Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Incredible Experience!

As we near our one year wedding anniversary, my husband and I revisited our wedding gallery, and “WOW!” Is all we can say. The Duet team was incredibly communicative and professional from the very first touch point, to our wedding day and beyond. Their photojournalistic style is exactly what drew us to them, as we felt the candid shots really allowed the love and joy that was in the room with us that day to shine through! They took all of our preferences into consideration and made sure we had the absolute best experience - we were able to get all of our special photos and videos, while still prioritizing spending the day with all of the people we love, and weren’t pulled for posed photos every few minutes, which was important to us. The entire team was truly on point throughout the day, and captured our special moments perfectly! I was especially impressed that they were able to get so many photos and videos of our guests enjoying the dance floor, while not feeling like they were being followed by a camera all night - they were impressively stealth, and provided such a great experience for us all. I cannot thank Duet enough for perfectly capturing our day, and would recommend them to anyone looking for a fabulous photo/video team for their event. THANK YOU DUET!!

Duet helped make our day go off without a hitch! We used them for both photo and video for our wedding and are so happy with our choice. Duet was one of the first vendors we booked about a year and a half out, and they were wonderful with communication the whole time. Our wedding was a long day with a lot of moving parts and we had an extensive photo wish list. They were very prompt & professional, they kept things moving along smoothly, but never made us feel stressed about it. They were extremely kind and patient with us and our families. Duet made sure to capture all the photos we had on our list and then some - and the photos/video all turned out beautiful! We got the full ceremony film and reception films along with a highlight reel, and it’s so special to watch back, especially because it’s impossible to see everything that goes on during the day. We got everything back really quickly, we had our full album and videos back in 9 weeks. We also used Duet for our engagement shoot about a year earlier and we still rave about those photos.Shout out to Mike, Hanel, and our wonderful videographer!

I cannot say enough great things about Duet! They were the only photo/video team we spoke with and knew immediately we wanted to go with them. Their pricing was affordable and their work is amazing. Hanel was a selling point as he was so attentive and on top of all our questions and concerns throughout the process. He and his team made our day go seamless. We received a few photos within two weeks of the wedding and then received all of our photos and videos today, exactly 2 months after our wedding. We could not be happier with their work. We are reliving our big day through Duet's work and would recommend them to anyone looking for a great team. I truly cannot say enough great things about them, from first phone conversation to getting all of our photos/videos today. I can't wait to get to work on our albums as well. Thank you Hanel and co for making our wedding a dream and giving us the most beautiful memories in photo and video form!!

We had a fantastic experience working with Hanel & the Duet team for our May 2025 wedding! Hanel was extremely helpful leading up to the wedding and made things run smoothly the day of. They were so good at helping everyone pose and look their best and were truly some of the kindest people to work with! While photo and video were super important to me, I didn’t want the day to feel like a photo shoot either. The Duet team were experts at making sure we got all the shots I wanted while also letting the day flow naturally. They were the first vendor we booked (after our venue) and I’d hire them again in a heartbeat!
