    Terrible experience

    I am sharing my personal experience with Shannon Maloid, also known as “The Tattood Coordinator,” so other couples and wedding professionals can make informed decisions when choosing vendors. I hired Shannon to provide day-of wedding coordination services and paid 1,000 under our contractual agreement. Unfortunately, she cancelled just three days before my wedding, leaving me without the coordinator I had hired at an incredibly critical time. The stress and uncertainty this caused so close to my wedding were extremely upsetting. I understand that emergencies happen and was very empathetic to it but she mentioned that this happened at the end of August and my wedding was September 11th, she had at least 2 weeks to give me a heads up and gave 3 days notice only after i begged her for answers. SHE EVEN POSTED ON MY WEDDING DAY LOOKING FOR NEW CLIENTS! After the cancellation, I sought the return of my 1,000 payment. Shannon communicated with me in writing and promised to return at least half by the end of my wedding month, with the remaining balance paid in full in October. I relied on those written assurances and allowed additional time for her to fulfill that commitment. As of the date of this post, I have not received the full 1,000 repayment. Despite my 5 attempts to resolve this matter directly, communication has become increasingly difficult. I have also discovered that Shannon has blocked me and members of my family on social media and even changed her name thinking i wouldn't find her. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. Wedding coordinators play an important role in helping couples feel supported and confident on one of the most meaningful days of their lives. Cancelling three days before a wedding and subsequently failing to fulfill written repayment commitments has left me deeply dissatisfied with my experience. She left me with no day of coordination and negative 1000 on the biggest day of my life so far. I believe couples deserve transparency, reliability, accountability, and clear communication from the professionals they hire. I am sharing this account so others can ask questions, carefully review their contracts, understand cancellation and refund policies, and retain written records of all agreements and payments. I am still seeking the return of my 1,000 payment and hope this matter can be resolved appropriately. If it remains unresolved, I intend to pursue the legal and consumer complaint options available to me. This post reflects my personal experience and the events as I experienced them. I hope no other couple has to deal with this kind of uncertainty so close to their wedding day.

    We hired Tattooed Coordinator for our wedding day and deeply regret that decision. Nothing we discussed seemed to matter once the day arrived. They left early without finishing their work, forcing us to set up the arch, clear reserved space, and put up the popup tent for our musicians ourselves—which delayed our entire ceremony. The hand-crafted table panels we spent time on were thrown to the side, specialty items weren't placed where we planned, and table seating arrangements were completely ignored. On top of everything, they disappeared during the event, so we had to do the break down of the ceremony and reception. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else.
