“If I could, I’d take out billboards, blimps, and skywriting planes to express how professional, personable, and INCREIBLY reliable Stat10 is! Our 6/29 wedding wouldn’t have been as memorable if it weren’t for the dedication, hard work, and constant communication from Ravi and his team. About four years ago, my husband and I attended a 60th birthday party that was definitely the most lit 60th birthday party I've ever seen. Those seniors were thoroughly enjoying Andre’s mixes and we were out of chairs and dancing the whole night! So naturally, when we started planning our wedding, my husband suggested we get that AMAZING DJ that was at the 60th party (he’s a ballroom dance instructor so impressing him with a music set isn’t an easy feat). It took a few days of digging, but we found Andre's IG page, and I contacted him immediately. AND I'm SO GLAD I DID! Ravi, reached out to me shortly after Andre (who kept everyone dancing ALL night) gave him my information, and we met several times to ensure our big day would be PERFECT. Now, the Virgo in me was ready to micromanage everything, but Ravi knows his stuff and was able to provide me with suggestions, and was my one-stop shopping for the photobooth (the attendant was hilarious!), a candid photographer (who took AMAZING photos), and coming through last minute (the morning of the wedding) with a flower wall that I originally canceled with Stat10 the day before because another company (exterememely unreliable) tried to deliver the wall and just left when I didn’t answer my phone (I was in the bridal suite getting my hair and makeup done and the driver didn’t bother trying to contact someone inside the venue). Do you know they had packed it anyway, just in case, and BOOM! I had my flower wall, which looked gorgeous in the photobooth pictures. I had a wedding planner, but I felt like Ravi and Jordan were a needed extension of my wedding team. They took care of things that went beyond DJing and MCing, like ensuring I was being taken care of by the staff at the venue and that I was well hydrated before walking out into the 92 degree heat before saying my “I do,” (thanks Ravi!). Overall, I can’t express my gratitude to everyone at Stat10 Productions. It’s been about a month since our wedding, and I look back at the pictures taken by the candid photographer every day. I just can’t believe how well everything turned out because I have super high expectations and they exceeded them. I wish we were able to stay and give a video account of how wonderful our wedding turned out, but we have a 1-year-old, and it was approaching midnight so we had to run, but if you’re in the market, don’t hesitate to book this company if you want reliable service. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to book them again for my mother’s surprise 70th birthday party next year!”

Dash of Class made it very easy to tailor the reception music to exactly what we wanted. The online system they use allowed us to input of our must haves in terms of songs and special requests. They also offer upgrades to your package- such as photo booth which saved us time and energy. It was a one stop shop for us. The music selection was perfect—The transitions were smooth, the sound quality was fantastic, and they kept the party going all night long. “We couldn’t be happier with Danny and the Music 2 The Max Team, who went above and beyond to make our wedding an absolute PARTY. Danny was recommended to us by our venue, One if by Land, Two if by Sea, and I’d be hard pressed to think that there’s a better DJ than Danny and his team. Danny was communicative, professional, prompt, and—most importantly—actually DJ’d our wedding rather than having a predetermined playlist play through. As music lovers, my husband and I were very hands on in the song selection and “vibe curation” process, selecting must-play songs for dinner and dancing. Danny quickly understood the sort of energy we wanted to characterize our evening, playing the perfect blend of music at seemingly the perfect time. His ability to read the room is unmatched and our dance floor was packed all night long. Banger after banger after banger with the reception set sounding like something pulled directly from the hottest NYC nightclub in the mid-2000s (exactly what we wanted). Danny also liaised seamlessly with the venue team the day of the wedding, providing gentle MC services that guided guests throughout the night without making any particular moment feel forced or disjointed. It was the best night and the BEST party I’ve been to in my entire life.”

“If you’re considering a live band for your wedding reception, look no further than Cause and the Effects. We hired the full 10-piece band to play at our wedding reception on 9/23/23, and that was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. From our initial calls all the way through the actual event, the band set themselves apart and proved to be far more than a standard event vendor. They were completely invested in giving us the best experience possible. Vin and Anthony took the time to get to know us, our interests, and how we wanted the event to flow, and used all of that information to put together an amazing set. Our reception had a few unique twists, and the band took each of our requests in stride with enthusiasm and professionalism. Leading up to our reception, Vin communicated with some of our other vendors to make sure any intersecting elements (for example, audio/video and lighting) went smoothly. And day-of, the full band’s talent and energy blew us away. Once the party started, it did not stop for a single second. We, the majority of our guests–and eventually, some of the band members & instruments themselves!--were going wild on the dance floor the entire night. Even the non-dancers in the crowd were sitting and enjoying the music with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the event, many people pulled us aside so they could tell us how much they were loving the music…and in speaking to guests afterward, the first thing every single person mentioned was how incredible the band was. And talk about a personal playlist–not only did they create a completely unique rendition of our first dance song (Starlight by Muse) to match our dance choreography, but they also delivered a huge surprise. In our consultations, we’d mentioned how important the band Linkin Park is to us…so Cause and the Effects learned “In the End” just for us, and delivered a phenomenal performance as one of the closing songs of the night. It was so meaningful, and it’s something we’ll never forget. Please don’t hesitate to make Cause and the Effects one of the first vendors you book for your event. "Five stars" is not a high enough rating!”

“We got married at The Bonnie in Astoria in August and LOVED our DJ, Jen Jones. We did share a number of playlists with her and she got the vibe we were going for and picked the exact right songs each moment of the night including one of my parents' favorite slow songs which I didn't even think to mention. We also had some friends play live music for our ceremony and Jen was very helpful meeting with them beforehand and communicating directly with our venue the week before the wedding. We had some technical hurdles/transitions that Jen managed perfectly. I wanted a specific transition from a video I showed and Jen was able to transition from it very smoothly! She also was very aware of the vibe. I was so lost in the moment I lost track of time and she was very on top of making sure we got all of our scheduled plans done! We had a big range of ages at our wedding and a consistently packed, high energy dance floor thanks to Jen's work! Non-Traditional Wedding DJs was easy to communicate with and the worksheet provided helped us a lot, especially since we did not use a wedding planner. The Prospect Park Boathouse can be a tricky venue with its short load-in time and long, narrow layout, but Marcus knew it well and planned accordingly. We also had a Vietnamese/Chinese wedding; in addition to a DJ, we also had a pianist with a singer, and a bilingual emcee. This added some complexity in terms of timeline and switching between the singer and the DJ, but Marcus coordinated well with everyone, kept track of the timeline, and handled all transitions between live music and DJ sets seamlessly. He also showed up a little early to make sure all equipment was set up well and did a mic check during the cocktail hour. During the dance portion of the night, the dance floor was packed all night and people did not want to leave! He played all the songs we wanted (along with additional ones he selected) and all the transitions and mixes were fantastic and kept the energy/vibe high. Many guests commented on how great our DJ was! Even though we had a different emcee, we know that Marcus would have done a fantastic job as an emcee as well - he is warm, friendly, gracious, and charismatic. He is not only a great DJ but also a fantastic human being!”

“Hiring DJ KDOT LIM (Kevin) was the best decision we made when going through the process of hiring our vendors. I am very particular about my music and it was a TOP priority that we worked with someone that understood our vibe, vision, and overall music selection for our big day. He was such a pro and knew what to ask for our venue's AV set up, music prep, and even attending rehearsal which was totally optional for him to join. Kevin understood everything from the timing of the music for the processional, and most importantly my big entrance down the aisle. When it was time to party, he spun all the tunes I requested and also went above and beyond to DJ the most FUN set ever!!! One of my highlights from the day was my husband and I dancing to one of our favorite house tracks that I didn't even request. He just had the perfect song queued up for the right time!!!
