Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Amazing Quality and Service
We first encountered DUET at our close friends’ wedding, observing how professional and discrete they were and how nice their work was. Naturally, we remembered them when we got engaged and quickly booked them for our engagement shoot and wedding. It was one of the best decisions we made. From our first meeting with Hanel to the conclusion of our big day, everything went so smoothly. Hanel was very personable, patient in answering our questions and always prompt with communication during the planning process. We loved working with Mike, who is not only talented but also made us both feel comfortable and natural when posing during our engagement and wedding shoots. On our wedding day, DUET was a dream team. When our morning schedule ran behind by almost an hour, they were calm, positive and reassuring while handling pressure. Miraculously they even got us back on schedule without compromising any shots we requested. They were very kind to all our guests and interacted respectfully with all. The quality and prompt delivery of our photos and films were exceptional and did not disappoint at all - every moment was meaningful and captured so effortlessly with timeless tones and refreshing creativity. Watching the films allowed us to relive our big day all over again and we will continue to do so for many years to come. We could not be happier to recommend them to anyone who needs a wedding photography/videography team.

Hire Duet!! You wont regret it!!
We booked both photography and videography after reading so many great reviews, and I'm so glad we did. Their pricing was also incredibly reasonable compared to many other Long Island vendors we looked at, which made the decision even easier. We worked with Hanel for videography, Mike as our lead photographer, and Liza as our second photographer. Throughout the planning process, Hanel was fantastic. He was always responsive, answered every question quickly, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. On the wedding day, the entire team arrived on time, looked professional, and immediately put us at ease. We had a very large, loud, and chaotic bridal party, and they handled everything with such professionalism and patience. They somehow managed to keep everyone organized while still making the experience fun. As a pretty antsy bride who always wanted to keep things moving, I appreciated how efficient and directive they were. They knew exactly what shots to get, kept us on schedule, and never made us feel rushed. Every photo opportunity was handled smoothly, and they captured all of the important moments without taking us away from enjoying our wedding day. Mike, Liza, and Hanel were truly a pleasure to work with. They were patient, organized, talented, and made what could have been a stressful part of the day feel effortless. Looking back, I honestly wouldn't change a thing. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose this team over and over again without hesitation! If you're looking for a photography and videography team that is professional, responsive, efficient, and genuinely great to work with, I can't recommend them enough! They played a huge role in making our wedding day run smoothly, and we're so grateful we trusted them with such a huge element of our wedding. 5 stars all around!!!

WINTER WEDDING JAN 2026
Duet was truly amazing to work with. they are attentive, creative and professional! I picked duet for their candids and capturing the small moments you wouldn't normally see. and they delivered on that expectation. My gallery is so beautiful and I'm beyond happy the duet team was with me on my wedding day. I got married January 2026 with the snow storm the week prior so it was FREEZING but they were champs going into the snow to capture my winter wonderland dream. Photos speak for themselves

Absolutely incredible! MUST BOOK!!
We booked Duet Studios for our wedding after seeing all the positive reviews and beautiful photos. After working with the team, we knew we had made the right decision! Hanel communicated with us the entire process and was extremely organized. He was very attentive, always professional and we were confident we picked the right team! We first met Mike during our engagement shoot. My husband and I (like others) are very awkward in front of the camera and wanted a photographer who made us feel comfortable and look natural. Mike was absolutely perfect! He had us laughing the whole time and was great to work with! For our wedding, we had the Duet team- Hanel, Mike & Michelle, who were all absolutely perfect! They were respectful to us and our guests and made everyone feel so comfortable! They kept us on schedule and were very professional. The pictures we received so far from our wedding are beautiful. They captured the love & happiness in every photo and you can feel every emotion by just looking at the photo. We cannot wait to see the rest of the gallery and our video! We are so happy we booked Duet Studios and suggest everyone book them!
