Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Duet, without question, was our favorite vendor to work with. From a simple money drop off appointment to the all awaited wedding day, the care and attention from the team was unmatched. We first had our engagement shoot with Mike and knew after that moment we wanted to work him for our wedding day. We absolutely loved the photos from that session and knew our wedding day photos would be nothing short of beautiful. His tenure and experience truly shows, a calm and confident photographer- a demeanor needed when having your photo taken is not second nature! He handled our extensive family portrait shot list with grace, photos we prioritized and are forever grateful to have them. There is not a day that goes by that we don’t look back at photos from our wedding and for him, we are thankful. Hanel, the studio manager, was with us every step of the way. Every meeting, form, money drop off appointment and email was met with care and patience. He made all the difference in making Duet a vendor that was a true pleasure to work with. We went with video and can’t watch it back without crying. Thank you to our videographer Mike and our second photographer, Rachel, for being so kind and capturing the candid moments. When I look back on my wedding day, having them around brought me peace in knowing I was working with a best in class photography/videography group. Could not recommend them enough! Effortlessly amazing.

From our initial inquiry, their communication was reliable, prompt, understanding, and incredibly patient as we worked through the details of our wedding day timeline. On the day of, there were some delays that caused our schedule to shift, but the Duet team quickly adapted and took charge, ensuring they captured all the important moments before our cocktail hour. Their professional, comfortable, and creative approach put us at ease, and you can see their passion for their craft shine through in the stunning photos they delivered. We had Duet Photography & Video do the photography for our wedding and were so beyond thrilled with the entire process from start to finish! We did a small intimate wedding with about 26 guests. We were having a hard time finding a studio that would want to shoot for such a small event when I happened upon Duet’s studio from their amazing reviews. Hanel was such a pleasure to speak with- we had a couple of meetings before the big day. Even though we were a smaller event, we truly felt taken care of by Hanel and that we were in good hands. He took the time to schedule a few conference calls to make sure all of my questions were answered, and always promptly answered any questions I had by email. Our photographer for the day, Kevin, was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!! From the moment he rang my parents doorbell at 12:30, until he sadly departed us at 5:30, we were all so impressed by Kevin’s attention to detail, making sure he got all of the shots we wanted, all while keeping us on schedule for the next part of the day. The pictures came out even more beautiful than I could ever hope for! Thank you so much to Hanel and Kevin, for giving us the gift of beautiful photos and memories that we will look back on for a lifetime!

If you are looking for a photography and videography team who truly feels like they are there not just to work your wedding, but to care about it, you 100% need to book Duet Photo and Video. From the very first conversation, we felt like this was the perfect choice for us and that we would get the best photo and video experience and that feeling carried through every single moment of our wedding day. Mike, Michelle, and Min were nothing short of amazing! They were with us from start to finish, constantly moving, quietly observing, and capturing moments we didn’t even realize were happening. The big emotions, the in-between glances, the happy tears, the laughter, things I forgot until we received our photos, they somehow caught it all. Knowing that those moments are preserved forever is something we will never take for granted. When we received our full gallery and video, we were honestly speechless. Being able to relive every moment of our day is something I won’t take for granted and that I am constantly looking back on at least once a week! Beyond their talent, what truly sets this team apart is the way they make you feel. They guided us so naturally, helped us feel confident in front of the camera, and made the entire experience comfortable and fun. Even moments that could have felt stressful were handled with calm, kindness, and professionalism. Our family and bridal party couldn’t stop commenting on how wonderful they were. Choosing Duet Photo and Video was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Thanks to them, we get to relive one of the most meaningful days of our lives over and over again.
