When the time came for my wedding day, (we DIY'D everything) so naturally we ran entirely behind schedule! That's when my DJ Mike SAVED the day along with my photographer and they basically took the coordination of placing the guests in and out of the appropriate rooms and they even helped me make a candle light outdoor ceremony look even better. “If I could, I’d take out billboards, blimps, and skywriting planes to express how professional, personable, and INCREIBLY reliable Stat10 is! Our 6/29 wedding wouldn’t have been as memorable if it weren’t for the dedication, hard work, and constant communication from Ravi and his team. About four years ago, my husband and I attended a 60th birthday party that was definitely the most lit 60th birthday party I've ever seen. Those seniors were thoroughly enjoying Andre’s mixes and we were out of chairs and dancing the whole night! So naturally, when we started planning our wedding, my husband suggested we get that AMAZING DJ that was at the 60th party (he’s a ballroom dance instructor so impressing him with a music set isn’t an easy feat). It took a few days of digging, but we found Andre's IG page, and I contacted him immediately. AND I'm SO GLAD I DID! Ravi, reached out to me shortly after Andre (who kept everyone dancing ALL night) gave him my information, and we met several times to ensure our big day would be PERFECT. Now, the Virgo in me was ready to micromanage everything, but Ravi knows his stuff and was able to provide me with suggestions, and was my one-stop shopping for the photobooth (the attendant was hilarious!), a candid photographer (who took AMAZING photos), and coming through last minute (the morning of the wedding) with a flower wall that I originally canceled with Stat10 the day before because another company (exterememely unreliable) tried to deliver the wall and just left when I didn’t answer my phone (I was in the bridal suite getting my hair and makeup done and the driver didn’t bother trying to contact someone inside the venue). Do you know they had packed it anyway, just in case, and BOOM! I had my flower wall, which looked gorgeous in the photobooth pictures. I had a wedding planner, but I felt like Ravi and Jordan were a needed extension of my wedding team. They took care of things that went beyond DJing and MCing, like ensuring I was being taken care of by the staff at the venue and that I was well hydrated before walking out into the 92 degree heat before saying my “I do,” (thanks Ravi!). Overall, I can’t express my gratitude to everyone at Stat10 Productions. It’s been about a month since our wedding, and I look back at the pictures taken by the candid photographer every day. I just can’t believe how well everything turned out because I have super high expectations and they exceeded them. I wish we were able to stay and give a video account of how wonderful our wedding turned out, but we have a 1-year-old, and it was approaching midnight so we had to run, but if you’re in the market, don’t hesitate to book this company if you want reliable service. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to book them again for my mother’s surprise 70th birthday party next year!”

“If you’re considering a live band for your wedding reception, look no further than Cause and the Effects. We hired the full 10-piece band to play at our wedding reception on 9/23/23, and that was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. From our initial calls all the way through the actual event, the band set themselves apart and proved to be far more than a standard event vendor. They were completely invested in giving us the best experience possible. Vin and Anthony took the time to get to know us, our interests, and how we wanted the event to flow, and used all of that information to put together an amazing set. Our reception had a few unique twists, and the band took each of our requests in stride with enthusiasm and professionalism. Leading up to our reception, Vin communicated with some of our other vendors to make sure any intersecting elements (for example, audio/video and lighting) went smoothly. And day-of, the full band’s talent and energy blew us away. Once the party started, it did not stop for a single second. We, the majority of our guests–and eventually, some of the band members & instruments themselves!--were going wild on the dance floor the entire night. Even the non-dancers in the crowd were sitting and enjoying the music with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the event, many people pulled us aside so they could tell us how much they were loving the music…and in speaking to guests afterward, the first thing every single person mentioned was how incredible the band was. And talk about a personal playlist–not only did they create a completely unique rendition of our first dance song (Starlight by Muse) to match our dance choreography, but they also delivered a huge surprise. In our consultations, we’d mentioned how important the band Linkin Park is to us…so Cause and the Effects learned “In the End” just for us, and delivered a phenomenal performance as one of the closing songs of the night. It was so meaningful, and it’s something we’ll never forget. Please don’t hesitate to make Cause and the Effects one of the first vendors you book for your event. "Five stars" is not a high enough rating!”

Based in Staten Island, New York, Cause and The Effects is an enthusiastic band comprised of young musical professionals ready to perform at your wedding. The band was founded in 2011 but the versatile members have been playing together and separately for more than two decades. You can choose between a seven-, eight-, or 10-piece band to perform at your reception, while smaller groups can perform during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Show-stopping music is performed with a variety of instruments such as horns, percussion, saxophones, flute, and piano. “We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

“Marcus DJ'd our wedding this past weekend and he was the best DJ we could ask for! We had an initial consultation with him to align on what we're generally looking for, completed a "worksheet" with all the music and MCing details and any specific songs/playlists we wanted played, and then a final meeting to review the day from top to bottom. Marcus was communicative and easy to reach with any questions during this time. On the day of the wedding, he came several hours ahead of time to set up and prepare. During the wedding, Marcus played all the music from guest arrival to reception exactly how we envisioned, and MC'd all of the entrances, first dances, guest photos, etc. exactly on time and without too much fluff, which is what we wanted. “We are so happy we hired the Met Players! From the moment we first emailed them, we could sense their excitement for us and passion for what they do. They were incredibly communicative over email and very organized in terms of planning for our wedding day. We had a lot of specific requests and they accommodated every single one flawlessly (for example, we asked for some piano instrumental versions of Lord of the Rings songs to play before the ceremony and gave very specific timing instructions for songs to walk down the aisle to). The band completely understood the vibe we were going for which was a fun and lively dance floor, and the dance floor was truly packed all night. They helped us have an amazing hora, kept timelines on track by announcing speeches and parent dances, and ended their set with a great performance of Don't Stop Believin. I highly recommend the Met Players for a band that's truly excited, fun, and talented! We hadn't seen them live before we booked, but based on reviews and word of mouth we felt comfortable booking anyway and from the first email we got from our event coordinator I knew we made the right choice. We loved them, and so did our guests because we got many, many compliments!”

“From our first meeting I know Matty would be the perfect fit. He is super kind and incredibly professional. He led us through the wedding process with ease and smiles. He listened to our requests and added his own magic which I knew he would do. The dance floor was packed!! Matty was perfect in his execution- never stealing the spotlight from the bride and groom and he didn’t sing and shout over the music which we appreciated! (That has a time and place but not for this wedding). He pulled together instrumentals for the ceremony and managed the artists and added musicians at the reception and it really brought out the celebratory vibe of the night. We were all smiles and many and he was too! Amazing job! Hire him asap or you will miss out:)”
