“If I could, I’d take out billboards, blimps, and skywriting planes to express how professional, personable, and INCREIBLY reliable Stat10 is! Our 6/29 wedding wouldn’t have been as memorable if it weren’t for the dedication, hard work, and constant communication from Ravi and his team. About four years ago, my husband and I attended a 60th birthday party that was definitely the most lit 60th birthday party I've ever seen. Those seniors were thoroughly enjoying Andre’s mixes and we were out of chairs and dancing the whole night! So naturally, when we started planning our wedding, my husband suggested we get that AMAZING DJ that was at the 60th party (he’s a ballroom dance instructor so impressing him with a music set isn’t an easy feat). It took a few days of digging, but we found Andre's IG page, and I contacted him immediately. AND I'm SO GLAD I DID! Ravi, reached out to me shortly after Andre (who kept everyone dancing ALL night) gave him my information, and we met several times to ensure our big day would be PERFECT. Now, the Virgo in me was ready to micromanage everything, but Ravi knows his stuff and was able to provide me with suggestions, and was my one-stop shopping for the photobooth (the attendant was hilarious!), a candid photographer (who took AMAZING photos), and coming through last minute (the morning of the wedding) with a flower wall that I originally canceled with Stat10 the day before because another company (exterememely unreliable) tried to deliver the wall and just left when I didn’t answer my phone (I was in the bridal suite getting my hair and makeup done and the driver didn’t bother trying to contact someone inside the venue). Do you know they had packed it anyway, just in case, and BOOM! I had my flower wall, which looked gorgeous in the photobooth pictures. I had a wedding planner, but I felt like Ravi and Jordan were a needed extension of my wedding team. They took care of things that went beyond DJing and MCing, like ensuring I was being taken care of by the staff at the venue and that I was well hydrated before walking out into the 92 degree heat before saying my “I do,” (thanks Ravi!). Overall, I can’t express my gratitude to everyone at Stat10 Productions. It’s been about a month since our wedding, and I look back at the pictures taken by the candid photographer every day. I just can’t believe how well everything turned out because I have super high expectations and they exceeded them. I wish we were able to stay and give a video account of how wonderful our wedding turned out, but we have a 1-year-old, and it was approaching midnight so we had to run, but if you’re in the market, don’t hesitate to book this company if you want reliable service. You won’t be disappointed. I can’t wait to book them again for my mother’s surprise 70th birthday party next year!”

Our wedding was in Stone Harbor, NJ but our families and friends are from New York to the suburbs of Philadelphia and we needed a company that would keep the party going for everyone from 20-90 years ago, and they did just that! They are an experienced duo that had great recommendations and asked us questions that you may not think of during the planning stages. They listened to all of our song requests as well as, more importantly, our do-not play list. When hiring a DJ you don't always think of how the company you choose will also be the MC or "host" of the night. Steve added special touches throughout his announcements while sticking to the flow of the night AND keeping the party going! The dance floor was packed all night and I continue to receive rave reviews from friends and family on how great the music was at our wedding. Based in Staten Island, New York, Cause and The Effects is an enthusiastic band comprised of young musical professionals ready to perform at your wedding. The band was founded in 2011 but the versatile members have been playing together and separately for more than two decades. You can choose between a seven-, eight-, or 10-piece band to perform at your reception, while smaller groups can perform during the ceremony and cocktail hour. Show-stopping music is performed with a variety of instruments such as horns, percussion, saxophones, flute, and piano. They are based in Staten Island but are willing to travel to destination weddings.

“If you’re considering a live band for your wedding reception, look no further than Cause and the Effects. We hired the full 10-piece band to play at our wedding reception on 9/23/23, and that was undoubtedly one of the best decisions we made. From our initial calls all the way through the actual event, the band set themselves apart and proved to be far more than a standard event vendor. They were completely invested in giving us the best experience possible. Vin and Anthony took the time to get to know us, our interests, and how we wanted the event to flow, and used all of that information to put together an amazing set. Our reception had a few unique twists, and the band took each of our requests in stride with enthusiasm and professionalism. Leading up to our reception, Vin communicated with some of our other vendors to make sure any intersecting elements (for example, audio/video and lighting) went smoothly. And day-of, the full band’s talent and energy blew us away. Once the party started, it did not stop for a single second. We, the majority of our guests–and eventually, some of the band members & instruments themselves!--were going wild on the dance floor the entire night. Even the non-dancers in the crowd were sitting and enjoying the music with huge smiles on their faces. Throughout the event, many people pulled us aside so they could tell us how much they were loving the music…and in speaking to guests afterward, the first thing every single person mentioned was how incredible the band was. And talk about a personal playlist–not only did they create a completely unique rendition of our first dance song (Starlight by Muse) to match our dance choreography, but they also delivered a huge surprise. In our consultations, we’d mentioned how important the band Linkin Park is to us…so Cause and the Effects learned “In the End” just for us, and delivered a phenomenal performance as one of the closing songs of the night. It was so meaningful, and it’s something we’ll never forget. Please don’t hesitate to make Cause and the Effects one of the first vendors you book for your event. "Five stars" is not a high enough rating!”

“If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Booking Carinvalè for our wedding was the absolute BEST decision we could have ever made!! Our venue had recommended BVTLive if we were interested in booking a band, so we watched one of their live showcases streamed live on YouTube. My husband and I enjoyed all of the bands that played, but one really stuck out to us, Carnivalè! We booked Carnivalè without even seeing them in person, that’s how good they are! When we did attend a showcase in person a few weeks later, they exceeded our expectations and we started counting down the days until they would play at our wedding! Working with Nils to lay out all of our options was amazing! He is the sweet person you’ll ever meet and so on top of things! Leading up to the wedding we worked closely with our band leader, El, to choose songs and create a timeline for our wedding. El and Carnivalè have played at tons of events and weddings and were super organized and easy going! Fast forward to our wedding night, El and the band were absolutely INCREDIBLE!! “Kevin is AMAZING!!! He DJed our wedding celebration in May 2024, and WOW - he was 100000% our dream DJ. We had eloped a year earlier, so our "vision" for the night was to have an epic dance party with all of our friends - Kevin understood this immediately, and delivered truly beyond our wildest imagination! He kept the vibes moving during cocktail hour, and then seriously BROUGHT THE PARTY. The dancefloor was packed for over 3 hours straight. It felt like every single person there asked us where we had found our DJ, and they couldn't believe the mixes he was doing on the fly!! From the moment I first reached out to him in January right up until the end of the event, Kevin was consistently professional, upbeat, and efficient. He replied to all communication quickly, and was SO thoughtful in his preparation. He provided a shared document months ahead of time so that we could share music and scheduling info, and on the night of the event it was so evident that he had paid attention to every single detail ever mentioned in the document, over Zoom, or on our site visit. Every single must-play song came on at the perfect time, he managed to source very specific remixes that I had mentioned, and he kept the night running on schedule with such a chill, stress-free, and adaptable vibe. Kevin even introduced us to his colleague Richie for dance lights when we were debating our lighting options, which also ended up being absolutely perfect! I cannot stress enough how collaborative and understanding Kevin is, how smooth the process was, and most importantly - what a KILLER DJ he is. He truly wants to deliver the night of your dreams. My heart felt like it was going to explode in the best way multiple times that night, because of all the incredible, better-than-you-could-ever-have-imagined dancefloor moments. I wish we had an excuse to do it all over again, I would work with Kevin again in a heartbeat!!!”
