Please inquire on discounts for May 2024 weddings! Purple Thistle Films is a women-owned film company based in New England, and open to travel. I would consider it a privilege to capture the story of you and your circle of people, all together for this one incredible day.

Hello! I am Amanda Rose Wilder of Purple Thistle Films. With almost two decades of experience filming weddings, I bring a sense of calm, vulnerability, and an appropriate level of assertion to wedding days. I develop a rapport with couples and their guests so that my presence feels safe and welcome. I am always at the right place at the right time to capture planned and spontaneous moments. I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to production quality, and never rush through an edit. I am comfortable making a 3-5 minute Highlight Reel, a 40-60 minute Documentary Film (with or without music), and anything in between. I love what I do.
