Description | Partial Planning is one of our services that we offer to clients who like to be hands on with the planning process. We work with out clients generally a year to 9 months in advance and coordinate with vendors, work on the decor aspects, and maintain the overall wedding. Partial planning includes rehearsal and day of coordination. | With our custom event design services, AVENTZ Co. brings your unique vision to light through beautifully executed decorating and stylizing services. From wedding receptions to intimate dinners, we assist in planning the overall theme of your occasion. Our services include managing the branding, colors, invitations, centerpieces, and placement of décor to perfect your wedding or event. Day of coordination is included as well. | Month of Coordination involves five weeks of planning before your wedding day! We work with you and your vendors to ensure your day is flawlessly executed. Hardworking planner
I had the absolute pleasure of working with Abby on a recent wedding, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a true professional who handled countless challenges behind the scenes with grace and efficiency, ensuring the couple never had to worry. From moving the ceremony three times in just 20 minutes due to torrential rain and high winds, to coordinating moving an entire floor plan around flooding, and vendors seamlessly, Abby made the impossible look effortless. She stepped in with only a few months to go when the couple’s previous planner had left them unprepared and completely took over, creating a day that exceeded everyone’s expectations. I watched her manage the logistics for a live-streamed ceremony in a venue with little cell service, coordinating with multiple carriers to ensure the bride’s vision was realized. As a vendor, it was clear that Abby’s expertise allowed me to focus on capturing moments rather than worrying about timing or coordination. Her dedication, creativity, and calm under pressure are exactly why every couple should have a planner, and not just any planner, but someone as capable and committed as Abby. If you’re considering a planner, do yourself a favor: hire Abby. You will not regret it.

My husband Alex and I got married in June of this year at Eolia Mansion. After nearly two years meticulously planning our big day I just knew that we needed the right person to help us pull it off, and wow did Abby exceed expectations and boy did we wish we had worked with her earlier on. Abby truly went above and beyond for us from helping with our timelines and floor plan, to executing our decor and managing vendors on a VERY short load in/load out window, to instructing our family/friends. To this day our close friends and family continue to say how amazing Abby was and have had nothing but the highest words about what an incredible job she did so that we could all just be in the moment and enjoy our special day!! Just to top it all off at the very end of the evening my husband accidentally left his keys behind and Abby drove out of the way to drop them off at our after party. Thank you Abby for everything!!

I hired Aventz Co. for my wedding and cannot be more thrilled with how well everything went. Besides offering day-of-wedding coordinating services, Abby also helped us with finalizing design details like our table settings. Abby was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful with wedding planning. She and her tailored made resources made the process far less stressful than it could have been. We are so grateful for everything that Abby did for us; she was a big part of making our special day run smoothly.

We worked with Abby for 18-months in planning our wedding. During the process, she seemed sweet and hardworking even if she had no idea about budgets (pushed for us to spend 1/3 of our total budget on lighting for example). On our wedding day, however, Abby was totally out of her depth. When we arrived 45-minutes before our ceremony, the welcome signs weren’t up, the arch wasn’t set up, readings weren’t printed, and the table wasn’t set. She’d arrived 5 hours earlier, and we have no idea what she’d been up to. At no point did she reach out asking for help or family reinforcements. So much of what we’d planned just never got put up even though the groom, wedding party, and family went into overdrive trying to make up for Abby. After the ceremony, she was no where to be found, and she didn’t get the bar open until 30 minutes into our cocktail hour. Our dinner service then was super slow because Abby used an outdated seating chart. At points we were running an hour behind schedule. The incompetence on display throughout the evening from setup to our sparkler exit was honestly stunning. We don’t like writing negative reviews, but we feel obliged to try to save other couples from the stress Abby put us through. Also, heads up, some of the glowing reviews on here are written by people in the wedding industry (including one of our vendors) masquerading as former clients and the majority of the experience she claims came from her work in jr high and high school.

During the planning process, I consistently checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly and made recommendations for vendors and decor, some of which were not utilized. While I highlighted budget considerations for certain wishlist items, alternative solutions were chosen based on these constraints. Regarding your wedding day, there were several external factors that significantly impacted the event, including high temperatures of 95 degrees, rainstorms, tornado watches, and multiple code red alerts. Early that morning, I contacted the church to implement alternative plans, given the weather conditions, and continued to monitor the situation to ensure your wedding proceeded safely. Additionally, I managed the setup of the tent, tables, and chairs, and worked on your decor, which was not fully labeled or organized according to our planning portal. I reached out multiple times to confirm final decisions regarding the ceremony, but when I didn’t receive a response, I made decisions based on the primary request for an outdoor ceremony. We were able to carry this out despite the changing weather. On the day of the wedding, unexpected rain caused delays in the schedule. I coordinated with vendors to extend their services to accommodate for lost time, which was declined. I continued to assist throughout the day despite the challenges posed by the weather. As the weather shifted and safety became a priority, it was important to ensure everyone’s well-being. Regarding the timeline, I made several suggestions for adjustments that were not implemented, which could have impacted the flow of the event. Additional staffing for the bar and other logistical aspects could have further supported the event’s timing. We strive to support our clients in creating a successful event, though some elements, such as weather, are beyond our control.
