Hi there! We're the team behind Duet Photography & Video. We're a collection of wedding photographers, filmmakers, designers, and editors. We each have our own story of how we've come to be a part of this incredibly field of wedding journalism. As individual as we are, we're all bound by the same love for our craft – the artistry of blending documentary journalism with stunning, creative vision. With over a thousand weddings under our collective belts, we've photographed and filmed weddings of every shape and size imaginable. We can't wait to document your wedding as well!

Duet's been documenting love stories since 2005, so long ago that we used to shoot videos on actual film! Now we use the most modern equipment to create stunning work, but our focus on photojournalism and storytelling has remained the same. Our mission is to deliver works that aren't just beautiful visually, but jaw dropping emotionally.

Hanel, Mike, and the entire Duet Team were amazing to work with I cannot recommend them enough to couples starting their search for a photo video team. We got married in May at Saint Ignatius in Long Beach, followed by a Larkfield Reception. From the first meeting Hanel was accommodating and considerate explaining the process and how their company works, what we can expect from them and a bit about their style as artists. He was always available to answer questions throughout the planning process and seemed happy to do so to make sure we had the coverage we wanted on our day. Day of Mike and the team showed up right on time and made everyone comfortable even with cameras popping up all around us which can always be a little uncomfortable for someone like me who does not really like my photo being taken. They did a great job of melding their artistic vision with catching us all as genuinely and naturally as possible. Making a long day of taking photos a task that was honestly enjoyable. They were able to read the room and know when someone might have needed a bit more direction (by someone I usually mean me) or if we needed a moment between shots, they made sure we got that time. When we got our photos back, we could not have been more obsessed. Picking just a few to go into an album will be an extremely difficult task everyone is so beautiful and so perfectly captures our day as it truly was not overly posed and stiff like sometimes wedding photos are. Everyone we have shared the photos with has had nothing but AMAZING things to say and I cannot recommend them more to anyone who is looking for a wedding photo and video team.

The Best Team!!
Hanel, Mike, and the entire Duet team could not have been better throughout our engagement and wedding season! We first met them after they worked our best friends wedding and we instantly knew that we had to have them photograph own wedding. They were extremely friendly and professional from the first moment we met with them. They worked with us on figuring out where to do our engagement soon as we were going back and forth a lot. Unfortunately it did pour on our wedding day but the team did such an incredible job of taking indoor photos and they are just as beautiful as they would have been on a sunny day. We are so grateful to have been able to work with this team and will be looking for any excuse to work with them again in the future!!!

The Best Wedding Photo & Video Team
Duet Photography & Video were an absolute dream to work with. Our wedding was May 22 at East Wind Long Island. From the moment we inquired until receiving our photos, it was seamless. Hanel made this process easy, answered all questions quickly and truly made us feel so heard! As two people who aren’t so comfortable in the camera, the day of was absolutely perfect. The team made us feel SO comfortable and confident. They kept us so calm and were so kind. The day felt so natural, the timing was better than perfect. We received our gallery and our photos are absolutely breathtaking. Going through our album had us truly reliving the day. Every picture is perfect. We are so incredibly grateful to have worked with Duet, we wouldn’t have changed a thing. This was the best vendor experience I have ever had. I couldn’t recommend this team more and wish I could do this all over again 100x! Thank you to the entire team!!!

Great team!
We had a wonderful time with our Duet crew who were super attentive and creative with their posing choices. After the wedding they remained communicative and kept us updated on song choice options and edited the videos further when we wanted certain things done. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone

An Incredible Photography & Videography Team
We booked Duet for both photography and videography, and we are so glad we did! From the very beginning, they were incredible to work with. We exchanged many emails and met with them several times to discuss our vision, and they took the time to understand exactly what we wanted. They made sure to capture every special moment and every photo we had envisioned. On our wedding day, the entire team was so friendly, organized, and professional. They made us feel comfortable and kept everything running smoothly while capturing all the important moments. When we received our photos and videos, we were absolutely blown away. Everything was edited beautifully, and they truly exceeded our expectations.
