    The best decision we made for our wedding!

    Hiring Tanya from Bookmarked Weddings was hands-down the best decision we made for our wedding. From day one, she was incredibly detailed, organized, and somehow managed to make the entire planning process genuinely fun. Along the way, she transitioned from our planner into a true friend. What blew us away was her creativity. I came to her with some incredibly loose ideas, and she completely ran with them. Tanya truly understood our vision and turned it into a show-stopping, Derby-themed party that our guests tell us is one of the best weddings they’ve ever been to in their lives. Leading up to the big day, she kept us on a clear timeline and ensured we had all of our ducks in a row. She is a consummate professional who isn't afraid to advocate for her clients—she expertly handled tough conversations with vendors so we didn't have to stress. In fact, because of Tanya, all of our vendors received 5-star reviews; if there was ever an issue or a hurdle over the weekend, we never knew about it because she handled it behind the scenes. When the wedding day weather became touch-and-go, we didn't panic for a second because Tanya already had Plans A, B, and C ready to roll. She and her day-of team worked tirelessly and seamlessly. They were always right there when we needed them, but never felt overbearing. If you want a planner who is brilliant at logistics, a visionary designer, and a joy to be around, hire Tanya, you wont regret it!

    Best choice you'll make!

    There aren’t enough words to express how grateful we are that Tanya was a part of our wedding day! Even before Tanya officially came on at the three-month mark, she was always helpful and receptive to our questions. Throughout the final months, we found ourselves constantly saying, “Can you imagine if we didn’t have Tanya?” Organized, detail-oriented, flexible, always upbeat, and beyond calm… she would be the perfect pick for any wedding!!! We always felt very well taken care of in her capable hands! She handled any day-of hiccups with such ease and assertiveness, that we could just enjoy ourselves without focusing on what was happening behind the scenes. I feel like it’s rare that one of the wedding-day details that guests mention to the couple is the coordinator, but more than one person told us how impressed they were by Tanya and her whole team. Do yourself a favor, and book her now (before every other guest at our wedding beats you to it!).

    Absolute angels!

    This was actually NOT my wedding; it was my brother's! But I felt compelled to write this review because Tanya and her team were absolutely brilliant. I was singing two pieces during the ceremony, and seasonal allergies were kicking my butt - not what you want when you have to do your very best for the people you love most in the world. Tanya, whilst doing about 7000 other more important things, ensured that a steady supply of hot water and honey kept flowing, never made me or my mum (who has serious anxiety) feel like we were in the way or bothersome, and - above all - kept the atmosphere calm and schedule clearly communicated. From the rehearsal to the wedding morning itself, she was warm, friendly, super-professional, and absolutely unflappable. She had solutions for all things, and radiated a sense of good humour as well as capability. I'm getting married next year in England, but if we lived in the US, I'd be booking Tanya, no question!

    Perfect Wedding Planner

    Tanya is the absolute best investment we made for our wedding at Yale, New Haven this March. We knew immediately we were in good hands when we started working with her in June 2025 after she was recommended by another couple who married on campus. Since we were planning this wedding from out of state, finding a coordinator we could trust was our biggest priority. Tanya exceeded every expectation. She is an incredible communicator who is both responsive and friendly. She took complete charge of the planning process and made sure we hit every milestone without any stress. Tanya has a brilliant eye for detail and helped us build the perfect team, including our photographer Misha Mishyn, Forget Me Not Flower Shop, and Kiss and Makeup. She seamlessly coordinated our ceremony at Dwight Chapel, our reception at Union League Cafe, and guest lodging at The Study Hotels, and managed the logistics for our Yale School of Music string quartet and organist. Tanya always found ways to make our vision come true while staying within our budget. She even hand-crafted much of our signage and personalized menus, which made the entire event feel so upscale and polished. Tanya is a natural problem solver who handled every surprise and road bump with total composure. When the wedding dress caught a snag and tore just an hour before the ceremony, Tanya did not skip a beat. She coolly sewed it back up on the spot and saved the day. Throughout the process, she asked vendors the smart questions we would never have thought of and always looked for ways to make our dollars count. We truly could not have done this without her. If you want a wedding that is stress-free and perfectly executed, Tanya and Bookmarked Weddings is 100% the right answer.
