“If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

“Marcus DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and he was the best DJ we could ask for! We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. Later, he played a great set of 2010s-2020s EDM and hype guest favorites that got the dance floor lit, and with great mixing and transitions too. Highly recommend Marcus if you're looking for a wedding DJ who's very skilled/experienced and just really knows music (not your average wedding DJ)!”

“Ana & Jimmy were in a different league from the moment we met them. On our first Zoom, they listened to everything I said about our taste and our vibe… and then gently told me that our beloved saxophonist idea didn’t match anything we had described. They recommended a guitarist instead— and thank goodness, because they were absolutely right. Their planning process was incredibly thoughtful.. and for me, hilarious. Their music surgery? Thorough and genius, and apparently visible to them before you hit submit. Which meant they saw me type things like “Haed pass,” “No thank you,” and “What even is that??” Live. Thankfully, they have incredible senses of humor. They checked in multiple times, did a full site visit, and showed up with a sound team who stayed all night to make sure everything was flawless. They even coordinated our private outdoor first dance with our violinist while sending the music inside to guests — seamlessly. But the reception is where they catapulted into untouchable territory. They don’t just sing and DJ… they perform. Including: * the full, committed N’SYNC “Bye Bye Bye” choreography * A Blink - 182 elder millennial scream-along that transported us back to 2003 * Coming onto the dance floor to hype everyone * Interacting with guests like they’ve known us forever. I don’t dance— and I was on that dance floor all night. Our guests are still texting us about how unreal the band was and we’ve heard “best wedding I’ve ever been to” on multiple occasions. “45 Riots were exceptional - they MADE our wedding! The entire team at 45 Riots was so professionaland helpful throughout the process leading up to the wedding day. They gave us a clear outline of their options and went above and beyond to make our musical dreams come true. When we expressed our love of Latin music and reggaeton, they worked with us to arrange a classical Spanish guitarist for our ceremony and a Spanish-speaking singer for a Latin/reggaeton set to cap off the night on the dance floor. Above all, they gave an absolutely killer performance. Every musician was a star. I haven’t heard voices that incredible in person ever! They read the room perfectly and paced out the genres to ensure everyone was up on their feet. We also truly appreciated them turning the volume lower for the dinner portion, as a few of our loved ones are hard of hearing - it made a big difference for our guests to hear each other over the lovely music. Can’t recommend 45 Riots enough. As a dancing fiend, it was an absolute dream. From gritty NYC rock clubs to polished galas at the Plaza, the musicians at Moonlight Music have done it all. We have started the party no matter the time or place. Our speciality is high energy performances with songs that you can't help but dance to! We tailor our services to fit your needs and taste. When you first reach out to us, we'll ask you your desired vibe, favorite artists & general music preferences. From there, we'll curate the perfect evening of music for you!

“The Love Revival Orchestra was truly an enormous highlight of our wedding day! The band played for our cocktail hour with a talented Jazz Trio, a parade to get our guests into the reception (so cool and lots of kudos from the guests!!), and an outstanding reception performance. There was not one moment that the dance floor was empty and they truly brought the best energy and talent. Music was one of our biggest priorities for the wedding day and our expectations were blown away. David was very collaborative, helping us to plan the perfect set list and answering all of our questions leading up to the day. We were also so appreciative that the band was able to not only learn but perform incredible renditions of our first dance song, and themes from Vanderpump and Star Wars (truly amazing live!). The Love Revival Orchestra is a truly incredibly talented band that played everything from The Beatles to The Cranberries to Taylor Swift and so much more. We are so grateful for everything and have the highest recommendation for Love Revival Orchestra.”

Harpist Tiffany Wu is based in NYC and LA. Though classically trained, Tiffany enjoys a diverse career performing operas, musicals, pop standards, experimental, and more. She’s previously performed with the Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra, United Nations Orchestra, and more at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Museum of Modern Art. Her musical repertoire includes a number of classical, jazz, world, and pop tunes to ensure that she helps provide the right atmosphere for your event!
