a true partner at every step of the way.
